Kid-friendly holiday rentals in South Zealand

The house is spotless, light and airy, lots of places to sit / lay / relax, extremely well stocked with every kitchen utensil and spice / herb you could ever need. The bedding and pillows were brand new and all linen / cloths / tablecloths fresh and clean. It was so noticeable that huge care and attention goes into their home. From the sunroom you can play one of the boardgames and admire the sunset. Or marvel at hares as they run along the lane. Within minutes of arrival our children were welcomed to use their play area and zip line. An invitation to join Peter fishing was gratefully accepted. He taught my boys how to lure fish for Hornfish, (they caught one which he gutted for us, along with some others he’d caught). We ate them for lunch with a bucketful of shrimp he’d netted for us that morning. Sea to table. What a joy! Peter and Kisser are wonderful people. Their kindness will never be forgotten, and their love of their island has rubbed off on us. A special stay!

We spent 12 days in the beautiful holiday complex in the apartment Bi de Bark and enjoyed the time very much. For two families with two babies, the apartment was exactly the right size and the amenities were super high quality and at the same time family-friendly. We particularly enjoyed the sauna as well as the beautiful outdoor area. The chickens were great fun for the kids. The apartment is also super located so you never have to drive long. We will be happy to come back! :)

Beautiful bright beach house lovingly furnished in Scandinavian style in a fantastic location directly on the beach. The view from the balcony and the small rose-covered terrace to the Baltic Sea is uniquely beautiful. Anja is a warm hostess and has prepared everything for our stay down to the smallest detail and conjured up a unique feel-good atmosphere. Thank you very much for this great long weekend on the Danish coast.

Delightful summer cottage for 3 people. We only slept there for 1 night and were not in the house much. But it was perfectly fine. Good beds and generally clean, however the refrigerator was not particularly well cleaned. Lots of mosquitoes in the evening, but that's to be expected in that kind of area 😁

Vagn's house has everything you need and even a bit more! Lovely interior and a beautiful garden. We as a family enjoyed it very much and would definetely come back again to relax and enjoy the beauty of Bogø.

We loved our visit and just wish we could of stayed longer. Close to the water Sorens place is cosy and you have the use of the whole property. Vordingborg has plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. Thanks for letting us stay.

The kids love the place! Especially the experience with the animals in the farm. Trine was super kind to bring the kids to feed the animals and pick up eggs everyday, sometimes twice a day. It’s the most unforgettable place we had stayed in our entire trip in Denmark ! The house is quite new and the bed is super comfortable. I would also highly recommend Mads’ breakfast and honey.

A wonderfully thought-out and lovingly furnished apartment with high-quality furniture and everything you need. A great terrace, nice and quiet and green to the garden. The bed is very comfortable. Ingrid was a great, friendly host but respected privacy. Fantastic location within 12-mins walk of Malmo Centralstation, old town, gardens and canal paddleboating, and easy bus ride to Vastra Hamnen / Turning Torso building and Ribersborgstranden beach / sauna with great view of Oresund Bridge. 3 min walk to supermarket and bus stops. Had everything you need to make meals and even had thoughtful touches like Ingrid leaving us some Italian crackers, bread, butter, cheese and jam as well as some toiletries. Gorgeous attic loft in three rooms looking out over the city great for watching the long Midsommar sunset. Loved the reading lamp over the armchair so didn't wake my husband. Lovely recommendations from Ingrid for Midsommar as well as how to get around. For foreign non-European visitors, recommend phone shop down the stairs around from Pressbyran owned by a friendly Middle Eastern man who helped us without charge! Flawless holiday in a cosy place. Nice room in quiet neighborhood. Good bed. Shower makes a lot of noise. Meiske was friendly and helpful.

We felt very comfortable. Everything as described. If we go to the area, we will be happy to come back.

We loved staying at Bjorg’s place! We weren’t there for long but wished we could stay longer. It was very nice and clean with pretty view. She knew we were bringing our little one and went out of her way to make sure he’d have a cozy place to sleep and he was so happy! Check in/check out were very easy. We were very satisfied with our stay!

Very welcoming host. felt right at home. We could even clean our bikes and were welcomed afterwards in a nice warm home. Which was very soothing after a long bike ride in the rain!

A beautiful, cozy accommodation, very stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you need. Copenhagen is very easy to reach and after a long day in the city you can enjoy the tranquility of the accommodation on the outskirts of the city - in good weather on the small veranda. Would love to come back again!!

A truly wonderful place to relax and recharge. The apartment is very spacious and offers plenty of space to stay, even if it rains. The equipment is great and you can cook very well, there is everything you need. The outdoor area is a dream of garden, nature and a place of rest, which we have enjoyed using. Last but not least, the two hosts make it a very special place with their open, warm and casual manner. We thoroughly enjoyed being there!

Jakob is very personable and welcomed us personally. We immediately felt comfortable in the beautifully furnished apartment. We were allowed to use the garden at any time. By S-Bahn train, you can reach the city center quickly and Hellerup train station is very close. We thank Jakob and Les for their hospitality and wish them all the best.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. If you want to experience “hygge” during your stay in Copenhagen, this is the place! It is very clean and spacious- plenty of room for two, very cozy for one. The bed is very comfortable, and I loved the bathroom. There are extras of essentials in case you forgot anything. Everyone in passing was very friendly, totally possible to keep to yourself if you wish. The backyard is it’s own special place, I highly recommend unwinding here after a day in the city. Getting to the city is very easy- exit the front gate, go to your right, cross the side walk and you are at the bus stop for 5C headed towards the city. Lime bikes available about 3 blocks that same way as well. I recommend taking the bikes to or from Tivoli gardens/ Glyptotek area for a practically straight shot, easy going biking experience. Pita Kebab down the street was soo good, as were Netto’s premade options. Enjoy your stay in an authentic Danish home!

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful apartment. The location is off the charts….right in the middle of Nyhavn. The views from the apartment over the canal are picture perfect. We were able to walk to most of the cities attractions and lovely cafes and restaurants were right outside the front door. The apartment itself is comfortable, spacious and very clean. Kitchen was well equipped and there was even a washer available. Communication with the host was excellent and timely….accessing the unit was a breeze. Copenhagen is now one of our favorite cities and we would definitely stay here again upon returning.

This spacious, well appointed, two bedroom was perfect for our group of 3. The location is great for shopping during the day and relaxing in at night. Anders was friendly and responsive to our needs. Would definitely recommend this space for anyone traveling to Copenhagen and looking for a bigger unit with convenience and comfort amenities like laundry service, heated bathroom floors and modern kitchen for cooking or hosting a dinner.

Felt right at home in Charlotte's home. Cozy yet modern apartment that's beautifully designed and furnished with all the amenities you may need. Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Convenient location right next to public transportation and walking distance to the city center. Charlotte was also very friendly and responsive!
