Holiday rentals with a fire pit in South Waikato District

Its a great place for hangout. It has great views and very peaceful place for weekend stay. I would love to stay at this place again and strongly recommend to others.

A wonderful, modern, spacious house with lots of space and bathrooms, plus great outdoor amenities. View over the lake is great. Wish there were more dining options nearby, but lots of options to cook in the spacious kitchen and on the outdoor grill.

My family had a wonderful time during our stay, very private and surrounded by a very quiet neighbourhood. Very comfy beds and kitchen was well equipped, we felt right at home the moment we walked in. The outdoor sitting area was AMAZING, great area to chill with a glass overlooking stunning views.Carla was an amazing host and very responsive. Would definitely recommend ✨

This was one of the greatest places I’ve stayed at, and there have been a lot! Checkin was easy, super responsive to anything I asked and it was EXACTLY as advertised. Photos were clear and amenities great. A wonderful retreat from busy adventuring in New Zealand. Can’t recommend it enough

Such a beautiful location and views over Lake Karapiro. The beds were super comfy, and quality bed linen, the accommodation was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was ultra luxurious with double shower and double spa bath. The owners sorted the router for us to improve WiFi connectivity. Kitchen facilities are shared with the laundry. While there is a kettle, toaster, tea and coffee, as well as a microwave to heat food, there are no cooking facilities, nor breakfast provision. There is an underneath fridge provided, plates, bowls and cutlery, so you need to provide your own breakfast things. Something to be aware of as the nearest shops are at Tirau. There is no lounge area as such. The TV is located in the main bedroom. This is something to consider if there's more than 1 couple visiting. The owners kindly provided garage parking with remote garage door opening, as well as use of their spa pool. Heaters were provided in each room. A modern, clean and comfortable stay. Thankyou!

A lovely quiet retreat.

Really cute place! Views are beautiful and the surrounding area is just so peaceful. When booking the listing, I actually didn’t even read that it had a hike up to the Airbnb which was completely my own fault but it was still worth it. The host has prepared gumboots and a torch that can be borrowed which is really thoughtful and helpful.

The cabin is idyllic in the extreme. Excellent stargazing on clear nights, and beautiful surroundings in any weather. We had a lovely stay, and would return again in a heartbeat. Louise and Aaron are fantastic and generous hosts!

it's our second time at Kath and Dave's place, and still fell in love with the beautiful surroundings! A warning though, if you are not a nature lover, or unable to live without the convenience of life e.g. no wifi, no tv, no radio, being mindful of your rubbish --- as it is just 100% serene surroundings --then you would not fall in love with this place! the fireplace is cool, amazing place to just be still, and slow down in life! There are so many things that you can enjoy when you look how great it is walking up with the birds singing, and the smell of fresh air!!!

Stunning surroundings, private and cosy!!! Absolutely loved staying at Kathryn and David’s. a great choice if you’re looking to unwind and disconnect from the city.
