What a wonderful place on earth. So happy that we had the chance to stay here during our England Trip. If you are searching for sth to relax in the pure nature, you defo have to book. Susan and Neil created everything with so much love and detail. Welcomed us with a vegan cake, treats for the dog and some stuff for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay in the nature and the dog loved it. Neil and Susan are so kind and always happy to help. Thx for everything ❤️

A lovely and peaceful place to stay for a few days. If you love being in the English countryside and within easy striking distance of Glastonbury then this is a great place to stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Piggery. It was absolutely beautiful, we loved the space and the indoor/outdoor living. Our two little girls had such a lovely time in the outdoor space while we could relax as it was so safe. We visited Longleat and it was a perfect locations, just 10 minutes away. The perfect place to unwind after a very busy day! Beverly was so lovely and made us all feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again!

Our stay at David and Jill’s place was one of our favourite Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! We couldn’t have asked any more from them, we were greeted on our arrival and they came over to check in on us as checked-out. We felt so looked after! David and Jill have thought about absolutely everything at the property, and the space is contemporary whilst also feeling cosy and relaxing. My partner and I wish we could move in!! The location is amazing, it is so quiet and peaceful, yet you can drive into big towns within 10-15 mins. David and Jill have such an amazing knowledge of the area and told us all the good spots to eat and explore throughout our stay - which was also conveniently all printed out and put into a folder for us to look through at our own leisure too. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will 100% be back. Thank you Jill and David for having us, and for making our weekend so special :)

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful hut. Unfortunately we had cloudy skies so didn’t get to stargaze. Loved our animal neighbours and the visits from the ducks. The BBQ and facilities were great we enjoyed cooking and eating al fresco all weekend. Walked to Winyard Gap for a pub lunch. All in all a lovely relaxing weekend.

Another great stay at the Secret Lodge. Perfect location for my daughter’s exam centre plus quiet environment to revise in and comfy bed in the bedroom for a good sleep before exams!

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

Had a lovely weekend getaway, we were spoilt with the weather. Stunning location and surrounded by lots of lovely towns to visit.

We had an amazing 4day stay. Thank you, Sharon & Tom! It’s our first time trying a bit off-grid, Tom gave us a very warm welcome. Thanks also to Sharon for always being responsive & for making sure everything was ok. The first night, we just needed a little to adjust to the slower pace of life, getting used to the shower, the kitchen, the phone charger in the cabin(with Sharon’s help), and having no signal. We went for a short walk in the nearby forest, was very refreshing. Enjoyed peacefully watching & listening to the birds every morning, feeding fishes in the lake, and using the BBQ in the garden & burner oven in the kitchen every evening. We also liked the helpful info. booklet about things to do in the area & nearby. We visited West Bay and then “Lyme Regis, highly recommend”. On the rainy, just watching the rain, the trees, and the sheep(the black & white sheep couple was our favourite) from the cabin was relaxing. We also saw a family of 4 deer from the kitchen window!

We stayed in the hut called collie. It was absolutely stunning and was so lovely to stay it. Surrounded by nature and animals. Lovely view, hot tub was amazing. The bed was very comfy and everything you needed inside. Thank you so much!

Had an amazing two night stay here. Was very easy to find following the instructions provided. Beautiful location and no noise. Cabin was really cosy and looked exactly like the pictures. It was very clean and provides everything you need and more. Hosts were very pleasant and welcoming also providing a nice book of things to do in the area. Definitely recommend and will be staying here again in the future for sure!

Beautiful setting and a beautifully built log cabin. Peaceful and tranquil. Well worth the money and we will return in the future. Visitors need to visit the anchor inn in seatown for lovely food and drinks

Amazing location, easy walking distance the Sauna on the beach, Anchor inn pub & Gold Cap/Coastal walks…. Also easily commutable to surrounding villages like Bridport & Westbay for extra restaurants, bars & activities like park run.

We had a perfect weekend here. The home is cosy and private, has a great aesthetic (even better than the pictures) and has everything you need to unplug for a few days. The outdoor seating area and garden are gorgeous and we appreciated the thoughtful additions like the boardgames and coffee machine. Lydia was quick to respond, helpful, and the place was spotless when we arrived. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Fantastic place, spectacular scenery and very peaceful. Ideal for a really relaxing getaway, hiking on Exmoor/coastal path or sightseeing in some of the quaint villages such as Porlock and Porlock Weir. Jo was really helpful, proactive and very responsive - highly recommend staying here

The Piggery is a beautiful little haven in Jenny & Pete's outstandingly stunning garden. I was greeted by both Jenny & Pete and their gorgeous dog Midge. As the sat nav takes you to the other side of their property, both Jenny & Pete were very proactive in giving me clear instructions on how to get there and in their supportive communication on the day of my arrival. Jenny was there as I drove to the house to let me in the gates. The Piggery itself is tucked away from the main house and has stunning views, it's cosy, rustic and very peaceful. I felt so safe and at home there, I had all I needed. Jenny & Pete were the perfect hosts, they have the right balance between giving you the space you need and being around when you need, they are both such friendly, open people with great energy. Thank you so much for my stay!

It was the perfect place for our young family and dog. Lots of space and peace and quietly whilst being close to the Jurassic Coast. Andrea was a fabulous host, very friendly and happy to help at all times. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

My daughter and I had a wonderful few days away at Jilly place. We were visiting Longleat Safari park, it was only a 20 min drive away so a perfect location. The accommodation was lovely, really clean and cosy. Tucked down a quiet lane but yet close to two nice pubs. Thank you Jilly we loved our stay.

Perfectly quiet countryside location so peaceful that works so well with the character of the wooden hut, well equipped with an outdoor gas bbq, indoor wood burner and indoor cooker and the shower is great and the bed is really comfy. The feel of camping, the character of a wood cabin but with plenty of creature comforts, oh and don’t be scared of the composting toilet, works perfectly well and doesn’t smell. A unique place will definitely stay again.

Before the trip she sent us some information for things in the area, places to eat etc, was very helpful. Lovely little hide away, nice and private. Just as the pictures showed, Beautiful. What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! The hut was like something out of a fairytale. Ei has excellent taste, it was decorated perfectly. From the bed you have views over the rolling hills of the surrounding farmland and also of the wildflower meadow in the garden. It is so peaceful there- we woke up to the sound of birds singing every morning with no other noise. Ei also has a very friendly cat who chose to join us for our dinners in the garden. She left us lots of lovely local food and drinks in the kitchen which were delicious. There is also a barbecue outside in case you feel like having one one evening. The bed is extremely comfy. The only thing I might mention is that the mattress is quite soft and might not be the best for people with back problems.

We had such a wonderful time, it was a beautiful tiny paradise. Instruction Jane sent was very clear and had given us so many recommendation before we arrived at the accomodation. It was perfect for the two of us, accomodation looked exactly like what you see in the picture. It has everything you need, it was a perfect getaway and what made it even more special was Jane and Neil left us some homemade bread (baked by her mum), homemade biscuits, organic milk, butter and lots of cereals. We met Jane next morning and she was so lovely and took us into her beautiful fairy paradise. Would love to come back again, thank you Jane and Neil for being such a wonderful host.
