Holiday rentals with a patio in South San Jose Hills

We only stayed here one night to attend a graduation, but we absolutely loved the place. The pictures are great, but you won't really get just how charming the place is till you're there. It was plenty of space for 3 of us. Loved the little balcony and the writing/reading corner. We all slept great on the 3 beds: the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet, even with the windows open overnight. We were there on a Wed night and we always found a parking spot close to the home along the street. We didn't cook there but it looked like everything you'd need was there. We enjoyed walking 5 minutes to breakfast at Park Pantry and being so close to everything we needed to access. Even with the hosts living in the downstairs home, we never heard them and our upstairs home was quiet and private. Pamela was always quick to respond and was accommodating of our schedule. We'd stay here again and highly recommend.

Will was a very responsive host and had great recommendations for the area. Just be aware that since this is an attached space to the next-door neighbors, the sound from upstairs is a bit prominent like footsteps/loud sound. Couple of knick knacks like the shower door and fridge door were to be fixed, but that was acknowledged to be repaired. Otherwise, I would love to stay here again.

Very clean and tidy apartment with massive fridge space and well-equipped kitchen. Great for solo travellers and long stays. Throw blanket is super comfortable - couch is a bit too easy to sleep in as a result. Heater is nicely located next to working desk so it was really a lifesaver since I had many early (chilly) morning calls. Speaking of, good internet speed too! Didn’t notice any lag or connection issue during group conferences. Passcode lock is a great convenience since you don’t have to carry anything with you when you leave. Restaurants and groceries are walkable (~15 min) even if you don’t have a car. Neighborhood is quite residential so feels safe. Make sure you have quarters ready for the laundry room that’s across from the apartment! Host replies nearly instantly and very thoroughly. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Natsumi’s place! The apartment was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-located. The check-in process was smooth, and Natsumi was very responsive and accommodating. The space had all the amenities I needed, including a full kitchen set , fast Wi-Fi , private gated garage and full amenities in the unit . The neighborhood was safe , clean , with easy access to restaurants. I especially loved the cozy patio , stylish decor and fully equipped kitchen . Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting San Gabriel !

Natasha was the best host I have met! Respond to my message quickly and very understanding. The unit was small but sweet, had everything I needed. I liked the decoration. Only thing is that it was a bit difficult to walk my dog in the neighborhood as a lot of neighbours have dogs that will bark when we walked by. We encountered off leash dogs twice and had to run back.

Holly was a very great host… she was helpful and very informative. She responded very quickly and helped with all questions even if they weren’t about the stay itself. She informed us on important Information and was just all around great. The building was very safe! Closed off to the public and I felt very secure leaving and entering. A little noisy but it’s downtown… we expected it. I still enjoyed my time there and I’m happy I chose her to be my host… I would definitely visit again!

The host and the place was great. We have a comfortable stay. We were really looking forward to the games, unfortunately the air hockey ball and the soccer ball wasn’t there. Great stay!

Loved the place felt very much at home. I love that it was very child friendly. Had toys and other things for the children to play. We also really enjoyed the board games that were available to use. We had a great weekend.

It was amazing. If I ever travel to LA with my family, we will definately look for Jason's place.

Great experience, lots of nearby shops. Had no issues checking in, lots of accessible necessities.

It was a great stay, perfect for my family and the my little kids. Had most basics in the kitchen and everything else. If you go and plan to cook I would bring some kitchen towels and maybe a baking pan, but that’s about it. Very put together, clean and easy to hang out and just chill.

Our stay was amazing! The host were very accommodating and friendly! Everything was as described and the home was beautiful had so many essentials which made our stay comfortable! Home is super cozy we can’t wait to stay again soon!

Jason was an outstanding Airbnb host. His attention to detail, especially in providing clear and thorough instructions, made checking in effortless and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. The house was spacious, spotless, and well-organized—everything was tidy and exactly where it needed to be. I had everything I could possibly need to enjoy my stay, and the view was truly a bonus! If you have specific requests, just reach out to Jason before booking—he's more than willing to accommodate when possible. Honestly, I didn’t even need to contact him during my stay. Both Jason and his property had everything covered. There’s no shortage of things to do in the area—Universal is just 45 minutes away, Disney is only 30 minutes, and the list goes on. Time flew by, and I genuinely wish I could’ve stayed longer. If you're considering booking his place—do it! I’ll definitely be staying with him again in the future. You’re going to love it. The picture did it no justice ,it is pristine and the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, bathrooms are all clean they provide shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, and towels. The host was always quick to respond, even brought me warm food , she went above and beyond. My next trip I will definitely be staying here if available. I highly recommend this place it’s like a home away from home. Thank you Jeanne for your great hospitality!

Peter was the best host! Not only were the check in instructions great with photo examples to aid a smooth process but he was willing to work with me on checkout time. I came for work and left my belongings at the apartment thinking I would be back in time before checkout and Peter was not only helpful but very understanding. Being able to check in very late after a long flight with front desk security made it really easy and comfortable. It was so quiet! Which is surprising for the area. The space was more spacious and beautiful in person. Can’t wait to book this for visiting friends

Loved our stay here! We were instantly comfortable and had everything we needed. Easy instructions to get in. Felt safe and private. Typical city noise which is to be expected, but nothing bad at all, and the windows block out the noise perfectly so we slept great! No complaints and hope to come back next time we're in town for a concert! Thank you so much Christina!

We had a great time staying at this Airbnb, it was a beautiful and very clean. It was also very nearby to a handful of restaurants and shopping stores. All hosts were very responsive and friendly. Our only complaint was the check out time, the 10am check out time felt very early, earlier than hotel rooms and most Airbnb’s I have previously stayed in. Aside from that everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay.

I had a great stay! The apartment itself is beautiful and spacious, with a large balcony and two bathrooms—perfect for relaxing and feeling at home. The location is fantastic, in a safe neighborhood with plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away. Having access to a parking garage was a huge plus—finding parking in LA can be tough, but this made it super easy. The host was very responsive, understanding, and genuinely nice and cool. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Oksana’s place! It was very clean and as described. Check-in and check-out was easy and the instructions were clear. Parking can be tough, but we got really lucky and got a spot right in front of the building. We decided to uber to places if needed for the remainder of our trip. That worked out smoothly and didn’t have to worry about getting places or finding parking when returning. Overall, very nice place and would recommend!
