Apartment holiday rentals in South Lake Tahoe

Wow! The pictures of this place do not do it justice! First off, the view of Lake Tahoe is spectacular! We spent time on the top deck which has plenty of comfortable seating and umbrellas. Truthfully I could have spent the whole trip just sitting outside here. There is also a hot tub on a bottom deck that we did not use but is a nice option. As far as the inside of the condo, it is gorgeous. Everything is very high end and it’s decorated beautifully. Yet the place is so comfortable and you feel right at home. It was the perfect place for our family of 4. And the hosts were amazing communicators. We had a few questions which were answered immediately with very helpful answers. One note is it’s located about 30 steps below the parking lot and there are steps in the condo as well. For us it was worth every step and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location on the water and an excellent view of the lake. It was perfect for a smaller family trip. The community it’s in is very clean & other neighbors were super friendly. There’s a shared dock with little benches perfect for a morning coffee. The north side of the lake enhanced the “small town feeling” with fun lake side stores, little beaches & smaller (more Local) bars & restaurants. It was close to grocers which made planning meals on the fly super convenient. Overall such a nice location and would definitely consider staying there again.

Tahoe at its finest!

Absolutely gorgeous condo with all the amenities you could ever want or need. The location was amazing. Walkable to all the shops, restaurants, cafes, activities, hiking trails, beaches and more!

This is an incredible location and would definitely stay again. It was a beautiful location and close to activities yet still quiet and restful.

Breathtaking views of the mountain and lake. Perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors and have easy access to the Nevada side of the heavenly ski resort.

We loved our stay at the condo- beautiful location. 10-15min drive to get into town Our dog was comfortable and love the little patio. Our hosts were super responsive and quickly helped when the power needed to be reset. My partner is taller and mentioned it was a little less comfortable for him upstairs, but this is just the nature of the way these condos were built. We would definitely come back!

We had a great stay. The place is comfortable with full amenities- extra pillows and blankets, full kitchenware, comfortable beds, heated pool. Awesome location and walking distance to lots of stores and restaurants. Great communication with the host.

The place is clean, well appointed, and a great location close to resort. Hosts go out of their way to make a first class experience with several nice amenities including stocked coffee bar, well equipped kitchen, and a nice welcome package sitting in each bedroom. The place is awesome for the price.

Kathy’s place was a wonderful home base for our Tahoe weekend. Being able to walk out to the edge of the lake, and out onto a beautiful pier in the peaceful water, just a minute away from the unit, was magical. It was very close to Tahoe City shops and restaurants- you could easily walk or bike over. The location was ideal. The complex was very quiet while we were there (Spring), really so peaceful, and just enough away from the bustle of the main road. Kathy was a very helpful and communicative host. Everything was comfortable and clean, and we had any amenity we could think of at the ready. All around, a lovely stay in a beautiful place, thanks Kathy!

Cozy condo perfect for a quick ski trip to Heavenly. Could have walked to the lift but we drove and it only took a few minutes. Nick is an excellent host, always communicative and helpful.

Jared’s condo in Northstar was a great place to stay for our long weekend trip to the truckee area. The condo has two comfortable bedrooms downstairs and a nice large common space upstairs. The resort area is lovely and location is wonderful with just a short drive to both truckee or kings beach.

We loved this place. A very cool vibe and it was right next to Lift #1. The little restaurant/bar downstairs was a great place to eat and hang out too. It served us perfectly.

Rob’s Place is just as described. We really enjoyed the hot tub.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy condo in Truckee! The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were super comfy, and the fireplace made it extra cozy after a day in the snow.

We had a great stay with our 5 and 8 year old kids and family dog. Fantastic location and great value- exactly as pictured. Cozy, not fussy, right in the heart of the Northstar village. If you need a midday break from skiing or have a napping child, this location is so close that it would be easy to come back for lunch or a rest. Other guests noted the 2 flights of stairs and one elevator as a potential draw back. Wasn't a problem for us on shoulder season. We left our skiiis in the car, you could also check them at the valet if you've got your hands full with kiddos. We used the heated pool and hot tubs at the recc center. Doggy relief was as convenient as it could be in an apartment-like building. Lots of patches of dirt close by with a nice walking trail by the recc center. One note, we had some nice spring weather and the loft got warm in the afternoons. Drawing the shades during the day and opening windows and doors for the evening made it more comfortable for sleeping.

Robin was so helpful and communicative! She provided detailed instructions on how to access the condo. It was more spacious than I pictured it to be. Our kids were thrilled with it and kept calling it our “new home” (I wish!) There is a lovely little view of the lake through the front blinds, too. We would definitely stay here again!

Easy access to downtown and even walkable. Lots to do in the area.

This is our second stay at Robert’s place. He greeted us personally even when we arrived late in the evening and helped us check in. We stayed in the smaller room of the two room villa which was very comfortable and felt like a luxurious hotel room. The room had a queen bed and a sofa bed which was OK to sleep in. The Marriott staff was super responsive and replenished room supplies with in 30 minutes upon request. The room also has a very nice bathroom with a bathtub, a small kitchenette with a microwave and a small fridge. There is also a coffee maker in the room which we used everyday (bring your own ground coffee since the provided ones aren’t that great) . The room overlooks the pool and the three big and small hot tubs. In the morning they have aerobics sessions in the pool so you might want to keep your windows closed if you are not participating. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tubs which are open until 10pm. Parking can be a challenge if you decide not to pay for the $32 valet fee. We ended up parking behind the hotel and used the Flowbird app to keep adding time which ended up being cheaper then the valet. We were out most of the day anyway. Overall, I highly recommend Robert’s place.

Perfect location for a guys (3 of us) ski trip - right across from lift. Ash forewarned us about the steps / no elevator so not an issue. Nothing within walking distance other than Stagecoach Lodge but 10 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. Would recommend to anyone focused on access to slopes and fit for climb.

Great location and super comfortable condo, it’s got great amenities and you can walk to the beach and Heavenly Village. It’s obvious Travis & Janelle take a lot of pride in their place and keeping guests comfortable. We’d definitely book again next time we’re in Tahoe!

Will definitely be a repeat guest! Access instructions were clear, the space was just as described and absolutely perfect for two people. Hand soap, dish soap, sponge and shower liquids provided. The space gets direct morning sun and gets stuffy quickly, but airflow with the open windows remedies that in a jiffy, and a box fan is in the closet! The only hiccup was the tv. No audio cable for the dvd player. There were some tv channels, but the night before checkout, every channel was blanked out and unavailable, so we couldn’t enjoy shows before bed or our breakfast and tv before checkout. A relatively small snafu in such a beautiful place, but will plan for a laptop with downloaded content next time as the internet is too slow to stream (as described in the listing). Private beach and pier across the street were perfect for taking photos of the Milky Way. Thank you, Carol Ann. We can’t wait to stay again!

This is how it should be... direct contact with a responsive owner who is sharing their personal home. (not a corporate rental!) Chris always answered quickly when we had a question. Location was great for those who prioritize skiing and relaxing. View from balcony of Lake Tahoe was amazing! Shared hot tub just down the stairs and across the parking lot was great after skiing. Full kitchen to cook meals was wonderful, and well stocked with pots/pans/etc. Thank you Chris!!!

I had stayed for a week since April 27, 2025 to May 4th. It was an amazing experience, everything was clean and perfect. The location is just minutes away from so many restaurants and activities. I would definitely plan on staying there again and Chris and Eileen were very respectful and attentive to us. They had a variety of great recommendations on restaurants, activities, beaches, hiking and much more!!! My wife loved the place as well and was very happy with the place. Thank you.
