We have stayed a total of 8 times on the canal with a large group. It is easy to find, check-in at your own time is easy and effortless. The setting is beautiful, with the best place to follow the seasons. The floor plan of the house is good. The bedrooms are upstairs and the common areas are downstairs. A larger group can sit at the large dining table. The living room can also accommodate a larger group. Iida always responds quickly, making it easy to agree on things. We spent a weekend here with a group of 12 friends and had an absolutely amazing time in these stunning surroundings. The place is beautifully designed and offers a wide range of activities for all tastes. We especially enjoyed the sauna with its gorgeous scenic view — a perfect way to relax and unwind. We also did yoga on the terrace, made great use of the fully equipped kitchen for group cooking, and had a blast playing yard games outside. This place truly has everything you need for a memorable getaway, whether you’re looking to relax or stay active. Highly recommended!

Wonderful farm setting. It was nice to take a dip in the beach sauna at the end of a long cycling trip. Mummola was nostalgic and in peace, I highly recommend.

Great place to stay! Has everything needed for a great vacation and the location is superb. Bikes and boats are provided for free. We really enjoyed exploring the lake by boat. We are looking forward to coming back one day :)

Very friendly host, everything went really well

We have had a wonderful short stay at the Mökki. Check in was super easy, everything was as it was described. Comfortable beds, amazing view, quiet & peaceful. A great sauna! Johanna replies very fast. Definitely recommend this place and hope we can be back for a longer stay next time. Kiitos paljon, Johanna!

We spent two weeks at Santeri's place and we felt like home in the first second. The house is located in a beautiful area, it's very quiet and peaceful, and there are nice hiking paths starting right next to the house. It was very clean and the house is perfectly equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Santeri is a great host, very supportive, and he has replied super fast. Thank you for letting us stay there.

The stay went very well, it included all the services indicated. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and there weren't too many people, probably due to the low season. Wonderful location! We had a good time.

Very cozy cottage with no end of space: You can spend time in a spacious cottage, veranda, terrace, home, yard, beach, lake. From the yard sauna, a short walk to the beach, which, due to its depth and dark water, is not suitable for toddlers to swim. Beautifully decorated and put together that you wouldn't want to leave🙂.

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

Visa & Noora were very gracious hosts. They responded to messages very quickly and comprehensively. Their instructions were also extensive and varied. The place is really nice and quiet, so we got to ourselves. Very good for a large group with space for everyone and things to do! Strong recommendation for hosts and the listing!

Perfect blend of simplicity and sophistication

This cottage is super nice, located near lake in the wilderness, I can only highly recommend!

Magnificent secluded location on the lake (about 1.5 km long, up to 400 meters wide), rowing boat and sauna directly on the lake, cozy fireplace in the kitchen, beautiful terrace and fireplace - the perfect place to relax, even when it rains. Arja lives 200 meters away above the street, is always approachable and very helpful, but also leaves you alone. She also rents a much more modern house on the big lake about 6 km away - since nobody lived there, we were allowed to use the rowing boat for fishing, which was really VERY nice. Everything was clean and tidy and the kitchen equipment completely sufficient (2 electric hotplates, refrigerator, running water), but the whole facility is already "getting on in years" (as can be seen in the photos) - no problem, but you have to know. There are about 7 other houses by the lake, but we didn't notice anything from other people. For us the perfect cottage on the lake, thank you Arja for everything!

Jesse's accommodation was perfect. Everything was new, lovingly furnished and thought of. It was spacious, sparkling clean and the location right on the lake perfect for a few days of vacation in Lappeenranta. The accommodation had good blackout curtains, a comfortable bed and a very good shower. It couldn't be better, thank you so much

Very nice cabbage with sauna and a beautiful little beach !!!

The cabin was small but well thought out. The environment was incredible! The view and the terrace are a real plus in this accommodation. The sauna and the "shower" room are very well thought out with the water well! This was very convenient and made our showers pleasant compared to other cabins of the same kind. In the morning, you can even pick up fresh eggs from the henhouse, it's great! In short, a great experience! I highly recommend it! The only small problem is the bedding since it is a removable sofa and there is no mattress topper. If you have back problems, it may be complicated. But for the rest, everything was perfect! 🤩

The cottage was in a really beautiful location. You could be alone in the yard. The sauna had soft and warm steam, clean water in Lake Saimaa to swim. Lovely place. Thanks Fairytale!
