Such a beautiful spot! It’s so cool to have access to the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. We had a fantastic, relaxing time. The place was clean and we appreciated the multiple sleeping arrangement options.

This was my second time at the Woodsy Retreat and it was wonderful, again. Enjoyed a hike through the State Forest, the hot tub, and all the goodies and snacks! Perfect place to relax and get away from it all!

Wonderful place and location. Great view and features to enjoy indoors and outside. It was well prepared, and expectations/instructions were clear.

This was our third time staying at Paula's place, and it feels like a second home. It is our first choice of place to stay when we travel to Seattle to visit our family, and I recommend it to all of our friends who are going there.

Our family of 12 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront home! The space was more than enough for everyone to be comfortable, with plenty of beds and room to spread out. Even our grandmother, who uses a walker, was able to get around the house with ease, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved the fire pit and used it every night—such a cozy spot to relax and unwind after a day of activities. The location was also perfect for attending St. Martin’s Graduation, just a short and easy drive away. The house was clean, well-equipped, and full of great amenities like the hot tub, sports court, and private dock. The hosts have clearly put thought into creating a fun yet peaceful getaway, and we really appreciated the care they put into the home. Highly recommend for large families or groups looking for a relaxing lakeside retreat!

This home is an absolute gem, do not pass up the opportunity to book here. Tranquility abounds in this neighborhood, and you can see the sparkle on the water and water fowl from your bed, or watch from the hot tub! My partner and I loved this place, not only for the natural beauty surrounding, but found the amenities and the home to be super clean, thoughtful and welcoming. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud, super comfortable pillows and linens. To preface - we both have slightly different sleep - preferences and found we both had incredible sleep here. The hosts were so kind to text us when a pod of orca whales were out front - what a dream! Their recommendations were excellent and I highly suggest checking out Via Rosa 11 if you can, and walking Grand Forest ( on their list ).

We enjoyed our stay here. It was central to so many sights and places to visit. It felt safe and secure, tho we were unfamiliar with how the door lock worked initially. The space felt open and clean minus small things like baseboards and doors. I appreciated the coffee and very clean linens. The only thing that was slightly unexpected was that the listing said laundry was In unit. Which is technically true but you must contact the host to have her let you into the private utility area of the house to use it. Also, you can hear the family upstairs but they also do pass by a door that is connected to the living room. It was quiet but startled us the first time.

All in all, 5 stars! When Gregg realized I wasn’t going out for dinner & did not bring food with me he made a very kind gesture of bringing over pho cupnoodle. Bonus stars for the beautiful dog, and letting me cut my visit short due to a change of plans. Would recommend.

We had a great stay while visiting family in the area. The home was clean and comfortable, and included nice touches like wifi and a guitar on the wall. The hosts were proactive and helpful in their communication. Location is near a Fred Meyer and the Tacoma Mall, but still on a quiet street. Also, quite easy to get up to downtown, Ruston Way, and Point Defiance.

The place is in a nice and safe neighborhood. Inside the place it was vary vary clean! With being attached to a house it’s was pretty quiet during our stay. The beds were vary comfortable and the place felt cozy. There were lots of amenities that were nice as well. Definitely a good spot that’s close to the city!

We had such a lovely stay here over the Easter weekend – it was everything we hoped for and more! The house is clean, beautifully kept, and the views? Absolutely breathtaking. It’s one of those rare places that feels even better in person than in the pictures. It had everything we could possibly need – and then some. The hosts were simply wonderful – super friendly, accommodating, and just really easy to talk to. They made the whole experience feel warm and personal, not distant or transactional in any way. They even let us check in early and check out late, which made a huge difference for us with kids. Our days were filled with beach walks, seafood harvesting adventures, backyard chill time, and gorgeous sunsets. It felt like a perfect little reset from our busy lives. We were also celebrating our daughter’s 4th birthday during the stay, and she had an absolute blast. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Dale & Carol.

Beautiful cottage on the water! The surroundings are very peaceful. Nice to watch the tides. the kitchen was well outfitted includingna gas range and teapot! Loved it, thanks, Erin!

Absolutely incredible host. Unique situation for my family, they were willing to accommodate and was absolutely responsive from start to finish. We will be going back…. If I recommended for everyone, I may have trouble booking it again lol 😂 10/10 Absolutely Recommend 💯

I had a wonderful stay at Cheree’s place! I brought my dog along and it was perfect for us both; spacious interior and yard, nicely decorated, spotless, beautiful kitchen. I really could not have asked for better. Cheree even left a lovely gift basket and handwritten note which was so thoughtful! The bed was so comfy, I slept really well my entire stay. The house is accessible to grocery stores, parks and freeways. Our favorite was Titlow beach. I hope to visit again!

My son and I couldn't have asked for a better start to the summer! Sema's tidy studio had everything we needed and was very functionally organized. Sema herself is super responsive and helpful. But the true show stopper is the lake! Head out to Sema's dock to kayak, fish, swim, or just chill with nature.

The Loft at Gig Harbor went above and beyond our expectations. The view of Mt. Ranier from the outdoor deck and from inside the loft was a real treat for us. This studio apartment was large compared to other studios we have seen. We felt right at home immediately with many documents for sight-seeing ideas, activities close by and further away. Candace and Bruce have supplied the apartment with all the cooking equipment one would need to have great meals on the deck. The presence of a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer were amenities that were greatly appreciated. Having a regular couch and recliner chair continued to enhance the "at-home" feel of the space. The wi-fi was strong and there were ample outlets for charging devices. We stayed for two weeks this summer and have already scheduled 3 weeks for 2026. We cannot praise Candace and Bruce enough for their gracious hospitality during our stay.

This home is located in one of the most beautiful locations -- gorgeous Harstine Island! The home is decked out (not to mention the wrap around deck is amazing!), spacious and as comfy as home in a fabulous beach community with trails for hiking through the old growth forest and beaches with firepits and excellent beachcombing. We absolutely give this property 5 stars and we'd give 6 if we could.

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

We had a wonderful time. Had such amazing views. We loved the outside area. The bed was soft just as we like! So many amazing things to explore on the island. We had a memorable stay!

The view was amazing and the location easy to find. If we had the time and the weather was nice we would just sit out on the balcony and just watch the marketplace bustle. The space was clean and many essentials were provided. We utilized the pool/hot tub/gym daily which was super nice after all the walking we did during the day. Target being downstairs was also very convenient especially since I needed to grab another luggage cause I ran out of space in the one I brought. The only complaints I might have is that it can be quite loud at night and I was woken up quite a few times. However, ear plugs are provided though I didn't use them because they get uncomfortable after a few hours. We had no actual issues but it can also feel a bit unsafe at night if you're out late due to the homeless population though that is not a fault of the hosts. Despite that I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Just the view and convenience outweighs anything else.

Dawson was an excellent host, my family and i enjoyed every moment spend at her place. She was able to accommodate me and my large group of family members at such short notice. The place is lovely, cozy and warm and had everything and much more that we needed to cook up a meal. The huge deck was a great place that we used to entertain and have games and food, the swimming pool was huge and amazing. The Hot tub was great to soak and hang out in the evening. The entire deck is lit up with string lights and we enjoyed it throughout the night. This place was perfect for our family gathering and getaway and will definitely book again. Thank you Dawson .
