Houseboat holiday rentals in South America

We had such a lovely time staying at Ingrid’s house. The bungalow on the water was really cute and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ingrid was a wonderful host. We snorkeled every day and went to town a couple of times for lunch and to purchase some groceries. We cooked every day so stock up on supplies. There are staples in the cabin like basic spices and oil. Such a peaceful and picturesque spot. We hope to be back soon.

We were 3 adults and we were all so excited with the house. So warm and beautiful with a very friendly host!clean and very lovely. It was a bit far from the town (25min walk) so we had the privacy we needed.Totally recommend it for an affordable option on such a fancy place!!

Un lugar espectacular para desconectar y aprender sobre la cultura de la vida en las Islas Uros. Vidal y su padre Edgardo fueron muy amables y atentos. El desayuno en la mañana siempre estuvo muy bueno. Una experiencia para nunca olvidar. Siempre dispuestos a ayudarte con los tours y transportes que es super importante en los Uros. Y por ultimo y no menos importante, agua caliente. En fin recomendado 100%.

Wat hebben we hier een leuke tijd gehad. Sue is erg gezellig, gastvrij en heel attent. We kregen een heerlijk ontbijt en mochten gebruik maken van de kayak. Sue komt met veel tips in de omgeving en helpt je dit te regelen. Er is niet echt een keuken maar op de gas barbecue kan je alles zelf bereiden.

A quiet paradise over the water. The only sounds were birds and waves, and the occasional boat passing by. Connect to the ocean and nature day and night by watching birds and fish and bats right from your dinner table. If you're looking for some peace and quiet - this is the place for you!

La experiencia de dormir en una cabaña flotante sobre el río amazonas es algo inolvidable, el atardecer y amanecer fue espectacular, la cabaña contaba con todo lo necesario (las hamacas qué tenia era lo más relajante del mundo por la vista), y la atención de Ahuvia supero mis expectativas; Gracias por todo, no dudaría en regresar a este alojamiento si regreso al amazonas, hasta pronto

Manaus est une ville incroyable, la culture y est différente du reste du Brésil mais tout aussi intéressante, les gens sont tous très gentils, enfin la maison était tout simplement super, il ne manquait rien, la vue était incroyable c’est facile d’y aller et c’est très différent du reste c’était magique. L’hôte Tiago a était incroyable très attentionné et m’a aidé à plusieurs reprises, notamment lorsque je suis tombé malade. Bravo et merci beaucoup

Looks like pictures. Luis picked me up from the port. It was a 5 minute boat ride. Many boats got off right in front which gives more opportunity to see other boats. The heater can't be left on all night so I used a hot water bottle the second night and that helped me stay warm. There is a restaurant on site and vendors. Very unique experience.

What a wonderful experience! Igara's houseboat was fantastic, exactly like the photos. Her attention to detail is exceptional and she does whatever she can to make your stay perfect. From the marina, you take a taxi boat which takes about 5 minutes and costs $R10. To get back to the marina, we just hailed a boat - they pass regularly. This is a houseboat amongst a community of them, so you have people and movement around you. There is noise during the day because there are some party boats nearby, but at night time most boats are empty. The noise wasn't an issue though, but it may be for some people. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights - thank you Igara fir a wonderful stay!

Un lugar increíble y mágico con unas vistas increíbles además muy conveniente pudimos hacer jet ski que lo llevaron hasta la casa , también kayak y sin comentar el paseo en la misma casa sin tener q molestar vernos de nuestro lugar disfrutamos de muchas actividades . One thing to keep in mind is this lodge is really remote and set apart from the big group of "uros islands" that are close together so it is kind of aways from the Kalapajra port. If you are looking to detox and unplug from the world this is the perfect place. There is internet which is useful for short-stop communications, or to check-in on flights. Hot shower is available. I was a bit concerned about the eco-toilet, in terms of smell, but it was fine. The place itself and surrounding is amazing, just like in the pictures. The food is bountiful and delicious. The host Mr Ivan speaks exceptional English and very personable and chatted with us one evening, he is like a real friendly and fun neighbor. I was able to arrange a late check-in and early checkout, they are flexible whenever it can be accommodated. I highly recommend and I would not hesitate to come back and stay again.

Fantástico! A experiência de ter um espaço privativo com uma praia praticamente particular é maravilhosa. Ficar na rede observando o Tapajosós é indescritível. A comunicação com o Márcio foi ótima, o espaço estava limpo, a cozinha equipada, tem talheres, taças, churrasqueira… tudo muito bom. O anfitrião também foi bem flexível tanto com o check in como no checkout. Adoramos e com certeza voltaria.

El catamaran es hermoso, me atrevo a decir que incluso mejor que en las fotos. Daniel en todo momento se mostró muy atento, nos ayudó también a coordinar un servicio de bebidas y comida a bordo de la embarcación. El Capitán y su esposa también muy serviciales y amigables. Recomiendo totalmente esta experiencia para recorrer el peñón!

Lugar lindo! Perfeito para descansar e apreciar a natureza. Tudo perfeito desde a reserva até o check-out. Cafe da manhã maravilhoso

Monique's place is great place to stay and recharge. The view of the boat house is unbeatable. Monique is a great host, she answered all the questions we had and provided clear instruction on how to get to her property. We had a great time at her place and definitely create some great memories.

Merveilleux séjour! La chambre flottante est une expérience à vivre. Endroit calme, intime et une nature magnifique. Les installations sont construites et décorées avec goût et souci du détail. On peut voir des paresseux à quelques coups de rames de l'hébergement. Les hôtes, Sylvie et Olivier, sont vraiment sympathiques! Je recommande chaudement cet hébergement!

Such a unique find! Very fun to share a weekend with friends here. Food was great, beds were comfortable, and you just can’t beat the view. Staff were incredible and having access to the restaurant, pool, and hot tub was an added bonus. I didn’t know it was a resort before booking so there’s no communication via the airbnb app but just call the number available and they’ll answer your questions. Highly recommend staying at the cube!

É indescritível a experiência vivida a bordo da casa flutuante. Não só pelas paisagens maravilhosas que Capitólio possui, mas por ter toda a infra estrutura necessária, conforto, atenção e cuidados dos anfitriões. Gilberto e Larissa foram sensacionais. Nós amamos cada momento que passamos. Muito seguro, muito confortável, limpo, e tranquilo. Perfeito para casais e crianças. Sem dúvida é a melhor embarcação de Capitólio e a experiência mais incrível que você pode ter! Eu recomendo de olhos fechados!

É um lugar incrível! A Andrea foi muito atenciosa do início ao fim mesmo eu tendo reservado em um horário bem incomum. O flutuante é de fácil acesso, é exatamente como nas fotos, a decoração do local é linda e tivemos uma grata surpresa com a cozinha bem organizada e com itens que nós levamos mas já estavam lá. Foi perfeito e ela auxiliou demais a todo momento seja tirando dúvidas ou dando orientações. Valeu cada centavo e já recomendei para outras pessoas. Obrigada!

Me encantó todo este lugar, es tan lindo que se siente mágico, me encantó navegar en el Kayak, amé a Capuchino y a Nieve, y la atención de blanca fue excelente, sin duda volvería a quedarme más tiempo

This is a great place right on the water. Hosts Naomi and Jason were amazing and having access to communicate with them is super helpful. Similar response to other reviews, the house is loud. Anyone staying in the lower 2 bedrooms can hear all the footsteps. It wasn't a particular issue for my group but its def something to note. The house is located in the "quiet" end of town. Everything is just a short walk away but you are away from the madness. There is now construction next door that does begin at 8am. Again, not something of concern for our group but prob important to know for the next few months as the homes are being built right next door. Great stay, beautiful location close to anything you need. And amazing hosts!!
