Cottage holiday rentals in Sopela

Beautiful house surrounded by pastures ideal to disconnect and enjoy a few days of rest. The host was always looking out for us. The house is very well equipped. I recommend it above all for summer by the pool, the bbq and the size of the plot.

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage. The very well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi and swimming pool very well cared for, and the neighbor's dog is very friendly. There are amazing landscapes around the area (we went to a beautiful waterfall). But above all, I would highlight the kindness and good communication with Veronica, she was very flexible and she was attentive to us when we needed it for punctual issues. ☺️ We would definitely repeat in this dream house ❤️ Thank you!!!

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . Out of 10 I would give her 11

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

We're so glad we spent those days there. It was very relaxing, beautiful place. The welcome was really warm. The house is as described and very convenient. We are really happy. Small bonus for roommate with these two wouhs wouhs and these 4 ducks 😍

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! Brilliant place to stay, 40 mins from Bilbao, nice and quiet countryside location, the next village has a couple of bars and restaurants and a really nice bakery.. Alberto’s house was beautiful, I will definitely be back in the future… even message me the best ways to get to Bilbao stadium and home on European cup final night..

Olaf, a 10-star host, we were very grateful that he let us use the pool even though it was not yet high season. Very attentive and detailed. The house and garden is perfect if you travel with a dog and children. One drawback is the noisy location next to the road. The house is very close (always by car) to the beaches of Noja and Isla. Recommended accommodation, to repeat!

The house is very spacious, modern and with all amenities. There is space left over for 9 people. The area is very quiet with beautiful views. It is in a valley that has a very nice car route. Next door is a farm and they let the kids see how they milked the cows. Emelina was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it and will repeat if I go back to this area.

The house is equipped with absolutely everything you need, including a welcome gift that we greatly appreciated. The house is perfect for a group of friends or family, with a magnificent garden to enjoy together. We loved the village. 100% recommended!!

An excellent place to stay, the house is big, nice and is very well equipped. We liked everything about the place, especially the fireplace they left us with firewood prepared. The surroundings are very nice and there are quite a few things to see nearby. Farid was very kind to greet us and made sure everything was perfect. It's a place to repeat and enjoy a few quiet days.

Andrea was super nice, she answered all our questions. We will return without hesitation!

Great Peaceful Location, away from the usual crowded touristy places, but with lots to do and visit in the area, for interesting and fun day trips and beach only 50 minutes away.

Spacious clean home, with a large outdoor area. Fully equipped home. Peace, quiet. A home located a short distance from the beaches. Very good communication with the host. Recommended

Menchú and Agus' house is amazing: very nice and cozy and with everything you might need. We couldn't enjoy the garden much because of the time of year we went, but in summer it must be great. The area is very good: with many things to see, with very cool villages, and with a lot of very nice trails. Menchú and Agus are 10-star hosts: they have a very clean and well-kept house and are always available. Before arriving, they send you a lot of information on what to visit, where to eat and the different routes. For everything, Casa Guareña is 100% recommended.

Our stay at "El Alto del Fresno" was delicious. The house is surrounded by nature and tranquility and also overlooks the sea. The house was very clean and very spacious and had everything you need. I want to particularly thank Carlos and María for their kindness and closeness in the treatment. At all times I was able to contact them and they made it easier for us to change last minute without any problem. I also want to recommend to anyone, who has not been to this region, who is approaching. Castro Urdiales is a beautiful seafaring city and in addition to having some beaches and a splendid walk, it eats well anywhere. When we return from vacation, we will certainly return to "El Alto de Fresno" :-)

Fully equipped house, the first time I've found all kinds of kitchenware and cleaning products. Very spacious and comfortable, the porch and garden are a luxury, located in a very quiet village with sufficient services. Very well located, close to all areas of interest. Totally recommended. I'll definitely be back.

This is by far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The house itself is incredible and the surrounding property that it sits on is gorgeous. Everything, and more, that you might need is provided, from washing detergent to olive oil. We stayed here for 8 nights with 3 kids, explored the area, and had a marvelous time. Jose waited for us upon our arrival and showed us around. Such a nice gentleman! Communication with him prior to our arrival and all throughout our stay was flawless. He gave us great suggestions and was always available to answer questions. I cannot recommend this house enough, our time here was an absolute dream. Thank you Jose!
