I stayed at the Lower Dam Lodge for 17 nights. The house was great and the hosts were very friendly. I felt right at home. Watching the freighters go by was fun, as was the bald eagles I spotted too.

We really enjoyed this cozy, private and casual cabin. It had everything we needed, if you are looking for the “Up North/Outdoors” feels this is the place. The private yard was very nice, and watching the freighters go by on the St. Mary’s river was fun! We enjoyed meals at The Cozy Corners just down the road. Jeffery was very nice to work with answering any questions we had. Again this is a “cabin” feel but with all the little conveniences to get you through your stay. The only thing they don’t have is a washer and dryer but who wants to do laundry on a vaca anyway! The bed is comfy, linens were clean and towels were great! It was perfect for the two of us. Typical of up north internet is spotting. But tv, streaming with your own acct was great. Location is ideal commute for Sault Ste Marie! We enjoyed our week very much. Thank you Jeffrey!
