Family-friendly holiday rentals in Sonsonate

Beautiful place surrounded by thermal water springs, the place is quite rustic, very nice to get out of the routine, if you want to disconnect with your family it is the perfect place: the people who attend the place are super friendly and attentive, if you don't feel like cooking, I also recommend the delicious chicken soup, I would definitely come back, points to consider: only one room has air conditioning, although at night it cools down a lot, the street to get to the place in this rainy season gets a little muddy

This place was great. Awesome hospitality. The space was more than enough room for 3 people with all the amenities that we needed and then some, the area was very secure. The beach is a short distance away and was beautiful. Cannot say enough how great the place was. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay.

The house was beautiful and as described. We took our grandmother there to get her out of her home in the city for a few days and it was just perfect. She was happy and at peace. It was worth it. The pool was great and the hosts were friendly.

We selected this home based on previous reviews and photos, and were so happy that we chose it! Roberto, Eneida and Monica were so gracious and hospitable. We appreciated the connections that Roberto helped us with , to have our day on the lake with jet skis for a couple of hours from a local rental...use of the kayaks on site....and the boat was available for rental if we wanted to use it. We were able to order some delicious papusas one evening, thanks to Roberto's help and willingness to row across the lake to get our order!! We loved having plenty of towels available, for pool and bathing, without having to bring them along in our suitcases!! The Host has responded to previous reviews and has a new refrigerator added to a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen! We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed the amenities available! Our family enjoyed a couple of peaceful days together here, and we hope to be back for another enjoyable stay~ Thanks for sharing this beautiful space!

A 100% recommended place, it has everything you need for a nice stay, pleasant weather, good location... the photographs do not honor how beautiful and cozy the house is. Don Rafael is very friendly and was attentive to our needs. We hope to return with my family, thank you for having us!!!

We had an excellent experience at the ranch. The place is very spacious, clean and perfect for sharing with family or friends. Something we value a lot is that the access is completely paved, which makes it much easier to arrive by sedan car. The service was first class; David was always attentive, and Mario, who takes care of the ranch, was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely recommend it if you're looking for a quiet and beautiful place to relax and enjoy with your loved ones. Thank you for everything!

We had an amazing experience at Joe's place in Xanadu. Although we came across a couple of glitches, Joe quickly responded to my messages and had assistance readily available. He's also a very caring host. One suggestion I would make is probably access to better internet or WiFi. During my stay, we had a couple of minor health issues going on and it took some effort to get a good signal to communicate with Joe, Uber drivers and other family members to ask for assistance. I found a few spots around the house with relatively good reception, however, in instances when it's hard to move around or want to stay away from the heat, a better signal would have taken that additional stress off. Other than that, Joe's place is wonderful and he is an amazing host. Highly recommend him and his place. Thank you for being such an amazing host.

This was such an amazing house to stay in! It was spacious, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. I stayed here with my two kids, and we all had a wonderful time from enjoying the pool to exploring the beautiful country around us. Lupita was absolutely incredible. She was always available when we needed her and even cooked for us, her food was amazing! God bless her. If you stay here, definitely reach out to Lupita for any services you might need she was such a great help and made everything so easy. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Ramiro has a beautiful place, peaceful and in a great location. Ramiro is a wonderful host very helpful and responsive to accomodate all request within minutes. We will return and will recomend it to everyone. This is a hidden treasure.

It is a charming house with everything you need to rest and enjoy peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very close to Apaneca and we will definitely return another time.

This place was absolutely breath taking. Javier escorted us to his place and thank goodness he did because we would have been lost. Once we got to the lake house all our worries left. The views were stunning. Thank you to Manuel and Vilma for helping us during our stay.

the stay was very good, I must emphasize that we loved how clean the pool was! we were able to enjoy it as a family, the rooms were very clean and all the air conditioners worked well, the house has distant areas to share so it is perfect to share with family, we really liked the living room and the terrace area facing the sea we had a bit of a problem with the bathroom, there was a bad smell that we could not decipher if it came from the shower or the toilet, we also had a problem with the lever but immediately they solved! finally, the kitchen needs to be closed as we found a little mouse in it

This is an amazing place to stay. It’s looks just like the photos. You feels right at home. The beach view is beautiful. The communication is really good, they work with me to meet my family needs. The person taking care of the house is great, Friendly, respectful and helpful. Overall we had an amazing time. I definitely recommend this place and definitely will stay here again.

Not an easy road to get to . It’s about 20 min dirt road. House and property keepers made our experience and were very attentive . Be prepared to kayak or rent a boat or jet ski since lake is deep and it’s a straight shot to dock not a swimming area . Pool is small as specified but good enough

Recommended! It is one of the few ranches that offer more than 24 hours for the stay, practiceamnete you enjoy 1 night and 2 full days. The ranch is very tidy and clean, direct access to the beach and the hosts are very attentive to your comfort...without a doubt, I would come back!

My family and I had a great time at Casa Martha. The house is clean and organized. Furniture is well maintained and clean. The beds are comfortable to sleep in. Bathrooms are clean and in good condition. The ceiling fans and air conditioning work great and really help keep the bedrooms cool. There are ceiling fans and regular fans downstairs to keep the first floor cool. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and everything was easy to find. The appliances are clean and ready to use. The backyard is beautiful with plants and greenery. The pool was clean and was so fun to use. It is also maintenanced weekly. Since the house is in a gated community, the area is very quiet and safe. There is a guard overlooking the community entrance day and night. No traffic/street noise heard at all. There is a plaza nearby with good restaurants/cafes and is easy to walk to. Gertrudis responded in a timely manner to any concerns/questions and provided friendly customer service.

Wonderful peaceful place on the lake with fabulous hostess always helpful and terrific service in the house. Rosario and Milton were truly wonderful yet discreet. Highly recommended The water in the lake as in the pool is warm It is a true delight we hope to replicate some day soon

We loved our stay. The property is beautiful, we had everything we needed for a relaxing time. We loved having Coco join our family for our stay. The pool was great for cooling down. My husband is originally from Santa Ana and this was our first time visiting the country and his first time back in over 30 years. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

What an amazing week in El Salvador! Tyler and Eva were so helpful and responsive as we prepared for our visit and during our stay. The home and setting was perfect for my family (including our 5 kids). All the windows and breezes from ocean, so peaceful! The beach was accessible everyday, thou late afternoons the tide was high (and waves rough) so we opted for pool during those times. It was our first visit to El Salvador and we took many day trips from our house to coffee farm, cacao farm, surfing and volcanos. It was great location for these many excursions. We used nearby el Zonte and el Tunco for wonderful dinner options each night. Thank you so much for our stay!
