Holiday rentals with a sauna in Sonora

Romy’s place was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. There was the perfect amount of space for us, our teen, and our dog. We could see a bit of the ocean from the front porch, and beach access was easy and close. Over our 20 years of renting houses/apartments in Puerto Penasco, we’ve always found that there are multiple things missing, broken, or unsafe - this was not the case at Romy’s! Everything worked, was extremely well maintained, and we had everything that we needed (and more!) for our stay. Romy’s guest house shows true pride in ownership. We highly recommend!

The place was beautiful. It was very well kept up. The beach access was perfect. Carmen helped us check in, and she was a great resource for information about the town. Carmen was great. I would definitely go back.

I want to start by thanking our host CARMEN. I found this place last minute for an emergency stay on a Friday night I messaged Carmen and she reply IMMEDIATELY. She was so kind and she work quickly late night past 10pm and got us all checked. We were so blessed to be able to get this accommodation for my family of 6 last minute. I can’t thank her enough for her efforts of getting us settled in. The rental was clean and ready as soon as we arrived which was half hour from our location. I can’t express enough about Carmen’s customer service. The next day (Saturday morning) we went and got bracelets for the Mayan palace (7min away from our resort). Carmen’s place was amazing with BEAUTIFUL VIEWS FROM THE ROOM AND BALCONY. Quiet place and REALLY private. Again thank you Carmen for your help and for going above and beyond for saving our family trip and accommodating my family.

This place is great, away from town (30 minutes away) so we were prepared to never go there. Liked how we were able to go to the Mayan Resort down the road. Definitely will make it a norm to stay here next time!

Everything was Perfect! Perfect Location, Apartment/Condo Has everything you need, Very Clean, Quiet and Amazing AC

Absolutely beautiful unit, exactly as described and outlined in the pictures and listing. During the time we were there the pool was almost always open and not filled with a million tourists that you may experience on the more "resort side" of Rocky Point. It is a bit remote,and there is no food or alcohol on site so plan ahead.

I highly recommend this property and Kivoya management company, our host Carmen made check in very easy, directions were clear, the condo was very clean, and the communication was immediate. I will very likely book directly with them in the future since I encountered various issue with Airbnb. We had a prior reservation via Airbnb and the host didn’t provide the keys, it has been over a month and a half and we have yet to get our refund (NOT this property) We again booked a 4 bedroom beachfront/private pool Airbnb home in which the host didn’t confirm our reservation. Despite various calls to Airbnb and despite their supposed AirCover guarantee, they cited policy against contacting the host and they sent us 7 “comparable properties” consisting of a one bedroom apartments, after various calls they offered $25 for the inconvenience. A lot of time and money is spent on these vacations and it’s stressful to arrive to another country with no where to stay. We quickly found this property and despite it being 30 minutes from town, we found the property to be a good value, lots or privacy, somewhat secluded, heads up: resort has no alcohol license so we had to drive in to town for beverages. Victor at restaurant by pool was most courteous, other guests were friendly and overall this is a good property, especially if like enjoy peace and quiet.

Was a great little get away for me and my girls. We felt safe as it was a gated condo, employees always walking around. We went out of season and we loved the fact that it was so private. We made a trip to town one day, and visited the Mayan hotel which we had access to and was also beautiful! We enjoyed that, but we pretty much stayed in the condo, pools and relaxed. We had a wonderful 4 days.

Our stay here for my birthday was great! The view was amazing, there was plenty of room for all of us to stay, and the communication was great! We had access to the resort down the road, and the restaurants and pool there, though we only visited the restaurant! Would 10/10 stay here again!

Our group had an excellent vacation and enjoyed this wonderful property with all the amenities it had to offer, super clean, views were spectacular and most of the type we spent in the beautiful back yard area enjoying the spa, also a super easy walk to a private beach within the gated community was super convenient. The Host of this property are 5 star, easy to get a hold of and super responsive, details and instructions they provide are super clear and direct, on my next trip to San Carlos I know where i will be staying

Great place to stay. Huge place (casa 1) with tons of room. Great place to chill with our family. Kitchen is missing some necessary dishware and seasoning and such. Make sure to bring some because we stay at a lot of homes like this and these are things we don't usually pack. Overall a fun place to stay. Highly recommend this house to everyone looking for a house this size.

Our daughter asked us for a weekend on the beach for her birthday and we could not choose a better house than this, we were accompanied by several relatives so the 3 bathrooms served us wonder, this super spacious and comfortable, it has everything you need in the kitchen, from blender to horses for shots 😅 the terrace of the bedrooms and the ceiling with a beautiful view, our host the most attentive, we recommend it 100%, we definitely return. P

The house is so well kept and fully stocked. We felt right at home. The a/c units are cold and the house was super clean. The beach is super close and not crowded. The house has sooo many extra things like beach boggie boards, standup paddle boards, outdoor games to play etc. we loved staying at this property. The host is so kind and friendly. Highly recommend. There was beer and a few treats upon arrival, such an unexpected pleasant surprise…..especially after a four hour drive. Thank you!!! 😊
