An atmospheric courtyard with a resting mind and body. The building has been completely renovated between 2017 and 2019. On the covered terrace there is a cosy living area and a jacuzzi, the use of which is included in the accommodation price. The cottage has a traditional Finnish atmosphere, to which also a touch of eastern breeze has been added. It is nice to go to the terrace to cool down and enjoy a safe and peaceful garden atmosphere. The cottage has heating and air conditioning, which increases the comfort in summer heat.

The cottage has a kitchen-living room, bedroom, loft, toilet/bathroom with washing machine. The kitchen is well-equipped. The yard has a wooden sauna, shower, and toilet. Own beach and dock. 1 hectare plot. The host family lives in the same yard, 50 meters from the cottage. Peaceful remote work. Close to nature and peace. Welcome to us!

Our cottage is on the edge of the "Old Town", a 12 min walk to art and culture, parks, river, cafes, and restaurants. It is a charming, traditional, renovated wooden cottage with a fireplace and sauna* located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood, on a tree-lined street, beside a park and playground. Lovely for everybody! Families, Tourists, Visitors, Business people. All beds upstairs in loft area. Sleeps 4. One double bed two single beds. Kitchenette for simple meal preparation. Smokefree. Oma piha, kaksi terassia, puusauna, grillipaikka ja täysin varusteltu keittiö. Polkupyöriä lainattavissa ja uimaranta 2,5 km päässä. Erinomainen valinta lomalle tai työmatkalle. Huom! Lähin kauppa tai ravintola ei ole aivan nurkan takana, joten varaa mukaan eväät ja herkut – täällä nautitaan omassa rauhassa.

Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. The modern utilityes are there for your convinience, without breaking the spell.

We chose this location as it really suited it's proximity to relatives who live locally. The accommodation itself is stunning, modern, well laid out and is perfect for a friends/family occasion with itsopen plan lounge/kitchen which includes a large kitchen island with stools, a large kitchen table and chairs and plenty of sofa room. Additionally there is enough space to "escape" for a while for quiet time. I can't say enough about this beautiful place.

100+ year sauna! Amazing to experience the history and culture of Finland here by the sea. It is meant to be a little rustic for how it used to be. The art museum of Sirkka Turkki next door is also an incredible experience to meet the artist and to see her creations. Ari and Arja are amazing people. On a very busy day, they still took time to find a special birch sauna vihta for me. They also made all of the toys available: bicycle, row boat, SUP paddle board. This is a lucky find if it is available grab it!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Maria’s place!The guesthouse is charming, quiet and comfortable. I felt welcomed and at home the minute I arrived. The sea and the sauna were amazing, and the I thoroughly enjoyed walks and runs in the forest. All communication - through messages and face to face - was extremely warm and welcoming . I simply felt at home… The location is amazing and all the activities Maria recommended were great. I highly recommend this special, magical place. Hope to come again soon with my family, Matan
