Holiday rentals with a pool in Sonafluca

This location was great if you want to stay close but not too close to La Fortuna. The house is very private and clean. We highly recommend if you want to stay somewhere peaceful with minimal foot traffic.

Amazing property. Felt more like staying at a high end resort. Extremely clean with great outdoor space and pool. Well stocked and safe with a gated entrance. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time at this property! The house was incredible. The views were absolutely breathtaking and made every morning feel special. One of the most memorable moments was when a toucan came to visit us right on the property. We were lucky enough to snap some photos. Hopefully I can upload them here somehow. Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. Ana was very responsive and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. if you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended and would love to come back.

Carlos’ house was, without exaggeration, the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. If you’re headed to LaFortuna, this is where you should stay. The house was immaculately clean, the location is very private, the pool was awesome, and you can’t beat waking up to the views of Arenal volcano. A short drive to all the restaurants, shops, and grocery stores downtown. Very close to all the tours and hot springs we booked. Do yourself a favor and book this house.

Incredible place, we really enjoyed our stay, as it appears in the photos. The only negative thing is the road that leads to the place is ballast and it is a little deteriorated and the rainy season makes it a little complicated

We loved staying at Casa Santa Fe! We even wish we could go back because our time there felt too short. When we arrived we had complementary platano chips and traditional Costa Rica drinks waiting for us. The space was very clean and made us feel comfortable. The pool was amazing and a great addition! We enjoyed our nights in watching TV together on the couch on rainy nights. As well as the variety of options of excursions to do and good restaurants to eat at! Danny was also very responsive and helpful, which we appreciated, it being our first time in Costa Rica. Even after our stay, he was helpful in offering us new options for another Airbnb when we needed it. We would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Monstera House was fantastic! The host was so thoughtful and made sure we were well accommodated throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade Costa Rican breakfast—such a special and authentic touch that really made our mornings memorable. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We truly appreciated the hospitality and care that went into every detail. Highly recommend Monstera House to anyone visiting the area!

Cozy home, just as described. Comfortable beds Great location for our family of 6 to do all the activities in and around La Fortuna. When we weren’t out exploring, our kids were in the pool, which was so enjoyable. There was a mixup when we first got there with another family who mistakenly was in our place. But it was quickly resolved and we were left a fruit basket the next day.

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

Greg was an awesome, super responsive and friendly host, always willing to help out with activity and restaurant recommendations. Greg also has a full time on-site property manager, who is able to address any issues which may arise. The unit is brand new, with modern amenities and furnishings. The property has a beautiful pool and hot tub and there is a nature area with a walking trail and a gazebo in the back. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in La Fortuna.

The place was very private and safe, all accommodations as described. Very close to the city center. If I had to nitpick, the mattress was extremely hard as well as the pillows. Everything else was amazing, Cristian is very responsive and proactive.

This place was great for our group of 4! Santos, the guard was very helpful and friendly, he even brought us fresh coconuts by the pool! Greg the host was very helpful making sure we were good and always responded quickly! The only thing about staying at this Airbnb is to get a car! It is about 20-25 minutes away from the town of La Fortuna, and that’s where most of the sights to see are! Other than that this was a great stay and had everything we needed! Felt very safe!!

This has by far been one of the most peaceful Air bnb's i have stayed at. The home is gated and very secure and so is the area. the amenities were as describe and the whole place gives you a private feel you feel as though you have the whole place to yourself. The property also features and 3/4 mile trail paved in the back that is very peaceful to walk around especially in the mornings. The owner clearly thought of many aspects of the property to please all and give you a private fee. the communication was amazing Gregory went above and beyond to ensure all was well and we had no issues or concern honestly never had that much detail from a host/owner before it should be a standard for all. The area is not to far from local attractions for me the drive was relaxing around the mountains so peaceful. i traveled here with my wife / son and a few family friends we all were very pleased and sad that we only had 3 days to book here. the market is within 4 min drv i would highly recommend
