House holiday rentals in Somerset County

This was a great condo - spacious and had everything we needed. Very close to sugarloaf base camp - about a half mile so also easy to walk. Would stay again and would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Cheryl and Ambers place. Prompt response always. Great view of sugar loaf mountain. The pool was a bonus. There place had all the essentials you need. I only have a few minor complaints it was very hot with no AC. There was only one fan and no screen doors. Also it could use a deep cleaning. Other than that our stay was great very quiet and relaxing.

We had such an enjoyable stay we didnt want to leave! All agreed we would stay here again - such a beautiful quiet retreat. Steve was a responsive host with detailed instructions for checkin/checkout. It made everything perfect for my family.

Amanda’s place was so comfortable and such a great location! She went above and beyond to reach out beforehand and while we were there if we needed anything. The driveway was plowed before we arrived and even once the weekend we were there after a big snow storm. She was a great host and that alone is enough to make us want to come back.

Amazing host who made special accommodations for my family’s needs. Will definitely be using Rick again next time I’m in Skowhegan.

Jason was great! The house did everything we needed. Kitchen had all the appliances needed. Was close to town. And plenty of room for everyone. The King bed in the master was super comfortable. Only issues we had was pool was super cold but it was brand new so as expected and the third floor was insanely hot. The AC up there just couldn’t cool it down.

The house was very nice, really good size, and right down the street from the Franklin County Fair that was going on at the time.

We loved our stay! This location exceeded our expectations, as it felt very remote but was also 5-10 minutes from skiing, or getting a meal. We cooked at least of the time, & found everything we needed in the kitchen. Each room was so comfortable and lovely. Jenn's plants were an inspiration! Very private and restorative. Don't miss the hot tub!

I booked this rental for 3 of my technicians who were working down the street. They couldn't say enough positive things about the place. It had all of the comforts of home. The property owner was amazing. She provided updates immediately and sent detailed instructions that also included local restaurants.

The house was spacious and very clean. Matthew was attentive, but there were no issues whatsoever, so we did not need to call upon him.

This is our 5th year at the lake house and it’s always a wonderful experience. Everything is clean, easy entry instructions, beautiful lake and dock. We look forward to visiting every summer, and are planning to book again next year!

Jonathan's home was a breath of fresh air, as his attention to details is extremely high- great wifi, clutter free place, clean and comfortable linens with multiple layer options, great kitchen with condiments and coffee stocked (fresh local grounds). We are repeat customers and will continue to use the place as long as Jonathan allows. I'd highly recommend this home.

We loved staying at Samantha's place. It's a cozy and adorable cabins with a knotty pine interior. Samantha was responsive, generous, and accommodating. The location is gorgeous, but plan ahead for meals, as what few stores and restaurants exist close early. The hot tub is awesome!

Really enjoyed Patty and Dave’s beautiful cabin! It was well stocked with kitchen items, utensils and extras like spices, oils that you don’t always find. The space was cozy and very clean. After a lot of hiking on a few consecutive day, we stayed and relaxed in their yard and deck which was a great treat. The hot tub was easy to open and turn on and sparkling clean. Highly recommend this place for a couple!

Jennifer provides so many details and amenities. We had our wedding on site and the transition from bridal to air bnb was a breeze. Would come back and stay in a heart beat! The tub is to die for. Quiet, quaint, clean and professional. Jennifer has a unique, lovely space.

We came to Dragonwood for a small family getaway and had the most amazing time. Carrie was an extremely attentive host and we were never lacking in activities, even when the weather was on the dreary side. We’re looking forward to booking another stay next year!

Such a peaceful retreat! The cabin was spacious, super comfortable, and tucked away in the woods, which made it feel really private and relaxing. Loved how quiet it was - perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Would absolutely come back!

This was one of the best airbnbs l have been to. I absolutely love the location and all the cool shops close by! Our favorite store was the rock shop! We saw moose and had a wonderful time at the lake. This was a much needed trip. Very relaxing atmosphere but close to everything. We absolutely love Greenville and can’t wait to come back! Hopefully we’ll be fortunate enough to get this space next trip too. I highly recommend this Airbnb if you are visiting the Moosehead Lake region! 10/10

Thank you to Jessica who really helped us when we were without a place to stay in a storm. She was friendly and helpful and the cabin is gorgeous! We even had a little fox friend come and say hi. Highly recommended and will be back when we have the chance.

We loved our stay! The cabin was very clean and beautiful. Very spacious. Its in a super peaceful quiet location with UTV access right from the house. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend.

Very nice and inviting home. Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Great TV and super comfortable furniture. Beds were welcoming and afforded a great night sleep. Kitchen was well stocked and designed with all top of the line appliances and utensils. Everything looked new. Large landscaped yard with fire pit. Town and restaurants were in easy walking distance. The host was responsive and very easy to work with. This is one of the best rentals I ever had. Would definitely stay here again.
