Holiday rentals in Solaris

We loved staying here! It jad everything you could need and it was perfect for the 2 of us. The king size bed was one of the best we have slept in any airbnb! Theee was a wonderful kitchen area with a fridge and freezer! She had everything you could ever need plus snacks! Good coffee too! We also were just a few blocks from the Tip Top restaurant for breakfast. We plan to come back here in the future. If you are thinking of a hotel, do not hesitate to change tonthis airbnb!

We had an amazing stay at Eastham Guesthouse! The space was beautiful, clean, exactly as pictured and the rock floor shower was spectacular! The electric fireplace was an added bonus. It was beautiful to sit in front of in the evening! Our hosts were great! They were extremely accommodating and quick to respond to questions. Thanks so much for sharing this fabulous little hideaway with us!!!

Staying at Kevin's place was a joy!! Decorated with such interesting art and kitchen privileges provided all that was needed and then some... Would highly recommend this host and his accommodations. Will be back when in C'ville again... Thanks Kevin. Barbara Grove

My partner and I stayed here on part of our trip to Virginia to explore Shenandoah. Having this space as a “home base” to start and end our days was so very peaceful. The property is beautiful, the hosts are kind, and it really is a special place.

It was our family's first time renting an Airbnb, which turned out to be absolutely fantastic. Eric and Lindsay, the hosts, made the experience seamless. They were very responsive, friendly, and went out of their way to provide anything we needed. Their home was beautiful, warming, comfortable, peaceful, tranquil and clean. If you're looking for those qualities this home is for you. We made a great choice and so will you.

Such a warm welcome from our hostess, Wendy! Her place had everything we needed, plus more. She provided us a dozen farm fresh eggs from her 6 chickens 🐓 - so yummy! She provided cookies, wine, and lots of snacks too 😊. Her home is super cozy and spotless! Communication with Wendy was super easy. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure from the shower was excellent. I got to enjoy a beautiful sunset in front of our Airbnb while sitting on a swing. Her garden & deck had lovely flowers and vegetables. We had a family wedding to attend at Guildford Farm. Wendy’s Airbnb was only a 10 minutes walk to the venue - so easy! We had our 15 year old Yorkie-poo with us and she settled in after a few hours. We got to meet her husband, Ron - such a nice gentleman! A perfect place to stay - peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. Bonus — truly one of kindest hostess’ I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you, Wendy & Ron for hosting us!

I can’t say enough positive remarks about Kristie and her cottage! She keeps in touch if you have questions. It is an absolutely beautiful and relaxing place to spend time with family. The screened in porch is so peaceful, the beds were comfy, bathrooms and kitchen sparkly clean. Nice little coffee station with snacks. We visited Barboursville Vineyards for wine sampling and charcuterie, had yummy dinners at the Exchange Cafe just a mile from the cottage and the Mellow Mushroom (delicious pizza and Greek salad) which is about 30 minutes away near UVA campus. Went for a guided tour of Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, highly recommend a guided tour and spend as much time as you can there, lots to see. We were in town from Michigan for my son’s Masters graduation from UVA. It worked out perfectly, an easy 30 minute drive to campus. Hope to come back out to this area again and would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful overnight stay with Virginia and her 2 adorable dachshunds at their charming cottage/gardens in Orange. Southern hospitality at its best! :) I was in the area for a special wedding nearby, and Virginia and her doggies made my experience extra delightful. From hello to goodbye, they made me feel like an honored guest and also right at home. Virginia was warmly welcoming, hospitable, considerate, gracious and also accommodating, e.g., re: my changing plans and adjusted timings. The upstairs suite where I stayed was impeccably clean and neat, up to date (yet homey) and supremely comfortable, incl. a new, in-window AC (that she'd thoughtfully turned on for me, in advance), a terrific white noise machine, beautiful comforter, fresh towels, bottled water in the fridge, and much more. Soon after departing, I glimpsed a stunning expanse of the Blue Ridge Mountains -- it was "almost Heaven". I'd be so happy to be hosted by dear Virginia & her doggies again some day. :)
