Der Garten von Gioacchino ist ein kleines Paradies. Sowohl für unsere Tochter als auch für uns war es spannend und schön, die Früchte zu entdecken und reifes Obst und Gemüse zu ernten und zu essen. Morgens ging es zum Hühnerstall, abends haben wir den Bio-Müll zu den Schweinen gebracht. Dazwischen ging es in den Pool oder zum Spielplatz. Das Haus ist gut durchdacht – es ist alles da, was man braucht. Und ein bisschen mehr (Zitronenpresse, Pürierstab etc.) Fußläufig ist ein toller Obststand, an dem man auch Backwaren kaufen kann. Ein paar Meter weiter ist der öffentliche Strand. Der ist leider voll und nicht sauber. Der Strand im Naturgebiet ist eher zu empfehlen. Dafür muss man aber einen Fußmarsch in Kauf nehmen. Der lohnt sich aber. Lido di Noto, Noto und die umliegenden Städtchen sind tolle Urlaubsorte und das Haus von Gioacchino eine Empfehlung. Er selbst ist sehr freundlich und kann stolz auf das sein, was er dort geschaffen hat. Danke nochmal für den Honig und die Papaya!

A beautiful location- wonderful gardens overlooking the sea and totally private. Fantastic. Well provided house with lots of added touches. Great communication with the host.

This was our second visit and we found it to be the perfect stylish get away. There were some improvements since our last visit including upgraded bathrooms which were greatly appreciated. Once again we found the view from the pool itself to be endlessly fascinating and deeply relaxing. Thank you for hosting us with so much kindness and warmth and making our stay perfect.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt bei Saro! Die Unterkunft war sogar noch schöner als auf den Fotos – ein echtes Juwel. Der Strand ist nur etwa 500 Schritte entfernt, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm macht. Saro ist einer der besten Gastgeber, die wir auf unseren Reisen erlebt haben. Er war stets erreichbar, freundlich und hat alles getan, um unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten – sei es mit Tipps, Ausflugsangeboten oder anderen Wünschen. Die Küche war hervorragend ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts – alles, was man brauchte, war vorhanden. Ein besonderes Highlight war der köstliche Kuchen, der uns in der Küche vorgefunden hat. Wir können diese Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen! Für alle, die mehr als nur Strandurlaub machen möchten, empfehlen wir unbedingt ein Auto zu mieten, da man so die Umgebung noch besser erkunden kann. Vielen Dank, Saro, für die tolle Gastfreundschaft! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in de villa van Mark. Bij aankomst werden we warm ontvangen en kregen we een indrukwekkende rondleiding langs zijn paardenbedrijf. Mark is zichtbaar gepassioneerd en zorgt fantastisch voor zijn paarden. Het was bijzonder om een kijkje te krijgen in de training en verzorging van de dieren. Vlakbij het huisje heeft Mark ook geiten en onze zoon van 1 jaar vond het fantastisch om hier naartoe te gaan. De villa was schoon, comfortabel en compleet uitgerust – inclusief een fijn zwembad en voldoende koffie 😀! Mark was flexibel met in- en uitchecken en dacht fijn met ons mee. Super als je met een kleintje reist! Deze accomodatie is een aanrader voor wie houdt van rust, natuur en een vleugje paardenliefde!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful villa. The pool was spectacular. The gardens are gorgeous, reminded us of Southern California, and filled with boganvilla, orange trees, palm trees and other beautiful foliage. The pictures don’t do justice to this home. This was the respite from a busy life we so craved. And Fabio, the host, was amazing … responsive and predictive of our every need. We strongly recommend it.

The whole team were really helpful and responsive. The villa and especially the garden are fantastic, as is the town of Scicli. The sound proofing between the two bedrooms isn’t good which is just something to be aware of if you value your privacy. Overall I would definitely recommend this villa!

Notre meilleure expérience sur airbnb ! L'emplacement est fabuleux avec la vue sur la baie et l'Etna comme toile de fond. Les hôtes nous avaient préparé des bouteilles d'eau, du lait, des confitures et une bouteille de vin pour notre arrivée. Ils nous ont fourni plein d'informations sur les environs et les bons restaurants. Erico s'informait régulièrement de nous et nous a même permis d'utiliser son stationnement dans le centre de Catane pour notre journée de visite. Sabrina et Erico sont des personnes chaleureuses et accueillantes qui font des hôtes formidables. Nous recommandons très chaudement !

Our stay at this villa in Sicily was nothing short of exceptional. With 14 of us, we were at full capacity, yet the space never felt cramped. There were 2 to each bedroom where we could retreat to, and the communal areas—especially the indoor dining area and expansive outdoor space—were ideal for relaxing and gathering as a group. The villa offered the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. It felt like an authentic Sicilian experience, without sacrificing any of the amenities we needed. The views were breath-taking, the facilities top-notch, and every detail seemed thoughtfully considered. What truly elevated our stay, though, were the hosts, Alessandra and Toni. I usually prefer a more hands-off approach, but they struck the perfect balance—always available, attentive, and incredibly supportive, without ever being intrusive. Their warmth and care added a personal touch that made all the difference. We truly struck gold with this villa & it’s amazing hosts.

Het verblijf was perfect. Een schitterende en rustige plek. Vanaf deze locatie was het ideaal om uitstapjes te ondernemen. De plek zelf was perfect en kwam overeen met de advertentie. DE communicatie met Corado was uitstekend. Hij reageerde snel. Er waren ook fietsen aanwezig die je kon gebruiken om naar het strand te gaan. De plek is echt een aanrader om vanuit hier Noto en Siracuse te ontdekken. Ook Avolo had een aantal leuke restaurantjes.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem schönen Ferienhaus auf Sizilien! Die Außenanlage ist wirklich ein kleines Paradies – eine grüne Oase mit viel Platz zum Entspannen, Spielen und natürlich dem tollen Pool, den wir alle sehr genossen haben. Unsere Kinder waren begeistert, und auch wir Erwachsenen konnten herrlich abschalten. Das Haus selbst ist gut geeignet für eine Familie mit zwei Kindern – alles war sauber und funktional. Die Küche ist funktional ausgestattet, aber da wir meist auswärts essen waren (was auf Sizilien sowieso ein Genuss ist!), hat uns das nicht gestört. Insgesamt haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Auszeit!

This is a great villa with sensational views. Well equipped and clean. The road to the villa is narrow so best for those with a modest sized vehicle but the views at the end are worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and interacting with our host.

Wonderful villa just outside the beautiful town of Modica. Ideal location for visiting the spectacular baroque architecture of Modica, Ragusa and Noto, and within a reasonable distance from sandy beaches. The villa is exceptionally well equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained by Georgio who lives next door. We loved sitting outside and eating at the traditional ceramic Sicilian table and appreciated the various shady seating areas around the house and gardens. The swimming pool is a highlight and is kept clean and very well maintained by Georgio. Many thanks to Jennifer and Georgio for a wonderful week’s holiday.

My family and I (9 persons) had a great time in Modica. The place is amazing, with the separate kitchen and the 3 houses. Also the garden and the swimming pool are great. Sofia was very kind and helpfull during our stay. We would recommend this place!!

Smuk bolig både inde og ude. Her får man virkelig et personligt hjem med fine detaljer som samtidig var indbydende som gæst. Meget smuk og hyggelig have som man kan fornemme bliver passet godt. Mange frugttræer og de lækreste citroner lige til at plukke til madlavningen. Super venlige værter som altid var behjælpelige. Vi manglede ikke noget. Vi vil helt klart vende tilbage.

We spent a great week in Angelo’s villa with 3 other couples and 3 kids (one 5 years old and 2 babies). It was the last week of October but the weather was amazing and we could enjoy the pool everyday (the water was of course a bit chilly but still ok) as well as the heated jacuzzi. The villa is an amazing renovation and offers a big living room with enough space for everyone. Angelo is a very nice host: always very responsive and helpful. He was also very flexible with the arrival and departure time. The location is also perfect to enjoy Scicli, the beach and the surroundings (Noto, Raguse,..). Apparently we were the last guests of the season and some renovations will be done. For instance the bathrooms and some doors need to be maintained. The poor sound insulation between the floors and the creaking stairs were a bit annoying, but nevertheless we had a great time and we totally recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay in Giovannas Place SO MUCH! A real treasure! We definitely plan to come back next year ❤️ thanks again for everything. 10 out of 10 !!!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dieser Unterkunft! Die Lage war super ruhig und ideal, um sich zu entspannen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war ebenfalls einwandfrei. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Giovanni’s place is very nice and well-appointed. Giovanni and his wife Jenny were very prompt in helping us with some issues we had at home. I strongly recommend this place but preferably during the spring/summer season.

Pictures cannot really reflect how beautiful this place is! The amazing view from the large terrace shows all the beauty of the rich Sicilian landscape: the sunrise from the sea, Etna with its clouds and always present smoke trace, the cow bells as the only sound you hear …. The house and the garden are made with love and are a perfect place to stay! Many places to visit are within a short drive - great location that allows you full privacy as well as many sight-seeing possibilities. What makes you feel at home from the first moment - are the very welcoming and kind hosts, Grazia and Antonio. They thought of everything when preparing the house for us. They are always available for answering questions and help. Great suggestions for places to see and to eat. Thank you for everything Grazia and Antonio!

Our stay at Simona's Sicilian farmhouse was simply perfect. The beautiful house and its serene setting offered ultimate comfort and everything we needed for a truly relaxing break. I adored cooking in the traditional kitchen, unwinding on the balconies with stunning sunsets, lounging by the pool, and strolling through the orange groves. Time seemed to slow down, providing the much-needed escape we craved. Simona was an exceptional host – the most helpful and personable we've encountered, always there when we needed her. We only wish we could have stayed longer! I wholeheartedly recommend this charming farmhouse for anyone seeking a genuine, tranquil base to explore authentic Sicily.

the cottage was amazing. interesting architectural details. nice little kitchenette that we were able to use. It has a washer for clothes which we desperately needed. It doesn't have a dryer though so we had to air dry our clothes. The pool was wonderful and we used it each afternoon after our morning trips to Siracusa, Noto, Modica and Ragusa. The Location is a little remote. You definitely need a car if you are staying here. we were able to find good restaurants in Scicli, Donalucata and Marina di Ragusa which were all within a 10 to 20 minute drive. Overall a wonderful experience with a laid back vibe that we really enjoyed.

We loved our stay at this beautiful villa! The view and gardens are stunning, it is incredibly peaceful. There are two pools which are fantastic. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. You will need a car if you are staying here as there are no restaurants walkable but that is why it feels so peaceful! The hosts are so lovely and very attentive on the phone. I honestly cannot recommend staying here highly enough!

The photos are bang on, this place is amazing. The pool is great and the views are beautiful. It’s really well run, Marion responded to all our messages immediately and was really helpful. We followed up on quite a few of the recommendations and they were all worth it. We were 5 adults (2 codgers, 3 young’uns) and there was plenty of room. We rented a car and I reckon you probably need one, I wouldn’t fancy the walk from Noto (which is stunning) after dark on tight windy roads. Great holiday in a lovely part of Sicily.
