Cottage holiday rentals in Solares

Highly recommended. We spent two nights, a group of 8 friends. The house is beautiful, spacious, cozy, tastefully decorated, has all the details. We were very pleased, and looking forward to repeating.

The house is perfect for groups, very spacious and with everything you need to spend a few days. It is also close to many beautiful villages and routes. 100% recommended.

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage. The very well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi and swimming pool very well cared for, and the neighbor's dog is very friendly. There are amazing landscapes around the area (we went to a beautiful waterfall). But above all, I would highlight the kindness and good communication with Veronica, she was very flexible and she was attentive to us when we needed it for punctual issues. ☺️ We would definitely repeat in this dream house ❤️ Thank you!!!

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. A very nice house, close to the beach and a large garden with a barbecue of 10, as shown in the photos. Thank you to Ismael for her kindness and because at all times she was attentive to what was needed!!!

Great place and very accommodating

The house is great both for spending the weekend without leaving it and for taking walks in the area. Reinosa and supermarkets are very close by. Salomé could not have been more attentive to us, she helped us with everything and took care of us. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much for everything.

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! It was a great stay, the house with everything you need and super cozy. Very quiet area to enjoy nature, in a spectacular and focused environment to visit any point of Cantabria. Israel was very friendly, she gave us places to go and eat. I tip the towel and blanket for our little dog. Thank you for everything, luxury vacation!

Great stay, the house is wonderful with all the amenities and the perfect exterior... the pool, BBQ, everything in general is great. Olaf was very kind from the first moment, he explained everything great. We went with our dog and were very well received with little gifts for him, a drinking fountain and everything!! The only thing is the noise from the road during the day, then at night there is not so much movement...but the area is super quiet and very close to the entire coast and surrounding villages.

The house is very spacious, modern and with all amenities. There is space left over for 9 people. The area is very quiet with beautiful views. It is in a valley that has a very nice car route. Next door is a farm and they let the kids see how they milked the cows. Emelina was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it and will repeat if I go back to this area.

The house is exactly as shown in the photos, no surprises or disappointments. Access was very easy thanks to the clear directions, and the setting is perfect: quiet, private and very pleasant. Cesar was an exceptional host, always attentive and willing to help. We made the stay a lot easier by allowing us to check in early and check out later, something we greatly appreciated traveling with a baby. A great experience, we would definitely repeat. Highly recommended!

The house was impeccable, with everything you need to feel comfortable. The environment is beautiful, there is a lot of peace and tranquility, and it has spectacular views. Laura, the hostess, was attentive to whether we needed anything, and left us some sobaos and quesada as a welcome. We went with family and friends to spend the weekend and we wanted to spend more days there. In short, we felt right at home.

This charming studio cabin is situated in the foothills of Cambria . Beaches are really close by 10 - 25 minutes , great to explore the coastline especially east of Santander . Nice restaurants by the coast but we found the best restaurant serving high quality Spanish food just down the road in Suesa called « bonabo » so friendly , but the homemade food was just so good. The cabin is basic but well situated. Shower and toilet very small. The garden surrounding is excellent for dogs, there are animals in the fields surrounding the cabin, our dog wasn’t worried about them and didn’t worry them. A lovely little place to go.

We had a weekend with the family for Grandpa's birthday and we were all delighted. The surroundings are gorgeous with those green mountains and next to the forest trees, we enjoyed both the back patio and the front porch, we dined in the kitchen that it has fully equipped and comfortable. House equipped with barbecue and firewood that we enjoy a lot. Very comfortable beds and pillows, we sleep great. The upstairs bedroom room has some belux on the ceiling that we forgot to see if they could be closed before bed, it's a matter of asking. It has a magnifying glass and other nearby supermarkets where we bought what we had forgotten. We would definitely repeat

Julia was the perfect host. Very helpful. The house is beautiful in every aspect and immaculate. We liked that it is private but within easy walking distance to Selaya. Highly recommend both Julia and her house.

A house with a lot of character with a nice garden next to a small river . Close to Liérganes and driving distance to the beaches and Santander. Marta is a welcoming and helpful host. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a great few days as a family. The cabin is very cozy and the warmth of the fireplace took our comfort to the highest level. Jose is an excellent affitrion, we were able to count on him whenever we need him. He is also a great connoisseur of the area, he recommended activities and places to visit in the surroundings. The surroundings are spectacular, beautiful. Thank you very much Jose. We will be back!

A very well-kept house with a beautiful garden. There was room for everyone and we were able to have a very quiet weekend. The host Teodoro was very friendly and there was no problem getting in or out of the house.

The chalet of María Luz is very cozy and well equipped and well equipped. It is very nicely decorated and you feel right at home. The only weaknesses were the somewhat noisy street and the somewhat unreliable wifi. But the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend the place.

We have just enjoyed a lovely two night stay in David's charming home. It is accessed via an electric gate so feels very secure. The house sits in a lovely garden with fruit trees and good outdoor furniture for dining and relaxing. The views out are lovely. There is house close by next door, but you wouldn't know it, and it feels very private. The large living room is double height and so feels very light, bright and airy. The large sofa is very comfortable for watching TV in the evening, although the TV could be much bigger. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and has a good sized fridge/freezer. The double bedroom has a nice view out over nature and the shower room functions well. Comillas is veey close and it was easy to park in the centre and easy to access the coast, but lovely to return to this rural home in the evening. Communication with David was good. We would happily stay here again if we return to this area. Thank you David
