Everything worked smoothly, accomodation clean and quiet

Our family of 3 had a wonderful week. The house is quiet, spacious, and beautiful. Lake Mälaren was just a couple of minutes walk from the door. Our 9 year-old enjoyed the trampoline in the back garden, braving a swim from the private jetty, and regularly seeing deer and horses nearby. We also enjoyed the guitar, because we could play it outside with nobody close enough to be annoyed by it! For somewhere that feels remote, it was easy to drive to Stockholm (1 hour). There’s an old steamboat that picks up from another jetty less than 10 minutes walk from the house, which took us to the pretty town of Mariefred. We also had an afternoon in a canoe on another lake, about 40 mins away, which we’d highly recommend. (Search 'kanotkungen sedan 1975'.) Jennifer was the perfect host — generous and excellent at communication. She met us on arrival, showed us around the house, and shared lots of great tips for places to visit, things to do, and where to get great cakes and food.

Beautiful house in a quiet neighbourhood but close enough to the tunnel bana (metro) to get easily into Stockholm. However it is also possible to stay local and to just spend a sunny day at the lake. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very good host. We can highly recommend staying there.

We had a great stay! The house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing staycation. It was clean, and well-equipped. The host was very responsive and accommodating, which made the experience even smoother. One thing to note is that the photos on the listing seem a bit outdated, however, this turned out to be a pleasant surprise, as many parts of the house were actually better than expected! It looks like some thoughtful changes have been made since the photos were taken. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others! 😄

We had a super nice time from the first minute we arrived at Mikael's well-kept and clean house. The location was just fantastic, the house is very quiet and you can do a lot in the area. Stockholm is also super accessible by train in a short time! Conclusion: a super cozy, great house and I'm sure we'll be back ☺️

Ekerö Linus' place in Ekerö is highly recommended. The quiet location and the immediate proximity to Stockholm are unbeatable. We immediately felt at home. Checkin was arranged in advance, house rules were clearly communicated and photoristically underpinned. It is a very modern villa, but because the windows are floor-to-ceiling and pulling through the whole house, you feel in the middle of the nature. Fantastic!! More often deer came into the garden and the beaver lives on the lake downstairs in the village. Linus has made suggestions on what to do. We just managed a fraction of it, hiking, all water sports, castles, museums, etc. A lot is possible. To Drottingholm to the residence of the royal family only 10 min. By car. This villa invites you to feel good. We are for this great living experience. Family Schiebeck

The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood and that makes us feel right at home. I think this house is really what Airbnb is all about: people who make their own home available to others. It was very fully furnished and we were able to make good use of all the spaces inside and outside. What a lovely terrace. And from Katrineholm, for example, Stockholm was very easy to reach. Andreas was very quick and friendly in communicating.

It was a perfect vacation! The amenities of the house are of very high quality, individual, tasteful and modern. Wi-Fi throughout the house, including the outdoor area. The size of the house and architecture leaves nothing to be desired. We enjoyed the lake view and beautiful sunsets. The conservatory at the jetty also had a special charm. Kayaking on the calm untouched lake was a nice sporting activity. The furniture and decoration in all rooms and patio furniture were new to luxurious. The view from the hot tub over the lake is priceless! Magnus responds to every message in the shortest possible time. We were able to charge our car for free on the two parking spaces including Wallbox. Stockholm is easily accessible in just 30 minutes by car. We can recommend this house without reservation and with conviction. Thanks to Pia and Magnus for this great time!!!

Our stay at Johan's was incredible! We felt so at home in his lovely house. Johan was the perfect host, offering recommendations, quick responses to questions and making us feel welcome and accommodated. Highly recommend this place if you are wanting a peaceful setting in a lovely home!

Whatan amazing home! It is even better than on the pictures. The house is in perfect condition, so lovely and very quiet. Perfect interieur, technic and all you may wish for a relaxing stay. In all there is the main house with living area, open kitchen and dining area, a small office and two bedrooms. Two more guest houses and the gym are separatly. The view from the living area is more than beautiful. Communication with Theresa and Dennis at its best. Highly recommended and we will love to come back!

We held a company retreat and conference here, and it was fantastic! The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped—perfect for both work and relaxation. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the multiple bathrooms were a major convenience for a group of our size. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for a large group including both gas and charcoal grills. The peaceful, private location with sea views and large grounds made for great team-building activities like kubb and disc golf. One of the highlights was the wood-fired sauna and the private bathing jetty, which offered a unique and refreshing way to unwind after our sessions. The property also had several cozy spots for informal discussions or quiet reflection. Cristian was a great host, and made sure we felt welcomed. We highly recommend this property for company retreats, workshops, or any group gathering that values comfort, privacy, and a beautiful setting. We’d be happy to return!

Nestled in the heart of the forest, it offers a true escape from the hustle and bustle, yet it’s only 45 minutes from Stockholm. The setting is peaceful, rejuvenating… a real delight! Wendela and Peter are exceptional hosts: highly responsive, always available, and incredibly kind. They thought of everything to make our stay perfect, leaving us thoughtful treats and local specialties to discover. The house was impeccably clean, which made settling in even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for an exceptional place that combines nature, comfort, and perfect hospitality, look no further—this is the place to be! Great house. Lovely and quiet surroundings. Everything was fresh and everything worked properly. Pool and sauna was the icing on the cake. Svante was accommodating, helpful and nice!

We had a wonderful time staying in Jannike's beautiful home. She and Tim were incredibly helpful and responsive with any issues we had, such as items we'd forgotten to pack or how to work appliances. The house is gorgeous - very comfortable and flexible for lots of guests, with plenty of space to spread out. The directions were particularly good, it could not have been clearer. The location is ideal: remote enough to feel you are on holiday (with a beautiful view) but only a thirty minute drive to Brommaplan where we parked and easily caught the metro into Stockholm. All in all we had a really wonderful week and fell in love with Sweden.

A very high-quality equipped and beautifully furnished house. The hot tub is also great. Simon was always easily accessible and helpful. We had a great time, have nothing to complain about and are very satisfied!

We are a family with three children who spent two amazing weeks in this pleasant house. Large and lovely garden with trampoline, sandbox and swing. Perfect if you have children! Then we must not forget the lovely pool that we took advantage of every day! The house was perfect for us who have a small 1.5 year old with both high chair and cot as well as a room with lots of toys. It was clean and you felt at home. The host was very nice and always responded quickly to our questions. We also appreciated that it was close to the grocery store and beach. Highly recommend this place !

We really had a fantastic weekend in this nice house. Well-equipped kitchen, cozy social areas both inside and outside and a lovely pool! Hope to be able to come back, but then with the family ☀️

Jens and Caroline are really top hosts. What a wonderful time we had in their home. The house has all the comforts and has plenty of space! The garden is a dream. A nice playhouse and trampoline for the children, but above all the swimming pool (and adjacent sauna) are great. The kids played in the pool for hours. Truly a gift! We ended up just leaving for a trip to Stockholm. The direct connection there (with public transportation) is great! But the house was so nice, we didn't have to leave. Our kids said, "we do understand that this is their dream home!"

This house is just amazing! Such a great location, really nice view and super modern and tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable! The pool was very pleasant. I would love to come back here with my family anytime. Frederika was extremely helpful as a hostess and very easy to reach! Thank you for everything!

The house and pool are very nice. We found a good running route and the parking lot at Stora Mossen Tunnelbana was also a good tip for our excursions to Stockholm. After that, we were able to relax excellently in a quiet environment.

After 2 weeks of traveling through Sweden, we enjoyed a week in Nynäshamn at this great villa. The decor was great and inspiring. The house is very large and each of the children had their own room. We spent most of our time on the large terrace. There is also the possibility for fitness with dumbbells :-). We received many tips from Helen and Niclas for excursions and restaurants. We recommend renting a kayak at Lövhagen for a nice tour in the archipelago. Also recommended in the Ute Express from Nynäshamn to Alö or Utö - if necessary, rent bicycles there. The house is highly recommended and we really appreciated the hospitality there.
