TerraStay Farm Cabin 3: in Saxapahaw, 1/2 mi walk!

Promotions and events can be found on our website. TerraStay Farm offers sunrise-facing cottages in Saxapahaw within walking distance of the Haw River and all of Saxpahaw. The cottage is furnished with a queen bed with comfy linens (680-800 thread count), handmade furnishings, hickory hardwoods, a table for 4, a loveseat, a coffee table, and a kitchenette. French press & fresh coffee is provided. We are permitted up to four guests. There are up to 2 rollaway twins available upon request, FCFS.

The Yurt at Frog Pond Farm

Our yurt (30' dia.) is rustic, beautiful, quiet, in deep woods with deck overlooking pond. Great for couples, small families (not childproof). Includes hot tub & Poetry Walk. Beds are futons. It's warm June-Aug. (no A/C, plenty fans), but way cooler than the city. It's cold Nov.-March (wood stove heat). Mini-fridge & microwave (no kitchen/plumbing). Parking and the bath-house are 2-min. walks (toilet, sink, shower). Two minutes to Saxapahaw. Read description for more info. NO PARTIES. No dogs.

The peaceful retreat, designed for adults only, is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. Cozy Off-Grid Skoolie @ Cane Creek Farm

This purple bus sits in a small meadow surrounded by old cedar trees in the middle of and overlooking our gorgeous pastures and big dutch barn full of animals and activity. 🌿 The Vibe: Think rustic cabin meets open-road living. Minutes from restaurants/shopping, this cozy cottage sits in front of a working goat farm while maintaining a private entrance/yard. Handicapped friendly, incl. paved drive, wide doorways, zero entry shower, no stairs. Modern amenities. 16x80 Dog Run. Built in the 1930's from a Rehoboth Beach cabin design; the "Clubhouse" was built for out-of-town city guests to get a little peace and quiet in rural NC. Newly refurbished, family friendly, with plenty of forested land for exploring, camper/trailer parking and fenced pasture with water. Free wi-fi. Pets welcome - two pet limit. Pasture may be suitable to horses who won't jump the fence and can get along with 3-4 heifers.
