We really enjoyed staying at Karen’s place. Its location is great; right next to one of Drachten’s best pizzerias! The room is excellently appointed, with a great bathroom (towel heater!). Well decorated. Bed is Queen sized and quite comfortable. We stayed in 2 of Karen’s places (they were right next to each other in the same building) and both were identical. I’d recommend staying here. It’s great for a couple. We had our 8yo with us as well, and for 3 people it’s a little tight but still doable. I recommend staying here.

We took a short vacation in Ulbe's place as a group & were very satisfied! The area is nice and quiet, the house has plenty of space and everything you need, besides, it was very tidy. Ulbe was very friendly and welcomed us very nicely and equipped with a lot of information about the region. We felt very comfortable and had a nice time there. Thank you!

We really enjoyed it here. The apartment is even bigger than it looks in the photos. You wake up in the morning with a view of the fields, and with a little luck you can even see a few cows walking past the window. The apartment leaves nothing to be desired. In the kitchen, for example, all the necessary things are available. You can quickly get into traditional costumes to make purchases. Groningen can be reached in about half an hour by car for a wonderful excursion. The highlight for us was the cows and alpacas in the front yard. Geert and his wife are so kind and accommodating. You feel right at home without them being intrusive. We are thrilled with our stay and highly recommend this accommodation.

We loved staying at this house. The host was very responsive and was able to accommodate us at very short notice. The house was cleaned well and we loved the amount of space we had. The centre of Drachten is just 5 minutes away, and parking is a breeze; there’s always a spot available. The house has everything you might need, the kitchen is very well equipped. While the house isn’t overly furnished or very luxuriously decorated, it has the most comfortable king sized bed we have found in any short term rental home in Drachten. It’s super comfortable! We’d gladly stay in this house again.

Great stay, no complaints.

The two of us spent three days in Yoeri's beautiful holiday home and felt very comfortable there. We liked both the house and the garden and there was everything we needed. We booked sheets and towels so we didn't need to bring them. One day we rented a boat in the boat rental of the holiday park and explored the surrounding waters. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great time - Maurits and Anke were really quick in responding to questions. The studio is really cozy and has everything needed for our three nights (if one would want to cook, it would be possible). We were welcomed by lovely Friesian cookies, always an highlight! We went for a day trip to Schiermoonnikoog which we can highly recommend!

Johan and Karine were very welcoming and helpful. They make their place home "away from home" for their guests. Very responsive hosts and they are always willing to help. I enjoyed my stay, especially when visited Johan's farm where I took some amazing photographs. Would definitely recommend this place!

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

On first impression, we were super impressed with the apartment as soon as we walked in. The place was very well supplied and very well decorated and inviting. We loved the big windows and with being on the second floor, we had wonderful views of the canal and all the activity in the area. The restaurants we went to were all excellent, especially Pompeii’s. Be sure to bring ear plugs as the noise from outside carries right into the apartment. We both commented that this apartment would be a place we’d be happy living in long term.

Ellen and Jaap were lovely hosts, we had an incredible stay at their place! It was so creatively and artistically decorated, and I have never slept better at an Airbnb — the beds were so comfortable, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. It was awesome to have a sweet dog and cat roaming around to make us animal-lovers feel right at home :) 5/5 stars on all levels!

We greatly enjoyed this stay. It is a beautiful cottage with fantastic views. Breakfast is perfect. Furthermore, we have also experienced the contact with Jitske as very pleasant. Tips: enjoy the bubbles in the jacuzzi, rent bikes to explore the area and take a walk through the Barefoot Path! We will definitely come back 😇

A beautiful and super clean cottage with really everything you need. Also a lovely bed. Communication before and during visit was very good Lenie is very friendly and attentive.

We had a wonderful weekend at Anna's house. The communication was perfect, the location super and the house fantastic. Everything was sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. In addition, Anna and her husband are very friendly and flexible. Recommended to get to know Leeuwarden and its surroundings well.

The place was/is very lovingly decorated. The surrounding area as well! It is a very functional place to stay and my personal taste is small and cozy. Yfke was present and accommodating when needed. She just has a knack for creating a nice and friendly atmosphere. All in all, recommended if you want to treat yourself.

Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

Very nice accommodation. It was amazingly clean and it smelled good. Internet speed is ~200 Mbits, more than sufficient. Johanna was very friendly and was already waiting for us at the property. She always tried to make our stay as nice as possible. Beautiful quiet location. What should possibly be considered for the stay: The bedroom is open. There is no door or similar between the rest of the accommodation.

Perfect location close to everything with nice communication and responsive hosts

We had a great time. On the weekend it was sometimes very loud, because in the parking lot opposite many tuners met. During the week it was super quiet and we would love to come back

Tineke is a generous and careful host! Everything here is of exellent quality and in a good condition. You can live here for a year without having to buy extra things😆
