Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. In this quiet accommodation you can enjoy a view of the fjord from the living room, terrace or from the outdoor wilderness bath. Det er kun 5 min. ned til sjøen. Til Sauda er det kun 15 min. med bil. Here you will find most things, including swimming pools. Lots of opportunities for great mountain hiking and other nature experiences all year round. Svandalen Ski Center is 15 min away by car. The cabin is rented out to guests who respect that they live in our private cabin and are NOT rented out for parties and private events.

The cabin has 3 bedrooms with double beds. There is sleeping space for 6 people. The cabin is small and is best suited for a family of 4. Or 4 adult. It is large plot with good parking opportunities and outdoor activities. The cabin is centrally located as a starting point to several popular tourist attractions such as Bondhusvatnet, Trolltunga and much more.

In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. Here you can enjoy the days in quiet surroundings with nature close by, either in and by the cabin or by using the fantastic nature that surrounds the cabin. The cabin is recently completely renovated and contains the living room and kitchen in one, 3 bedrooms with room for 6 - 8 people, bathroom, basement with washing machine, internet and TV. It is easy access by car all the way to the doorstep.

Unfortunately, we were just passing through, so I can't say much at all. Everything worked out so far. The house is on the second row on the fjord, you might want to mention that. However, there is a beach nearby for swimming. Sandra was kind and quick to respond.

Our family had a wonderful weekend in the cabin! The sea view was absolutely perfect – even better than expected. There was so much space around the cabin, and we really enjoyed playing ball and darts outside. We were lucky to have sun all day long, which made our stay even better. The cabin had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The thoughtful details and interior design made the cabin feel very cozy and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would love to come back again! 🥰 We would love to come back again!

We had some lovely days! Jan Einar is a very friendly and welcoming host who made us feel at home. The kids enjoyed fishing on the lake together with him! The view from the cabin is fantastic. In short, a lovely stay!

Beautifully located cabin in a quiet location. We felt right at home and recovered really well. The cabin is very tasteful and cozy. Everything we needed for 14 days. The garden with plenty of seating invited you to linger. Marianne had many very good tips on what we could do in the area and beyond. We will be happy to come back.

Spacious kitchen and living room, everything needed was available. Nice view over Skanevik fjord. We also did the roadtrip suggested by Frode, it was very scenic and beautiful.
