Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sivas

We spent 2 weeks in the wonderful house. The property is very well equipped. Everything is also very neat and clean. The outdoor area is also generously designed. Numerous sun loungers, but also plenty of shaded areas in the heat. The hammock is an excellent place to relax. Surrounded by olive trees, the house is quiet. Pure nature. Upon our arrival, we found fresh fruit and even a homemade cake. The location is great for the southern part of the island. However, as is the case everywhere in Crete, a rental car is necessary. A good bakery is 800 m away. A large supermarket is 5 minutes away by car. Matala about 20 minutes. Communication with the host was problem-free. We got helpful tips. A great stay. We enjoyed the time very much. Gladly again at any time.

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

May 2025, 10 nights stay for three (2 adults, 1 toddler). Villa is really fantastic. Beautiful view of the sea and the bay. It offers plenty of space for more people (2 couples, 4-6 friends, 2 families) and for longer stays (storage space, cupboards and shelves, etc.). The furnishings correspond to the description and offer, even in the kitchen, everything you need. Our highlight was the covered terrace. Our flight was moved up at short notice. A significantly earlier check-in was no problem at all in our case. Stelios is a very friendly, helpful and dedicated host. We recommend him and his villa without reservation. Small restriction: the accommodation is a bit off the beaten track or the region is a bit scattered (mainly due to the geography of the terrain). Without your own car, it will be a bit difficult in our opinion. However, there is a free parking space directly at the house.

The location is special, we celebrated it. Beautifully located. Totally quiet and a little off the beaten path. We were feeling absolutely safe. The local restaurants were just open at the beginning of May - it's village-like. Car is necessary. The prices fair, the people friendly. Visiting free-living cats. A cat has born her kittens near the accommodation and feels part of the house. The first micromarket is 5 minutes away, in Gazi (10 min) there are larger shopping opportunities. The bathroom is small and like everything about the house lovingly designed. From the height of 180 cm, the use of the toilet requires some flexibility because of the legroom. The house is a dream if you want to relax and come down.

This place is amazing! Cleopatra received us in person, with gifts for us. She introduced us to the accommodation with passion, took us to the charming little square of the village, explained the various activities and surrounding spots. the view from THE terraces is breathtaking (bird 's-eye view of the sea from the heights). the house is perfectly equipped, there is more bathroom than bedrooms. The geographical location is ideal for visiting the entire south center area of the island, which we seek calm and authenticity. for typical and cheap dishes, appointment at the Platia taverna on the small charming square of the village. Too bad we can only give 5 stars maximum! We'll come back, I promise.

Harry was super friendly and provided us with lots of useful recommendations such as places to go and things to do. He was always happy to answer any questions we had and got back to us quickly. We were able to rent a car directly from Harry, he also picked us up from the airport and drove us to the property, which we found really helpful. There is a steep driveway to the property but Harry’s car made it easy. He showed us around the lovely Airbnb on our arrival and he also dropped us back at the airport after checking out. The Airbnb itself is amazing! We loved the outdoor space with the fantastic views, lounging by the pool and cooking in the outdoor oven. It is so calm and quiet, just what we needed. The local town provides a mini market and fuel just a few minutes drive away. With decent restaurants only 5 minutes away. A large supermarket was about 20 minutes away. So you are in a secluded spot but with plenty of amenities easy to get to. Highly recommended, many thanks Harry!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for a relaxing vacation, and we really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Communication with the host was smooth and easy.

We had a very great late summer in Kanevos. The description and photos correspond to the actual events. Communication with Christos was fantastic. Very friendly and fast. The outdoor facilities are a dream and we also had many great hours in and around the house. The parents, who were partly in the upper apartment, are very nice and welcomed us warmly, provided us with specialties and tips. We would come back any time!

Elena is a nice and accommodating host. We were able to contact her at any time, got feedback very quickly and she inquired about our well-being at the property. The place is very clean, well equipped and you have your privacy. It looks exactly like the pictures. The property is very quiet. You need a car to do activities. We highly recommend the place and Elena as a host! ☺️

It was a perfect place! George and family were very hospitable! Our daughter was even allowed to play upstairs with his children! Apartment was nice, spacious and very clean! With large balconies (with a fantastic view) and a spacious garden that was perfect for our 4 year old daughter. We got lettuce, eggs, sheep's milk and olive oil from the garden. Close to the beach, nice restaurants and hiking trails. Repeatable! We enjoyed :).

We had the pleasure of staying in Rena's apartment from 26/5 to 2/6/25 and it was a fantastic experience! The apartment was as described, but the view from the terrace exceeded expectations! Unfortunately, we were unable to meet Rena in person, but she was always available for our every request. She had warned us in advance that the village market would still be closed, so we were able to stock up on groceries before arriving, but she still made sure we had everything we needed in the house (thank you again!). In the house, there is every type of useful accessory for the kitchen, but also some thoughtful touches that I have never found on other occasions! The road to reach this small village is quite winding, but we felt so good there that we only moved once. There are 2/3 beaches (where we were often alone) reachable with a nice walk in the middle of nowhere breathing the scent of oregano! We hope to be back!

It was my second time at Manolis’ place and I love it. It’s one of most magic places I know on this planet and Manoils and his parents are always very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped and the apartment very cosy and bright. Especially in autumn I like this area and the balcony because it’s very calm and relaxed - you are very near the ocean. Like last time Manolis mum prepared some dinner for me and the fridge was full of food ❤️. Unfortunately there was some strong wind during my 4 weeks there and so I had some power outages and wifi / fon connection outages. Manolis did his very best and was very helpful to get it fixed as soon as possible.

Our family had a wonderful time here. The room was perfect and spacious for our family and everything we needed. The little play set outside entertained the kids a lot and is steps from the beach and excellent restaurants. We had a wonderful time!

Stavros was fantastic, as was the history of this wonderful place. Rethymno was a beautiful town and we explored everywhere on foot. We decided on walking in the morning and then having a late lunch (each lunch was fantastic) and walking back up the hill to have a light supper on the deck at sunset. Beautiful and thank you so much for the care you put into your house to make it a wonderful experience.

A beautiful apartment from beautiful people who shared delicious gift on our arrival, the apartment itself gives a constant view of the sea and contains everything you need to feel at home, the beach in this quiet town is just steps away, as well as the pubs that are open in the warmer months. Great quiet town to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Great value for money, would definitely return.

Nikos' place is incredible. It totally transports you to another time and lets you absorb the beauty of the Cretan landscape and nature. We noticed something new every day. Having the pool with stunning views of the mountains and sea, a well-equipped kitchen and an olive tree shaded seating area to eat in, meant we rarely had to leave the place! A holiday to remember forever for us. Thank you

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

This place creatively incorporates the historic parts of an olive mill with contemporary design. It was roomy and had everything we needed, but a minor thing, body wash would have been nice. Met the owner who was very nice and gracious. Loved being able to walk to 3 different great restaurants, a market, pharmacy and close proximity to Rethymno. It is strategically located between Chania and Heraklion, too. Definitely recommended!

Lovely villa sitting in the hills outside of Rethymno City. All self contained and immaculately kept and maintained. Very responsive host who was most welcoming. Nikos and his daughter Katerina did a fantastic job responding to our needs and making us most welcome. Katerina has superb English so communication was never a problem. Would thoroughly recommend. It would also suggest you need a car to get about either down the hill to City and beaches or up the hill to mountain villages and exploring. Pool is great and outdoor space around the villa is superb. Reccomendations - we followed up on a few authentic tavernas from Katerina and they were superb. Would defo go and eat at Athivoles Taverna in Chromonastiri. Only a short drive away ie 7 km but basically the most authentic Cretan cuisine you will taste for sure. Hits were magnificent. All in all we had a great family holiday.

The house was great, clean, quiet and the view was beautiful. During our stay there were problems with the Sahara dust, without us asking for it someone came to clean the pool and outdoor area, that was great. We would choose the house again and again. However, you must be aware that there is no fixed road to the house, so an SUV is absolutely necessary.

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Great location with it only being a 15 minute drive to Rethymno centre. Great facilities at the house, the pool & hot tub are a great addition to your stay. Check-in/check-out was made super easy with great communication between all parties involved. Would 100% recommend & return in the future :)

We had a fantastic stay at this villa! The place was exactly as shown in the photos - clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The host was outstanding: always responsive, incredibly helpful, and genuinely supportive throughout our stay. They went above and beyond by providing us with great local recommendations for sightseeing and places to eat, which made our trip even more memorable.
