Within a 40min drive from Helsinki, Katve Nature Retreat is our family-owned hideout surrounded by clean and quiet nature and ashore a beautiful freshwater lake. We are also located just a few km from the sea and archipelago with great hiking and paddling opportunities. The Kaisla Cabin is one of our 4 cozy cabins (two cabins semidetached) each with a private sauna. By the lake you'll find an outdoor fireplace and a summer kitchen perfect for cooking by the fire and enjoying the sunsets.

Mökin tunnelmaa lisäävät makuuhuoneen takka ja puuhella. Mökissä on sähköt ja sähkölämmitys. Vesi kannetaan pihan porakaivosta. Ulkohuussina siisti ja ympäristöystävällinen Biolanin kompostikäymälä. A hobby room is available for eating, relaxing and working, 90 cm bed is there. No kitchen but own fridge, microwave, basic dishes, coffee maker & hot water kettle. Tv and Wi-Fi. Total area to use is appr. 30 m2. 12 km from Nuuksio Nature Park.

From the front of the house, you can take a bus to Matinkylä metro station/Iso Omena in 13 minutes.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a cow house, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.

The house is located along a fairly low traffic street, so there is little noise from traffic. The building is peaceful and has a legal smoking ban!
