Villa Cintra - Two stunning houses

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My friends and I had such an amazing time staying here. We all agreed that this experience could not be found anywhere else in the area. Due to the warm weather, we spent the majority of the time lounging and swimming in the pool. There were plenty of nice places to eat and drink nearby, including an unique medieval bar. We exclusively used Uber to get around and did not experience any problems. You get so much value for the price.

Quinta do Adagio - Casa d 'Ameixa

Staying at Ricardo’s place was great - the location is perfect for exploring the surroundings, even without a car (easy bus or Uber connections) and the garden is great to enjoy the sunshine. The hosts were very responsive and flexible. Overall a great experience!

Sintra Unique Tower

CharlesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is the absolute best setting/location. It is part of a larger private property within a VERY short walk to Castelo dos mouros from which you can easily walk to palacio Nacional. Also a quick walk down the hill to amazing food and shops. My only complaint was the hot water was not enough to fill both tubs the morning of our departure, but I enjoyed a cold plunge with a view! Thanks for the hospitality Franco!

Village House in Sintra hills

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The property is in the middle of picturesque Penedo, high up with views to the sea. Each room is designed with a lot of love for detail. The traditional style makes the little cottage very cozy and when you walk through the alleys of Penedo you discover beautiful gardens and wonderful houses everywhere.

Sanctuary in the Sintra Forest

we had a lovely time at George's place, it truly is a special property and has everything you might want for a romantic getaway! little note, as George mentions the drive up to the house is steep and can be a bit tricky to reverse back if a car comes towards you. while the house feels private and relaxing, you do have neighbouring houses and can hear cars or the neighbours around. overall a lovely stay in a house that was very beautifully designed and more spacious than it looks in the pictures and full of charm. George was a very welcoming and responsive host!! thank you

Casinha das Vinhas in Sintra's Old Town

JennyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place was so quaint. It had a well stocked kitchen comfortable bed, was very close to the train station and lots of local attractions. The personal guide was fantastic, we took their advise and had a wonderful time with both restaurants, recommendations and tourist spots. Sintra is a gem and so is this house.

Casa de Santo Antônio

Afonso was super responsive and flexible with some of our unusual needs. He made us feel at home and we had a great stay, making good use of the kitchen and the pool and sleeping well at night. My only feedback for future guests is that the entrance is a bit on the challenging side. Probably if you live in Europe and/or are used to driving back roads in Portugal, it's not a problem, and after we'd been there a few days (and learned to use the mirror to get out onto the main road) it was no big deal. But if all your prior driving experience is in the US, where roads are twice as wide as they need to be, or if you get nervous with driving in tight spaces, you might find it a bit challenging to get in and out (I wouldn't recommend arriving for the first time at night).
