Holiday rentals with a patio in Sint-genesius-rode

Zawar was pretty helpful with everything! We had some issues with the code checking in and he was very quick to respond and help out! The place was as described, very clean with comfortable beds, we got everything we needed for our stay. The Grand Place was a 20 mins walk from the airbnb which was easy to go places! The only thing that wasnt perfect was the state of the location which is not in the most beautiful/quiet place of town especially at night but it was convienient to be walking distance from the train station. I should have done more research beforehand! Still had a great time and it was a bonus to be able to do laundry after travelling for a month!

Two pleasant nights with the morning in the large, isolated, sunny garden, the layout, the modern decoration, the magnificent kitchen as well as the bathrooms, all in a large living space, the bedding and comfortable pillows, really everything was thought of for a flawless welcome. THANK YOU SUAT, good job.

We had a great time. Everything was the same as in the pictures, we felt really comfortable. The train can be reached on foot in 5 minutes and it takes around 12 minutes to get to the city. 1 min from the property there is a supermarket and a particularly nice cafe. We would come back. Communication was also very pleasant and clear.

It was a nice stay and I would probably book it again. The apartment is nice. It has everything but the washing machine. The balcony is great. The view from both the windows and the balcony is nice. The house is old and cute, but you hear your neighbours walking upstairs. The bed is good. The location is 15 min walk from the European Parliament, so it is very convenient. Yet if you want to get to the centre it is either 40 min walk or you need to change buses or metro. There is one bus stop 3 min away, but this bus does not go to the centre. You need to walk 10 min to another one. The host is very responsive and helpful.

A great apartment with easy access to both the subway and bus stops. We were heading the Expo Centre which is only 3 stops on the subway and it was easy catching the bus into the city centre. The hosts were easy to communicate with and a last minute request for the sofa bed to be supplied with linen wasn't a problem. The apartment is exactly as pictured and spotless.

What an amazing house! A very nice atmosphere, it felt to me like the house embraces you. Beautiful location, in the middle of the city and yet very quiet. Beautiful green garden. Bart is a great host. We were very kindly received. Definitely recommended if you like a house with character. I also found the story behind this house very inspiring and beautiful. Thank you Bart! Our stay was short but we would love to come back!

Nice place with lovely large garden with a nice canopy for outdoor dining and a jacuzzi. The house is also pleasant and big enough. All the comforts and clean. But for the feeling of privacy, I would have liked a hedge between both houses, for example. Although the (super friendly) hosts were not much at home, it still feels like you look in together very easily. But.. definitely enjoyed this nice place and who knows, we might come back again.

We had a perfect stay with friends! The accommodation is ideal for relaxing, with a top hot tub that has largely contributed to our well-being. Everything was clean, comfortable, and as advertised. We highly recommend it, perfect for a relaxing time with friends. Thanks again to do it again

A very nice and quiet place to relax.

We had 3 very nice days for our girls weekend! Spacious house, everything you need is present and the ponies, donkeys and cranes(?) around the house, made it that little extra special!

Good location, very well equipped kitchen and excellent communication with the owner. There was a minor issue with a socket that was sorted out right away. The bathroom is gorgeous with a deep, comfy bath and a spacious shower. The beds are very comfortable too. Walking distance to independent shops with beautiful fresh produce, lovely bakeries and plenty of cosy cafés and eateries. Rupel Sushi especially recommended. We also loved the big Saturday morning market which is well worth a visit. Mechelen is a beautiful, safe city. The tourist information is excellent. Lots of guides, maps and gorgeous postcards. Friendly, multi-lingual staff. A word of caution: there are ebikes and e- scooters everywhere. They travel at considerable speed and we had a few close calls. Take particular care when crossing road and cycle paths.

All went very well. House is very clean and well equipped with beautiful garden facing the fields. On other hand the house is close to busy road so you will hear the cars passing by.

Marie, Has a great peaceful and private spot close to all the site. She was very flexible in our check-in and offered many good restaurant suggestions. The home was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Great stay, Maïté and Peter were very welcoming. The place is like the pictures, full of charm and tastefully decorated. There is everything you need, the kitchen is very well equipped (oil, spices, etc.) The accommodation is well located within walking distance of restaurants and walking paths. As two years ago, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely experience. Olivier is a very nice and friendly host, always ready to answer our questions and easy to deal with. The apartment is impeccable and matches exactly the pictures. Everything is nice and clean, the place is in a beautiful neighbourhood. I recommend!

Guy and his wife are very relaxed and nice people. We felt welcome immediately upon greeting. There is a railway line and a busy road nearby, but due to the location of the house you do not hear anything from it: it is a small oasis of peace. Supermarkets are within walking distance, and all the beauty of the region is within easy reach. We came home completely rested.

Michèle is the sweetest person and a very thoughtful host. She was very flexible with my check-in or request to check in early. Her neighbor was even helpful. Michèle shares her home and it is a such a cool space. The large window with the flowers boxes. The birds landing outside as the sun shined in. I enjoyed my stay. I walked around the neighborhood. I’m so glad Michèle encouraged me to venture out instead of ordering in. I enjoyed the local restaurants and a bakery she recommended (get the tart with fresh raspberries 💖). I used the washer, I lounged on the sofa, I love the bedroom with the French doors. Michèle checked on me regularly during my stay, even when she found out I was feeling under the weather, she made she I felt well enough to travel. When you stay at Michele’s home, she shares so much useful info. I have notes for my next visit. As a solo female traveler, a host like Michèle is pure gold.
