House holiday rentals in Silverdale

We had an amazing stay! The cottage was just as described and in the perfect location so we hardly had to use the car at all and were able to walk to Windermere, Bowness and Brockhole with our two girls ( 13 and 8). The use of the nearby pool was an added bonus after a day in the mountains. We’ll definitely be back! 😀

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

The lodge was fabulous, really enjoyed our stay. I even picked up a couple of decor ideas. Had a lovely time feeding the ducks, swans and other wildlife, very relaxing. Shops and amenities easy to get to by car, lovely restaurants around the area. Would absolutely recommend.

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

I'd stay at Jackie's place again whenever I next visit no question. Good price, and the place is exactly as she's described. And whenever I messaged her she always responded back to me within 30mins at most which is excellent

Our family had a lovely stay at Burrowbank at the end of the summer holiday. The house is fantastic with all the facilities you could ask for. The kids loved the swings and most of all the pool, while the covered (heated) BBQ area meant evening meals outside watching the sunset. Great location and setting, very private and we would definitely come again and recommend to others. Martyn and Christine were very helpful and went the extra mile (even posting my daughter’s disposable camera that she left behind). Can’t think of any negatives and we made some great/happy memories.

We stayed for 2 nights at Delanie's property to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. The house and it's facilities are amazing. The pool Hot Tub and bar area really make this an amazing place to celebrate birthday's and the like. Warm welcome and a great hamper upon check in and always on hand for any issues. Highly recommend this place if your looking for a luxury break away. Will be looking to return in the future.

Arnside is lovely, it's a 15 minute walk from the (small) village centre with a few cafes and shops. The house was easy to find, reserved parking spot outside and quiet street (we didn't hear a peep from our neighbours). Rooms were spacious and as described.

Quite possibly the easiest air bnb to check into, absolutely immaculate and amazing location with the most stunning views!! Will 100% be returning!

We stayed in June for 4 nights as a family group of four adults for a birthday getaway and had the most wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, characterful and peaceful, absolutely immaculate on arrival and we especially loved the outdoor area with the seating and BBQ - we were blessed with warm and sunny weather so we could use it! We were very thankful to be able to bring our dogs as well and want to say an extra thank you for allowing that - great communication from host Craig. There is parking for three cars and it's only a short drive (approx 15-20mins) to Bowness - we did a boat trip from here one day. We also ate one night at the Mason's Arms down the road and had a very nice meal. Overall 10/10 from us!

This is an absolutely wonderful little house, in beautiful condition. Clean, comfortable and homely, it even has plentiful toys, games and books which our 4yo was delighted by. It's within an easy walk of Morecambe prom, Morecambe town centre, Happy Mount Park, and a fish and chip shop. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to return one day soon. Just returned from a delightful stay at this Arnside cottage with my husband and our three kids (ages 3, 7, and 9). The location is perfect—nestled right by the sea, with incredible views. Mornings were a delight, sipping coffee in bed while watching the waves dance and trains glide by. Days filled with seaside walks and local ice cream, fish and chips, and pizza from nearby eateries. Local shops have everything you need just a stone’s throw away. The cottage itself is a cozy haven. The owner was incredibly responsive, answering our questions promptly. Ah, yes, the stairs—they’re not just steep; they’re an adventure! While I approached them with the grace of a cautious mountain goat, my kids saw them as the highlight of the cottage. This cottage offers a perfect blend of relaxation, family fun, and a touch of adventure. Just remember to pack your sense of humor and perhaps a climbing harness!

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great from the start, and the home itself is absolutely beautiful, cosy, warm, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent too. Sarah, her husband, and Joey were so lovely and welcoming, and their gorgeous dog made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay, would love to come back!

We had a very restful and enjoyable stay at 32 Oversands Drive. Excellent communications with the owners throughout. Such a spacious, well-equipped and beautiful home. Felt relaxed the moment we stepped inside. The well-stocked garden, full of late summer flowers, provided a perfect spot for sitting. Great views across Morecambe Bay to the hills on the other side; you can see the weather coming and going across the great sweep of sky. Grange over Sands such a friendly place. Lovely walks along the promenade overlooking the saltmarsh and estuary, beautiful old station, plenty of independent shops. Nearby Cartmel well worth a visit. We had booked Predator Experience for our son's 21st birthday, and had a great time there, getting to know the wolves! It's also not too long a drive to the Lakes: we climbed Harter Fell and Loughrigg, visiting Coniston and Ullswater as well. A perfect holiday, made really special by having such a comfortable, spacious and welcoming place to stay. Thank you.

We stayed a week in Danes Court. It’s a spacious, characterful, and very peaceful Victorian Lodge. Well equipped with good WiFi in the main rooms and TVs in the lounge and bedrooms. It’s well equipped and comfortable, and we slept well in the king size bed. We enjoyed sitting out in the afternoons (weather permitting), enjoying the peace and quiet and flutter of the birds. Danes Court is easily accessed from a very quiet road. Kendal, Windermere, and Ambleside are all within 30 minutes drive, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants/pubs within 10-20 minutes drive through beautiful countryside.

Such a gorgeous stay away in Cumbria, the place was so tidy and cozy, it had everything you could need - so many amenities! It is located inbetween other buildings but still managed to feel very private, and had stunning views around. It is quite remote and is single track roads down to the property however the hosts were really clear and answered any questions about where we can park etc. It is also only a short drive to either Kendal or Windermere, so really convenient location for a nice day out! We can’t thank the hosts enough for such a lovely stay, would definitely recommend ☺️

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is very private with a fantastic view from the living room. Great location allowing easy access to nearby pubs and to the ferry. We were surrounded by wildlife, and particularly enjoyed seeing the family of baby rabbits hop around the cottage garden each evening.

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

We had a wonderful two-night stay! We all, including the kids, had a fantastic time. The place was peaceful and quiet. We're definitely looking forward to booking again on our next trip to the Lake District.

We loved our stay at Easter How, it was perfect for our family get together. The gardens are gorgeous and our daughter's dog enjoyed exploring all the different paths. My dad enjoyed feeding the birds so thank you for providing the food for that too! It really was a home from home, so comfortable with great facilities and in such a tranquil setting. We enjoyed walking to High Dam Tarn a couple of times too, the second time we took the easier route through the field as my parents found the steep climb tough going the first time. Justin (co-host) kept us updated and we had the added bonus of meeting him when he dropped off some coffee beans!
