Hotel holiday rentals in Sigiriya

We were very warmly received with a welcome drink (freshly prepared papaya juice). After that, we would have brought the suitcases to the room. The rooms were immaculately clean and very well maintained. 5 stars for the cleanliness of the rooms, which impressed us very much. 5 stars plus but there is for the service. We were brought cold drinks from the city on request. The good man didn't even want higher prices than the one from the store. I've never seen anything like it before. In the evening we would be served with watermelons and bananas. The good was always helpful and there for us, even when we leave at 5 in the morning always a smile on our face. I recommend this hotel to everyone!!! Thank you for everything!

What an incredible location, hosts, accommodation, and food! I need to give a special mention to Vihanga who was an amazing host and we had some amazing conversations and he helped me immensely with arranging transport for future trips, and also arranging a tuk tuk to drop and pick me up for the day. His Mother prepared an amazing dinner and breakfast (dinner was very reasonably priced too). I loved every minute of my stay - thank you! ❤️

Alba and her Partner Manolo were great hosts: always super helpfull, friendly and attentively. They gave us good advice and helped us with organizing trips to Sigiriya, Kaudulla, Dambulla and Pollonaruwa. To visit all this sites Sat Nam Village is the best place to stay! Cause after an exhausting trip you can relax perfectly in the beautiful garden in a hammock under a tree or in the brandnew pool. And don’t forget the fooood! We really enjoyed the rice and curry prepared by one of the lovely ladies who are working on the property! It was delicious. If you need some variation they also offer great Spanish food prepared by Alba herself! We totally enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back and can highly recommend Sat Nam Village for a cultural but at the same time very relaxing stay!

The breakfast was delicious and the serving sizes were generous breakfast. It is conveniently located within walking distance to Sigiriya Lion Rock. The host was super friendly and helpful. However, the photos are not accurate as they display a thick blanket on the bed and like most of the accommodation in Sri Lanka, they only provide a thin sheet. The room was spacious but a few minor additions could have made it even better such as a kettle, shower gel and a thick blanket.

Back of Beyond Pidurangala is located in the middle of a forest with a thick tree cover. Its evident the hotel has done its best to preserve the nature as much as possible. Walking distance to the pidurangala rock. Many beautiful lakes nearby, great food and friendly staff. Bikes can be rented for sight seeing. 5-stars for everything!!

Priya homestay is a little paradise on earth. It's a family business held by a kind and charming couple. The accommodation is clean and furnished with great taste. Excellent cuisine. Priya offers Excursions with his tuk tuk at unbeatable prices. The best place I've seen here. Thank you

The stay at Dushan’d and Bandula’s Winmi Resort was very nice. It was a very peaceful place. The. Place was very well kept and clean. I can recommend the place to any other guests.

place is serene and built while preserving the nature. as soon as you get down you just see green everywhere. They have a great pool with a kid area. the highlight was being able to use their kitchen to cook some meals for our picky kids.

The manager and staff were so friendly and kindly gave us information about the tourist attractions and all the surroundings. The accommodation was clean and the surrounding natural scenery was great, and the bus stop to Kandy was a minute away, so it was comfortable, and the staff showed us off to the bus stop. It gave our family a lot of happiness because we were able to stay in a very friendly and beautiful location. Thanks so much

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always making sure we felt at home. The accommodation itself is very beautiful – a real green oasis of comfort and relaxation. Located in a peaceful and idyllic area, it's the perfect place to unwind. And the food… absolutely the best! Highly recommended!

Our stay at Taru Villas was amazing, we highly recommend! The room itself (we had a chalet villa) was huge and one of the best rooms we have stayed in. Super king bed was so comfortable, with a day bed, couch and outdoor chairs to relax on as well. The bathroom is very well done, indoor/outdoor style and the shower was fantastic. The property is gorgeously set in the natural surrounds. The pool was brilliant: very large and the perfect temperature, we were just disappointed we didn't get to use it more due to the weather and having other things to see in the area! The restaurant was also lovely, great service, open air and good value with a good range of options. Overall we had a fantastic stay at Taru Villas and it was a stunning base from which to explore the area.

Sathishka was very friendly and his place was a pleasure to stay at. Breakfast was delicious and we were well looked after throughout our stay. If you’re ever looking for a place to stay that is a bit on the cheaper side, this is it.

The Naturaliza Hotel is charming, a favorite! The room we had was large, very comfortable, and we also enjoyed the garden, living room, pool and restaurant. All in a very zuthen nature environment. The staff is very attentive, responsive, friendly. For those who want a peaceful place, away from the tourist center, and living at the same time, it's perfect!

Unfortunately, we more than enjoyed our very short stay. The property is not far from local streets restaurants and Mount Sigiriya is only 10min away by car. You will be welcomed with damp cloths and drinks. Extremely attentive staff. You can get in touch with staff day or night because of any issues and everything else. The rooms are wonderful. In the middle of nature, with balcony in the green. But beware, as it is very (too) clean, there is a risk at low risk in the accommodation :D very nice complex also with pool area. We were surprised that the breakfast was included! It was wonderfully prepared with an explanation about the respective (typical Sri Lankan) products. We felt very comfortable and above all thanks to the loving, attentive employees. Thanks again for that.

A good place to stay when you are visiting sigiriya. Also the pool in the backyard was very cool 👍🏼
