Cabin holiday rentals in Sierraville

This was my family’s first stay in Lake Tahoe. The cabin was as described and very welcoming. The location was great since we wanted to stay away from South Lake Tahoe so we were close to Tahoe City, beaches and hikes. Molly was also very responsive and the kitchen was very well stocked.

My family and I spent a wonderful weekend at this cabin. Cabin was well set up, beds comfortable, many games/ equipment available for use. The hot tub and views from the deck were amazing. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the stay at Tina's place. Her house is in a quite neighborhood and very close to the sugar pine point state park. Tina provided very detailed check-in instruction and the place is well-equipped (you can even use the bikes from the shed). We had an issue with the hot water from the shower and she quickly communicated back and arranged for the fix. I recommend to stay in this place.

Super responsive after booking. Really clear instructions for access to house, as well as, things inside house. convenient location too

Scott was a terrific host! We truly enjoyed his cabin, as it was a perfect fit for our family gathering with our kids who came in a from Las Vegas to meet us, coming in from Arizona. The cabin is truly amazing and we felt right at home. Scott was very friendly and always helpful and thoughtful! I highly recommend a Scott’s place, the house is perfect and Scott is a wonderful host! We built some amazing memories with our family and can’t wait to go back!

Great place to stay with a large family and extended family members. Nicely equipped with games, toys, hot tube, patio furniture, arcade games...... just really a beautiful space. Clean and spacious. The road is a bit busy to pull out on so you have to be very careful about that.

The house nest Lake Donner is comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The interior is cozy and functional, and all essential amenities are available. The hot tub on the deck is a highlight and adds a relaxing touch to the overall experience.

100 year old cabins that have been updated. My cabin had an all new shower! Very comfy bed that seemed brand new. Everything very clean. Beautiful spot in the Feather River Canyon. Quiet except when the trains roll through up the hill— it used to be an active depot. No whistle blowing, but you can hear the rhythm of the rails. Bear in mind that this is 1920s glamping vibes. So if you prefer the Hilton in 2025, you’re not going to like it. But if you love updated old school charm, you’ll love this place. No television (what a relief) and they ask you not to overuse the internet, but plenty of outdoor activities and games, and a private beach on the river. It would be great for a family, or weekend getaway. Thanks to Doug for welcoming me and then letting me have my privacy!

We really liked this place. Rural, very scenic. The cabin is very well constructed and well maintained. Nice step-in shower. Good kitchen. Bring food. There aren’t many dining choices nearby. The trading post at Dutch Flat is surprisingly well stocked, which is a good thing because the mini-mart/gas station at the Dutch Flat off ramp is the only other place around to get provisions.

Just stayed at this beautiful AirBnB cabin—absolutely stunning! The host has amazing taste in decor, and every detail is thoughtfully planned, from cooking equipment to outdoor candles for keeping bugs away. The breathtaking view and cozy outdoor deck made it easy to relax and count the stars. Plus, the host even provides a self-made handbook with local guides and dog-friendly trail information, which was a big plus for us. Truly a perfect stay!

Great location and space! This was a trip for me and my husband and this was a great choice for the two of us. The space was beautiful and the location was great. We walked to restaurants and shops, it was a perfect combination of enough things nearby without being swamped with tourists. Neighbors were friendly and host was very responsive. Would love to stay here again!

We loved staying at Mike's cabin. It was a perfect relaxing getaway for us and our dogs on a very quiet street with nearby trails. We enjoyed the cozy feeling of the cabin and were glad to have a well stocked kitchen for cooking and plenty of firewood for unwinding at night. Mike was very friendly and communicative, and was able to offer some local suggestions when asked. Just a heads up - if you don't have 4 wheel drive, you may want to use chains to get up the last couple hilly streets to the cabin in case of icy or snowy conditions. Once we arrived, though, the stairs to the cabin were completely free of ice and snow. Thank you, Mike!

Kristine's cabin was perfect for what we needed. Very quiet and great location to get around Tahoe.

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you so much for sharing your little spot of paradise with us!

Great spot in a fantastic location. Steps from the beach and downtown. Easy access to other fantastic beaches with just a short drive, too. It is not a luxurious place by any means, but the location is what makes this little gem stand out. Highly recommend if you value location over amenities/luxury.

This place is a total gem. Super quiet, very spacious for 4 people. The kitchen was so well stocked which was great since we cooked both nights. The WiFi isn’t great but that’s a plus for us since we love to unplug. House was so clean & an ideal location to town & near amazing biking trails & Lake Davis. The house was also very cool despite the warm summer temps.

Wonderful place to stay in Tahoe! Well stocked kitchen, good washer/dryer, cozy atmosphere. Katie was a great communicator. They even have nice cast iron pans! Highly recommend.

Steven was very friendly, easy to reach and fast responses. The cabin is quaint and comfortable, if the couch was a bit bigger might be more comfortable. The kitchen was perfect and being that we stayed in for dinners was fantastic, the stove and hood system was amazing! Loved the bedrooms in the upstairs loft, super cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely return and appreciate Steven's communication and overall positive approach!

This is a wonderful cabin in a peaceful setting. Awesome outdoor space with a huge yard, hot tub and lawn games. Well appointed setup with comfortable beds. Coffee and waffles a nice touch. Communication was excellent and granting us a late checkout on the day our son was headed to his first overnight camp was going above and beyond.

This was our third trip to the cabin in 3 years. That's how much we like this place. Carol is always very responsive, super friendly, and goes the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The cabin itself is lovely, perfectly situated with a great view, and is one of our very favorite places to get away.

Lisa and Evan are great hosts. What you see is exactly what you’ll get. Their home is comfortable and located close to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend staying there.

Had a great stay at the cabin in Clio. I was worried that it would get too hot inside since the weather was in the 80s and there was no AC but the inside stayed pleasant the entire time. We did not even need to use the fans. The place is exactly as pictured. We cooked most of our meals there without any issue. Everything is very comfortable. Enjoyed the history of the place. Neighborhood was pleasant to walk around and peaceful. Near town of Graeagle where we enjoyed the shops, stores, and the ice cream/coffee eatteries. Convenient for hiking in the Lake Basin area.

Nice clean spot near sugar bowl. Good for our family of 5 with 3 young kids. Strongly recommend.
