We loved our time here! Not only were Darren and Laura wonderful hosts and communicators, but the property genuinely exceeded our expectations, the Airbnb was MORE beautiful in person than in the photos (hard to believe, I know), and the location of the neighborhood was incredible — high up on a hill of a beautiful and safe neighborhood. 😍 Only recommendation for future guests — book one extra day!! There is so much to do and such little time! We would’ve loved to have one more day to enjoy the Airbnb a little more. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Perfect place for 2! Had everything we needed to be comfortable. Were there to rest after 2 weeks exploring national parks and found the deck conducive to relax, walkable distance to town and beach. Some traffic noise but the view trumps that. Host responds when needed yet honors privacy. Would stay again.

Wonderfully quiet location in the trees next to a tiny creek. Perfect getaway from the city, yet so accessible and decorated with beautifully woven fabrics from the owner’s business.

Bev and Rod are both exceptionally friendly and accomodating hosts. I had brought along a to-go dinner and bottle of wine; then it turned out that when I arrived Rod was at the BBQ making their dinner. So I was able to enjoy wonderful company with my evening meal - on their beautifully paved open patio surrounded by an amazing garden, while having someone with whom to share a glass or two of wine. The acommodations were also impressive, in what I learned is a former town bakery. My room for the night, its little kitchenette, and the bathroom, are without question professionally finished by a master craftsman, and decorated in an interesting artistic and unique welcoming manner. The little table in the bay window with a log hewn bench was especially fun. And a delightful side patio with a second private exit expanded their property's gardens to wonderfully enhance my experience staying here. Overall, I could not have wanted for a nicer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Jana’s place! It’s perfectly located close to Sequoia National Park, making it a great base for exploring the area. The property is peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. One of our favorite parts was watching all the birds around the property—it really added to the relaxing atmosphere. The Airbnb itself is super charming and Jana and her partner were very welcoming. We’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful stay near the parks—perfect for two people!

Description and pictures all matched. It was very private despite the main house being on-site. The hot tub was excellent and was so peaceful among pine and palm trees. Polina met us and showed us around. We did not use the pool but it was available. Bed, pillows and linens comfortable. We had very late nights due to our plans and felt easy and safe returning later at night. Parking on-site was appreciated.

Louise & Eric's place was a wonderful stay while my wife & I attended my cousin's wedding and explored the area. Nestldown, was a short 1 mile drive away. Also convenient to Los Gatos, Santa Cruz, and a bit of a drive: Monterey and Pinnacles National Park. The hammock suspended between two giant redwood trees in a redwood forest was such a refreshment for the soul. I thoroughly enjoyed some prayerful, silent time there while my wife took a rest before the reception. Louise & Eric did a great job of hosting and when we had one hiccup in our experience Louise & Eric were very kind and took care of things. I would absolutely stay here again and I hope my wife and I have the opportunity to stay again some day. We noticed in the guest book we would not be the first repeat guest! Thanks very kindly Louise & Eric for providing a restful transition from our west coast adventure back home and a great home base for attending the wedding. God bless you both!

This place looked exactly like the pictures. It was clean and comfortable. Marissa even had a gift basket waiting for us! She checked on us several times during our trip and was always quick to respond. We are so glad we chose to stay here vs a hotel. Definitely would recommend staying here!

This is a cozy cabin just as described. The owners have done a great job with the decor - interesting colors, textures and patterns. The place is stocked with everything you need from toiletries to lake chairs. This space would be best for a family with younger kids or a couple. We really enjoyed our time staying here and hope to return when it's warm enough to swim!

Just as advertised, the place was very clean and stocked with everything you need. Beautiful scenery with the river right outside. Under 20 min to get to Sequoia NP. We had no issues getting in or finding the place, the instructions were very clear. We had Verizon and AT&T service plans and both did not have signal. However, the wifi was very fast, no issues there.

This is one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The redwood trees, dappled light, and solitude was much needed and we could have easily stayed another week to enjoy the rest and relaxation. I’ve always wanted a cabin in the woods and this met all of our expectations. Casey, Tera and the kids are wonderful human beings and even though the unit is close to the main house -there is a sense of privacy and boundaries. Loved it here .. would visit again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful location, you feel like you’re in a magical realm. The cabin is cute, but it is in the mountains and in the woods so is chilly, make sure to bring sweaters. The hot tub is great, but note that it isn’t a standard hot tub, you sit on the floor of it. Great for us but may be hard for others! I’d highly recommend this spot and we’re thinking about coming again.

Thank you Russ for having us! Gorgeous view, surroundings, and quality touches like the twinkle lights on the deck and black out curtains. We were happy to have our dog come along as well, and the dog park just 10 mins away. A spectacular deal, you won't regret staying here. Hope to come back sometime soon!

We enjoyed our stay at the Coyote Den. It was easy to access in a great neighborhood. The hosts provided clear instructions for checking in and out. We would recommend this place to others and would stay again in the future.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Gina was a wonderful host — super responsive, helpful, and flexible. The cabin is the perfect place to spend a foothills getaway. The inside is cozy and comfortable, and the back deck offers stunning views. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area with day hikes and great food, drink, and live music in nearby Twain Harte.

Spectacular getaway to unwind, hike, listen to birds, enjoy a glass of wine, and watch the boats go by. Thank you to the gracious hosts.

Wow, this place is serene! It’s quiet and peaceful and exactly what we needed to get away from the huddle and bustle of life. The cabin was charming. The shower was great. The temperature was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The Brita water pitcher in the fridge was a great touch. The fridge kept everything very cold. The summer camp vibe is there and the scenery is beautiful. We loved daily walks by the river. It was perfect for my dogs. And at night the stars were amazing! About 90 minutes from Yosemite. About 15 minutes from all the stores/grocery you could need. We’d visit again for sure. Thank you for hosting us!

Place was peaceful , it does get really cold at night, they had a heater but we forgot it was there. Both the blackstone griddle and fire pit didn't require us to change it out like some other places we've stayed! Definitely loved the shower!

This place is a hidden gem and the price was amazing for a place like this. The scenery was great, the privacy was amazing, the fresh air, the lake etc...it was super relaxing. My wife and I loved our time there for her birthday and we didn't want to leave 😭😭 It was the perfect getaway spot away from our busy lives with work and much more. Also Tod was an amazing host and super responsive during our stay there. I reccomend this place a lot. My wife and I will be coming back again and plenty more hehe

Jamie’s Cabin at Shaver like was a fantastic experience. The area is perfectly located for a secluded and nature filled get away. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the cozy & inviting atmosphere. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and incredibly well-equipped – everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway is provided. The kitchen is well amenited , the beds were comfortable, and the fireplace would add a perfect touch of warmth on chilly evenings. We spent our days hiking the nearby trails, enjoying the fresh mountain air, and simply unwinding in the peaceful surroundings. Jamie was an exceptional host, providing clear instructions and being readily available to answer any questions. The location is perfect – secluded enough for privacy but still within driving distance of Yosemite & Sequoia. We can't wait to return!

We stayed at Laura and Dan’s gorgeous home for our wedding weekend as our venue was in Newcastle! The house was perfect for us and our bridal party! It was the perfect house to gather with all our closest family and friends and enjoy! From the pool table, to the hot tub and the bunk room for a girls slumber party it was perfect! Laura and Dan were excellent hosts and we hope to stay again. We shared lots of laughs and memories were made! Cheers! Connor & Maggie
