Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Shorewood

We loved staying with Jose! The place was beautifully decorated and the shower was amazing. Definitely a nice location. Many bars and restaurants within walking distance. The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet. We brought our bicycles with us and had a nice secure backyard to store them in as well. It was a wonderful stay and we had a wonderful experience seeing the city from our bikes. I would definitely recommend a stay here. It was lovely!

Jean‘s House is charming—it was very clean and comfortable. Woodwork was beautiful and so many of the original features of the home have been kept in excellent condition or renovated to make it a great mixture of a vintage aesthetic with the modern comforts. You cannot do without a car if staying here. But if you have a car it’s a convenient base for doing things in Milwaukee. Great list of recommendations (At Random is a great little cocktail venue).

Andrea was such a great host! We asked for a few recommendations, specifically dog friendly ones. The recommendations were stellar! Very detailed, listed in an easy to read manor, and lived up to the recommendation. Highly recommend Riley's Social House regardless of whether you have a dog with you or not. The environment was amazing and food was excellent! Also the house is very cool! I wish I had the same green thumb as the hosts because the houseplants are amazing. We all 3 felt very at home during our stay.

Always love staying with Daniel and Anne's place! Not only are they always super responsive, but their property is beautiful and well set up for large groups. walk friendly, and lots of nearby food options. 100% would recommend, and we definitely hope to be back in the future!

Enjoyed Michael’s place with a group of buddies from high school. We walked to Lakefront Brewery for dinner and to other bars for beers. We walked to Uncle Wolfie’s for breakfast, both were Michael’s recommendations. The house was clean, well appointed and effortless from our aspect. Street parking was easy. We also utilized the garage, which was massive. All in all this is a well priced very nice place to stay for any occasion. Families would really enjoy as well. The roof top deck was awesome. Milwaukee itself is a great town, very easy to navigate and has a lot to offer. It was a great weekend, all made possible by the awesome spot to stay.

We were a couple in our 60’s traveling out of state to our daughter’s wedding. It was extremely hard to find a house close to the Venue for 4 adults and a dog, with 2 bathrooms. Milwaukee can be hit or miss in locations and safety. Lots of street fairs going on in the area, and a beer race. We arrived on a Friday and left Monday morning. Parking on the street was an issue. Especially when you are in high heels and wearing wedding attire. We had to park a block away from the rental. Carrying up our luggage was a bit challenging with the stairs. House does look exactly like pictures; which was great. Homes are older, but this one was a beautiful remodel. Upstairs bathroom was a bit small getting ready for wedding especially since my husband is 6’-5”. All in all it worked out well!!

Fabulous place to stay for our son’s college graduation. Had everything we needed. Plenty of room for us all to be together. Loved all the extras in the bathrooms and kitchen. Heated toilet seat, excellent sheets and towel, bread maker, cookbooks, wine glasses, games, extra tooth brushes….One of the best things was when we left we did not have to worry about linens etc because “that’s what the cleaning fee is for”. Hopefully will be back In two years for graduate degree graduation.

kind people, very communicative and flexible. our travel schedule was very hectic, but they understood and never showed frustration.

Great apartment in a great neighborhood. We were able to walk to most everything we wanted to see and do in Milwaukee. Hosts were very responsive and the space was clean and updated. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank goodness for places like this! Spotless, comfortable, just the right amount of amenities. Garage parking! Food & drink options within walking distance.
