Reikaku Yasaka | Gion | Historical Machiya

Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. The result is Japanese craftsmanship at its best and we are very proud to be able to share the result with the rest of the world. Check our other house as an alternate option @ Reikaku Kiyomizu-Gojo

kyoto villa soso (Near Kyoto station)

《May 2019 TV can be watched.》 It is located 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. It will be lent to a Kyoto townhouse style building. I put the finest furniture and the finest bed. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

We have a Canadian house, just a stone through away from the beautiful Lake Biwa. Suitable place to stay for family trip, with friends and work trip. For 7guests or less, we rent 3 bed rooms (with 8 beds) For 8guests or more, we can rent the extra cabin space which is still part of the building but usually there is no access.(5 bed rooms and an attic, 12 beds and extra bathroom) please see photos and enquire within. - No Party - No BBQ after 9pm

Within a 5-15 minute walk, you can reach Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kodaiji Temple, Hanamikoji Street, Yasaka Shrine, Sanjusangendo Temple, and the Kyoto National Museum. At the same time, the area offers great convenience for daily life. Within a 5-minute walk, you'll find 24-hour supermarkets, convenience stores, traditional Japanese bathhouses, a post office, bus stops, and train stations, all of which can meet your travel and living needs.

雲町屋 小舟 Kumoachiya KOFUNE

Located south of the Imperial Palace (the Imperial Palace of Kyoto) and once home to royal court craftsmen, Yuyacho is located at the intersection of Funaya and Fuyacho, so it is named "Yu". Most of the rooms are decorated with bamboo.The biggest feature is the unique Japanese design style, the hallway is quiet, the courtyard is fresh and elegant, and you can enjoy the view from the window while drinking tea in the tea room.

The house was an Ochaya (literally "tea house")before and we renovated it, which is an establishment where patrons are entertained by geisha. We kept the original structure and make it much more modern and comfortable. The river in front of the house is the must-see in Kyoto changing from cherry bloom to maples. The best location near Gojo bridge and Kiyomizuーgojo sta. can make it very convenient to all the famous spots.

One of the best vacation rentals in Kyoto, Shichijo-an is a lovingly restored Japanese townhouse with all the comforts Western travelers expect.
