Traditional/modern Kyoto Paradise in quiet area!

IgalRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This Japanese-style home offered a wonderfully authentic Kyoto experience. It's set in a quiet, green area, surrounded by nature, yet still conveniently close to stores, the train, and restaurants. The house itself is spacious and fully equipped with everything you need. I really enjoyed morning runs in the peaceful neighborhood and coffee in the garden. Highly recommend for a relaxed, local feel!

Open Sale/Kyoto Sta.8min/ InariTaisha by Wark 5min

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was very accommodating and ideal for a family trip. It's in a nice, quiet area, even though it’s near a train — the sound is barely noticeable, and it makes getting around really convenient. One of the highlights was how close the local shrine was — it added a peaceful and cultural touch to the stay. There's also a 7/11 nearby that's open 24/7, which was super handy. The hosts were very communicative and generous throughout our visit. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!

The detached house has good privacy, quiet, and convenient surrounding facilities. The subway is about 5-6 minutes away, and there is a 24-hour convenience store.Especially the host is very nice and warm! Will introduce Kyoto and recommend attractions, and also help with pick-up and drop-off ~ The house is very comfortable, if I come to Kyoto next time, I will stay here!

Private house for up to 7 people in a historic retro old house

ChapmanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Such a beautiful house in such a beautiful neighborhood with such a kind host. Drove us both too and from the train station, and bought us snacks when the cleaners had to come and stay a little longer than expected during our stay. Other than that (which really wasn’t much of an issue at all), we had one of the most enjoyable and peaceful and well-hosted experiences of our time on Airbnb. If you’re looking for a taste of Japan - of the old ways - look no farther.

Built in 1926, a traditional Japanese house with a beautiful garden. Former reception room

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Thankyou Hiroko and Tetsuya for welcoming us into your beautiful home. We are a family of 4 adults and all loved being in a traditional private home, with such a beautiful garden and an interesting history. We had a wonderful private dinner, prepared by Chef Hiroko which was one of our favourite meals that we’ve had in Japan. Thankyou so much Hiroko. Tetsuya gave us great tips to walk from our accomodation to the Philosophers path which was stunning, esp in spring with the cherry blossom still blooming. We loved our stay here.
