The open plan living kitchen area boasts a vaulted ceiling and country cottage style kitchen, with walk in larder cupboard. Relax in the evening in front of a roaring fire, or explore the beach which is just a 2 minute walk away! A great location to explore Yell, Unst, Fetlar & the north of Shetland.

Set in it's own garden grounds with views over the Atlantic and the quiet Westside village of Skeld (40 minute drive from Lerwick) and the marina, you'll enjoy the best of Shetland hospitality with a chef prepared breakfast to start the day. Come and go as you please, you have your own front door and your own sitting room with a peat stove and Bose wifi music player. You also have exclusive use of the walk in shower and toilet. Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

The Weaving Shed Studio - a Shetland retreat

The Weaving Shed Studio is a small, very basic ground-floor apartment next to the glorious Weaving Shed Gallery, a private space which displays the work of the late Jeannette-Therese Obstoj. Jeannette loved Shetland and the restoration and refurbishment of the then-derelict Weaving Shed was carried out in her memory by the current owner, her partner Geoff. The studio apartment was designed as a simple retreat for creative writers and artists and is available to individuals and couples.

'Spindrift' is a traditional white 2-bedroom cottage situated almost upon Levenwick’s sheltered sandy beach. Levenwick is conveniently located on the South Mainland of Shetland, half way between Lerwick and Sumburgh Airport and close to many attractions. It has a regular bus service. From Spindrift you can stroll to the beach, launch boats from the sand and take cliff walks.

Mavine Cottage, Lerwick, Shetland

A cosy stone built cottage, circa 1800, in a superb location on the outskirts of Lerwick. Gorgeous sea view, with the Sands of Sound beach just down the road and great access to coastal walks. Easy walking distance to Tesco and the Clickimin Leisure Complex, with Lerwick town centre only 1.25 miles away. There's a well equipped kitchen with a pully for drying clothes and also a good size living room. Mavine Cottage is a great base from which to explore all Shetland has to offer.

Set in the picturesque south end of the town known as The Lodberries, No 5 Kveldsro Gardens is a one-bedroom house with a sofa bed in the lounge. (Linen is provided for sofa bed on request and is suitable for 1 person) The iconic Jimmy Perez house as seen in the TV series "Shetland" can be seen from the kitchen window. The town centre is a few minutes' walk along the seafront. You can relax in the patio garden after a busy day exploring your surroundings.

The Peerie Neuk is a sustainably built tiny eco home with all the comforts of a cosy house just a bit tinier! There is a double bed and fold out sofa, suitable for one adult or two children. There’s is a small kitchen with hob, kettle and little fridge (large enough for two bottles of prosecco 🤣). There is a wood burning stove with oven. The oven will keep things warm. There’s on demand hot water, shower and compost toilet.

This modern, comfortable self catering house is a great base for relaxing after a busy day exploring Shetland . Although it is an annexe to owners home it is completely private .There are spectacular views across the bay where seals ,otters and sometimes Orcas can be spotted. There is a small beach 2 minutes walk from the accommodation also a swimming pool and local shop within easy walking distance .
