Holiday rentals with lake access in Shawinigan

This Airbnb was exactly what we needed! It's a peaceful escape in a beautiful location right on the lake. The cottage has everything needed for the stay, making it incredibly convenient. The host is responsive and friendly, which made our experience even better. I highly recommended it if you are looking for a lakefront cottage!

Place has a beautiful scenery & outdoor lake patio. Nurtured spot in the woods worth visiting any season of the year. Jacques was pleasant to speak too and generous. would surely visit once again.

I highly recommend the place - interiors excellent, host very friendly and to the point, surroundings are serene and tranquil. Space wise, it’s not for more than 11 people in my opinion. 5 dedicated bedrooms for 2 persons each and then 1 more bedroom in the basement but the bed is wall to wall, so good enough for 1 bachelor. Really good couches but wouldn’t recommend them to sleep overnight unless you’re trying to cut on budget. Definitely didn’t feel like it’s good enough for 19 people as advertised, good that we were just 12 with a kid. In a nutshell, bet your money on it if you’re planning a peaceful vacation for 11 people. Thanks Renato!

Beautiful cottage, well equipped. Large windows let in the sun, a beautiful terrace for aperitifs, a spa to relax, a slide to entertain the little ones. We loved it.

Me and my family had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful house! The home was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities I could have asked for. Waking up to the stunning view of Lake Chenin from the house was truly a highlight and made the experience even more special. The house was equipped with everything and anything you need and had all amenities .The peaceful surroundings and thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like a home away from home. would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and cozy gateway

Pleasant stay in this beautiful little refuge in the forest. The site is quiet and gives access to beautiful hiking trails. We'll definitely be back. 😊

Beautiful stay in your chalet. Very quiet place and close to the river with beautiful rooms. The hot tub, fire pit and mosquito net gazebo were very popular for our outdoor moments! Thank you so much for the sweet surprise when we arrived!

We had a wonderful stay at Laurence and Patrick's! Everything was perfectly as described in the cottage. The family cottage made us feel at home, while being completely exotic thanks to the breathtaking view of the lake. We did not miss anything: the cottage was very well equipped, with wood available and the possibility of using the hot tub, which made our stay even more pleasant. Laurence and Patrick were very responsive and attentive to our various requests. Thank you very much to them for hosting us!

The place was super cozy and had a really welcoming vibe—just perfect for a summer break. Also, Sophie was a great host, always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. I hope to find the cabin in future as well for my next visit.

Johanne’s place was great, a very restful and peaceful stop over on my bike trip! Very well equipped just like home and I was beyond thrilled to be able to cook my own dinner. The place is beautifully situated next to the water and I enjoyed hearing all the different birds in the morning :)

We had a lovely three days at Daniel’s chalet. The place was brand new and super clean, and the queen bed was very comfortable. Despite using just a portion of the house, we still had enough areas for the two of us to work, nap, cook, and play board games (both indoors and on the patio). Lake Thomas is beautiful, but the only issue we had was putting the kayak into the lake - there were floods just before we arrived, so we would be knee deep in mud when entering the kayak. Swimming was much easier to do, as we jumped into deep water from the quay. When swimming be sure to try out the little green and white floaties - they’re so much fun! 🙂 At the time of our stay, the space between the chalet and the lake was rocky (there is no grassy areas) and unfinished (as per the photos), so we couldn’t sit by the lake except on the quay. We are feeling refreshed by the water and calmed by the quiet nature around the lake, and would surely return! Thanks, Daniel!

Chalet ideal for a family with children, everything is planned, it's perfect! Of course, we loved the beautiful setting in the middle of nature, a joy to disconnect from city life 🏞🌈⛄️ we'll be happy to come back and try the Pedalo 😁

Very nice cottage, well maintained, very clean and everything is there.

We came as a couple for a few days to rest. The space is a safe haven. It is very well equipped, the bedding is very comfortable. The accommodation is well thought out and communication with the hosts before and during made the stay all the more enjoyable. This is by far our best Airbnb experience. We'll be back with pleasure if we have a chance.

Residence combining charm and comfort. Despite an earlier arrival than expected, Marie-Pier welcomed us with kindness. Peaceful neighborhood with nearby services. Portneuf Regional Park 25 minutes away where hiking and canoeing await you at very attractive prices (just don't forget the mosquito repellent). Excellent stay

The house is extremely cozy. The amenities are enough and convenient. The view and the waterfront are sublime. Hosts are accommodating. Despite the proximity of the 155, the site is very quiet.

The cottage was great! Big windows showing the beautiful view of the sourrounding woods and lake. About 15 minutes from Val St-Come ski resort. So skiing in the morning and relaxing after in front of a nice fire with a glass of wine. I would definitely recommend this cottage. Thanks Nicolas for your cottage. Patrick

The location of the chalet is just amazing. We went during the winter and it was warm but we regretted that the temperature prevents us from enjoying the outdoors since the facilities looked great and there is a veranda overlooking the grounds, it's beautiful. The rooms were great, it had everything we needed and even more. Yannicke was very patient with our many questions and above all very responsive.
