Holiday rentals in Shark Hole

This was one of the greatest trips I've taken to Barbados, Ivan's air bnb was immaculate, very nice experience especially at night hearing the waves crashing and the sounds of nature to assist in having a peaceful night's rest I actually got to meet Ivan and he definitely made my stay very comfortable, very down to earth individual it was a blessing finding him and his place.

We enjoyed our stay at Michael's apartment which was well located, clean and comfortable. Michael was a friendly host. We would gladly return.

From our first enquiry to check-out, our experience with Preetam and this property was exceptional. We were traveling from Ireland with our 3-year-old and 5-month-old and were a bit nervous, but everything we needed—travel cot, highchair, baby bath, even kids' plates—was ready for us. Though there were no reviews when we booked, we were quickly reassured—the apartment was even better than the photos. Thoughtfully decorated and fully stocked, it’s clear a lot of care went into every detail. We’ve traveled a lot, and this was by far our best accommodation experience. Having the sea right outside was a real treat, and the beach was quiet and peaceful. One note: we’d have been lost without a car, as most restaurants and amenities are around 30 minutes away, there is not a lot in the immediate location. Definitely ask Preetam for restaurant/ disk recommendations! You are in for a treat! It really was the most beautiful place to stay, thank you.

Our hosts picked us up from the airport and we were immediately charmed by their warmth which made us feel like family. They even took us shopping for any necessities that we might need. Once we arrived at the home, we fell in love with the place. Not only was the décor lovely, but being a bit of a clean freak... I was very happy to find the home so incredibly clean. Amenities were perfect.. with the hosts thinking of just about everything we would need for our stay. The location was perfect for us, since we rented a car. Driving was a bit of a challenge though..at first.. lol. Beds were super comfortable.. and both room had its own washroom.. which was ideal for us. I cannot say enough of how lovely these hosts were to us. Took us back to the airport for our departure and made sure us and all our luggage were checked in safely. Stayed for 10 days and highly recommend this home and hosts. The only note is that you will need a car to get around.. but hosts have recommendations.

Listing was true to description. The host Cherie was very kind and professional. She greeted me at the house We did a tour and explained how to work all appliances. The house was clean and comfortable The view from the patio was spectacular and peaceful, I loved the Pool Although the house is in a good location. You will need a car as it quite away from the nearest bus stop. I enjoyed my stay and would return again without hesitation

We just had our stay at Anne’s beautiful villa and it was a wow experience. Every morning you could open the balcony door and see the most amazing sun rise over the the ocean. Besides the big room with kitchen and icemachine (super nice feature for drinks, water ect.), you have double showers which are perfect after a day at the beach. Short by there is the Shark Hole, a small Pearl for svimming and sunbathing. The house manager was extremely kind and always open for a chat, extra help and good recommendations. When we are comming back to 🇧🇧, we are diffently going to revisit.

From the in-person welcome from Michelle to the good bye message, interactions felt like meeting a friend. Such a fantastic and down to earth hostess. The cottage is simply a gem. Perfectly situated to catch the amazing sea breeze and decorated so thoughtfully and with such warmth that it feels like a sanctuary. We truly had such a wonderful experience. Michelle’s home has set the bar for others to the reach. Michelle, thank you for creating such a beautiful space to enjoy this beautiful country. It’s a perfect match. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Great location if you have a car, though too far for most excursion pickups. Driving on the left was easy to adjust to. The ocean view is stunning, and sunrises are a daily highlight. Pool cleaners come on Wednesdays and are dropped off—don’t be surprised if you go outside and there’s no car. Unlike most Airbnbs, there were no basic seasonings, so we left some salt and pepper behind. A few downsides: the washer had a strong odor and needs replacing (the houseman came by unannounced to measure that). The armoire in the double bed room was in bad shape, but they said it’s being replaced. Water pressure was also very low and the hot water takes around 10 minutes to reach the upstairs bathrooms. We had one person take a cold shower when we first arrived lol Beautiful spot overall, but a few improvements would make a big difference.
