Lovely place to stay in a peaceful village, with easy walks to beautiful Hope Cove and beyond. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable and relaxing. We really appreciated the little extra touches to make us feel welcome. Lovely owners. Our dog loved it too!

Felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Great location, could walk to everything in Beer. Great parking space at the back which made it easy for luggage. It was a lovely stay, would highly recommend. So convenient having the shop right next door! Would definitely stay again if we returned to Beer. Thanks Guys.x

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

Great place. Spacious living area with everything we needed. Cafes and bakeries within 2 min walk + amazing playground. Would def stay again.

A delightful secluded residence facing out over farmland. Although there is a farm and there are homes in converted farm buildings close by, you would hardly know they were there; the property has a separate entrance to the main farm that it shares with one other dwelling, which again you would hardly know was there. The property is as described and well equipped. Although the garden is very small, this is not really a problem with so much open countryside on the doorstep. Rich George was very helpful, responding quickly to our queries before arrival and welcoming us warmly with helpful advice when we got there but otherwise leaving us to enjoy our holiday. The climbing roses surrounding the decked area were divine. We can recommend North Sands beach as a paradise for dogs if they like the water; our visit was in early June and, on all but one occasion, we managed to park in one of the four road side parking spaces at the top of the beach (free for 2 hours) rather than pay to use

We wanted to get away from it all in a part of Dartmoor we hadn't been to before and Steve's place seemed to fit the bill. When we got there, we found that it more than met our expectations! The Barn was exactly what we were looking for: a wonderful peaceful location and extremely comfortable and very well-equipped accommodation. The big selling point for us was the fact that the Barn was on lots of well-mapped walks, so that we could go on lovely walks in all directions without having to get in the car. Steve and Tessa were the perfect hosts; they made us feel most welcome and we found we had a lot in common. We very much enjoyed our short stay and look forward to returning to the Barn before long to explore the area further.

This was a great location for our stay near Sidmouth where we had friends visiting over the weekend. Sidbury is a charming English village just outside Sidmouth, with a lot of traditional thatched cottages. The property has a lovely little garden where we sat and enjoyed the scenery and listened to the stream running past. It was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway to rest and recuperate.

Nicky was super helpful with our booking and me changing things at the last moment. Loved the place and the views and lovely little pub just down the road.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at your beautiful property — everything was absolutely perfect, and I truly appreciated how thoughtful and welcoming you both were. Your quick responses made everything so easy, and the beautiful birthday basket you left for me was such a kind and unexpected gesture that really made my day. Thank you also for letting us have a late checkout — it was such a help and made the whole experience even more relaxing. You really went above and beyond, and I’d love to stay again in the future! We had an amazing stay at Lesley’s. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was so much to do in the local areas. The caravan was spot on, lovely and clean and we were very grateful for the little hamper and milk when we arrived. Everything was clean and tidy and we particularly loved all the fleecy blankets for that extra cosy touch. Thank you Lesley. Would 100% recommend and stay again

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Yet again we had a fantastic break in this great holiday home. This is our third visit and ready to book again for next year (if they will have us ) lol. Keep up the great job in hosting that you both do so well, and thanks again Ted.

It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful family home. The location was sublime, peaceful and idyllic. The quirky access was amusing and great to be so close to the Ferry Boat Inn. The house had everything you could wish for and more!

We had a wonderful stay here in Shaldon. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It was a great location within walking distance of the village, beach and ferry to Teignmouth. The village itself is beautiful and we loved discovering Ness Cove beach and crabbing in Teignmouth. The beds were super comfy and Carlisle was really understanding and flexible with dates following my daughter's hospital stay which caused a lot of stress before we came. We will definitely recommend and visit again as a great base for a lovely break in the area.

Anne's place was a gem. The views of Teignmouth were gorgeous. My mom and I went there to experience where my 5th and 6th great grandfathers who left England for the Newfoundland fishing industry lived. The people were lovely, the beaches warm, the hospitality was great. We discovered so much there. Would definitely stay again. I felt at home. Thanks, Anne!

Perfect for young families. We had everything we needed. Jon and Jo were super responsive and made us feel right at home. We would defintely stay here again.

We absolutely loved it and highly recommend staying here. the location is perfect for Exeter and Torquay. beautiful countryside and near the sea. the photos really don't do it justice. excellent value for money thank you! we'll be back

Lovely cottage, immaculate with the most comfortable beds of any stay I've had. Great location, shops just around the corner, little beach a short walk away great for dogs and kids. Pubs are lovely as are local restaurants. The local bakers and butchers also very nice. Grant was so helpful, highly recommend

I enjoyed my stay at Cooks cottage. I found it to be clean, comfortable with all the mod cons that you might need. The cottage provided peace and quiet and privacy which was most welcome. Very good nights sleep was had due to good quality bed and linen. It was pleasant to awake to a dawn chorus of songbirds from the rear enclosed garden. Blackbirds, Robins, Dunnocks and Wrens were evident among the mossy surrounds. At the end of my stay I felt refreshed with my wellbeing much improved. We had a great two night stay here. The beds were comfortable and clean. The house is immaculate. There is a space in the yard to relax. Nice Living room area to watch some TV. Kitchen has all the amenities you need. The area is so beautiful with lots to see. Some great restaurants and local pubs. The Ship has always been a favorite of mine and it has beautiful views of the back beach. Emily is responsive and helpful.

The Shepherds hut was perfect for us, amazing location and views. Very relaxing and quiet. Sofabed was very comfortable, lovely drop down table was a bonus. Close to showers and toilets. Would highly recommended coming here, and our dog loved it as well.
