Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Senegal

This is the second time I have stayed at Marie-Louise and Dr. Benoît's eco-apartment in Dakar. They are lovely people and I enjoyed visiting with them very much this trip. They were very communicative and helpful while I was there, and the airport pick up and drop off that they arranged went smoothly. I love staying here because the apartments are very spacious, the beds are all equipped with mosquito nets, the roof deck is fabulous, and the location is very convenient for me--I usually go to the national archives, UCAD, Point E, for my work in Dakar. The apartment is located just a short walk away from the new, convenient BRT bus line and it's also about a 7-10 minute walk to an ATM and a large Auchan supermarket. Guests should be aware that these are eco-apartments, so they are encouraged to conserve water and electricity. If you are looking for high end luxury, this might not be the best fit, but they are an excellent option in many ways. I will be going back for sure.

Dream stay at Marieme's, with the radiant and caring company of ousmane the caretaker with little onions! A 30-minute walk from the beach , it's very easy to reach the lagoon beach and its small restaurants, ideal for children. Otherwise , the beach in front of the house is also beautiful and very frequented by fishermen from whom you can buy the soles, shrimp and other fish of the day!

Absolutely beautiful home. Very well maintained and exceptionally clean all amenities are as described, the pool was clean and ready when we arrived. The garden is very peaceful. Will definitely be visiting again. ⭐️⭐️

We had a great stay with our family. The accommodation is very pleasant peaceful, well maintained, very functional and well-equipped. A cleaner came over the course of the week. A caretaker sleeps on site in a home next to ours in the courtyard. The sea is not far away. To do the shopping you have to walk a little but doable on foot. Honestly, I would 100% recommend it.

This is a great place, brandnew amenities, beautiful cottage in very nice residence, walking distance to supermarket. We'll be back!

The beach house is beautiful, greatly located with nice sea food that you can purchase around. The staff in the house were very helpful and pleasant. Alia provided us with all the information prior to check in, including tips and advice on local activities and restaurants. Thanks for opening your space to us! We very much enjoyed the arts and facilities, we'll definitely come back.

Excellent and beautiful apartment, very well maintained and in accordance with the description. I liked the kindness of Guy, the caretaker, and all the attention of Mamie, the owner. I will gladly return to this apartment, which has the advantage of being closer to the airport and seaside resorts when leaving Dakar.

Great location , close to the beach. The place is clean, even nicer than the pictures. Romain is extremely responsive! The caretaker Denis is available, discreet and very well maintained the pool. We had a great time. We'll be back. Go without so much as a second thought!

Paradise... Gabrielle and her family have created a peaceful environment. The little hut, the pool, the sunbed under the cashew tree, the garden, the family, the animals - I immediately felt welcome like it was my home. I was able to relax in the garden, i received tasteful vegan dishes, and the support in checking of my excursion/things-to-do-list were outstanding. I will definitely come back as this is a quiet heaven so. much needed especially when you come from a busy city like Dakar. I took the ferry from Dakar to Ziguinchor and have been picked up. I have seen and experienced so much thanks to Gabrielle and her family and on top of it all I achieved what i wanted to achieve - i relaxend and filled up my energy level. The location is very peaceful, I would suggest a car though if you want to explore independently - be aware that most streets are sandroads.
