Christine and Rebecca were amazing hosts!! The cottage was super clean, and had everything we needed. This cottage was also super fun for a big group, we played lots of volleyball, went out in the canoes, and did hot cold dips from the lake to the sauna. Amazing place, would totally go again :)

It was another enjoyable stay. This is our second time staying at Micheal’s listing here in Norland. The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed all the amenities. Thanks again for the relaxing getaway :)

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. A perfect place for a larger group. Thank you Paul for letting us enjoy your clean, easily accessible home for our holidays. Hopefully see you next year.

The photos don’t do this cottage justice! It is so lovely and homey, we loved spending our long weekend there!! The cottage’s kitchen is well equipped and there is even a desk and monitor upstairs which is a good set up for someone to work from the cottage. We would definitely come back!

Victoria was very accommodating with our parking needs. We stayed with her while participating in the 1st annual ATV Ride for Dad. We had a large trailer with 4 ATV’s and no issues with parking unloading and loading. We ordered breakfast for the first morning; having nice hot breakfast we didn’t have to make ourselves was nice. The glass bottled water was a nice touch and appreciated. Hot days didn’t allow us to use the hot tub but it was there if we wanted. Although it was hot outside the space we stayed in wasn’t terrible, even without AC, at least at night when we were there. The fans in the bedrooms were put to good use while we slept. Not sure how it was during the day though since we weren’t around. If we are ever in Tweed again, Victoria’s space will stay on our list.

We had a wonderful stay at Trevor’s! The house is clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful location. Easy access for biking to wineries and the millennium trail. Check in was easy and Trevor was very communicative. We’d absolutely stay again!

Ben was super responsive and on top of our annual reunion since the beginning of us reaching out. Beautiful private location. Lots of space to eat, lounge, play outdoor games and relax Games room and house is nice for those who want to stay up later outside the main house. Sauna and water were a perfect combo in the evening. Beautiful space and would highly recommend!

We had a great time. The cottage is large and bright nicely situated on uphill. The views overlooking the water are beautiful! The hot tub located in the large deck facing the pond was really amazing. We enjoyed observing the little wild life, birds, turtle, firefights.. The owners were communicative and helpful. A great get away place to unwind!

The resort is beautiful. The gardens of plants were a welcome sight. I came with a difficult dog so that took enjoyment away. This little resort offers all the comforts of home and the water toys.

Another prefect stay at DJs place. We will definitely be booking again next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay and took advantage of swimming in the lake, sitting on the dock, kayaking and simply watching the hummingbirds by day and fireflies by night. The location is perfect allowing us easy access to Peterborough and also Petroglyph Provincial park. Lots of great restaurant options. I would consider staying here again while visiting my child at Trent University.

We had a great time with our families during the May long weekend. The location is very beautiful and a rare find.. The theme is well laid out and rooms are in excellent condition 👍🏼 Would definitely love to visit again.

My husband and I, along with our two adventurous pups, absolutely loved our cozy cottage escape in the Kawarthas! This place had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of privacy, even in a small neighborhood—those tall bushes really made it feel like our own little hideaway. Our dogs were in heaven, running around the beautifully manicured backyard with plenty of space to explore. Inside, the cottage was just as charming, with adorable, cozy bedrooms and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed, whether we were grilling outside or whipping up a delicious meal indoors. The kitchen appliances were spotless and felt brand new. And the view from the living room? Simply stunning! We spent countless hours just soaking in the beautiful lakeside scenery right from the comfort of the couch. Although we didn’t get as much fishing in as we’d hoped, we’re already planning our next trip back! Big thanks to Mel & Stu!

Sarah’s property is one of the best I’ve stayed at so far. Everything from the warm hospitality and peaceful ambience to the top-notch amenities and the thoughtful organization of the space was absolutely perfect. The quality of every detail truly stood out, and the team was absolutely great, friendly, responsive, and professional throughout. A must visit for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and refreshing getaway.

My boyfriend and I rented Steve’s cabin for a birthday weekend and loved our stay. It was both recharging and relaxing. Being surrounded by nature all weekend felt grounding and the quiet was just what we were looking for. The bed was so comfortable and the whole cabin was so clean. Communication with Steve was great and he was so nice to chat with when we arrived. Although his home is just next door you’d never know he was even on the property unless you needed him. We did quite a bit of fishing during our stay and caught a pike on the first night! Thanks for a great stay!

Such a gorgeous property and stunning views! The main living area had views from both south and north views of the lake since it is on a point. Stocked with everything we needed. Was a lovely weekend to honour my late uncle with my family. Balsam lake was his favourite spot. We went up the weekend after the huge ice storm so the place was running on a generator, which actually stopped working for a bit but the owners were on top of it as soon as they heard. They were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again in nicer weather! 🙌🙌

Natalia and Evgeney were great hosts. They were both very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Check-in was flexible and easy thanks to Evgeney, who did a great job at setting us up with our cabin. The cabin itself was exactly as advertised. We found it to be very clean. The view of Rice Lake from our cabin was great, and the area is really peaceful and quiet. Overall, we had a great time here! It was a perfect relaxing weekend.

Margaret seemed very nice, she left croissants in the kitchen for us to have in the morning. Overall a very cozy spot to stay and we had no issues. One thing I noticed is that there's an adjoining door that connects from her side of the building to ours and I'm not sure if it locks, maybe it does but I didn't see a lock option on my side. Anyway it still felt private and we definitely got what we paid for.

We had a great stay at Thomas' place. He met us at check in, showed us the building, parking and any details we needed to know. He was very responsive, provided early check in, and coordinated parking spots for both our vehicles. The place was very clean and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

Heather’s house was a fantastic place to spend the weekend in PEC! The house and property were beautiful, spotless and came stocked with any and every amenity you might need. The location was also great as it was private but still close to many wineries. Heather was friendly, informative and responsive and made the entire process easy. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a getaway in the county!

This place was beautiful and homey! Honestly, the upper floor was much bigger than we expected and very clean. The bathrooms were all renovated and looked beautiful. The space was nice and kitchen was very pristine. The pool area was enjoyable and pond was nice to boat in. Would recommend this place for a nice family cottage trip :)

Nice stay in this one-bedroom unit in Richmond Hill. The location is great in Richmond Hill, with easy access to stores just a few minutes’ walk away. It was a comfortable and convenient stay, and I would recommend it to others visiting the area.
