This place is an absolute GEM! 💎 We loved it so much to stay here for 3 nights in this beautiful home with such an amazing staff! The pretty east coast beachfront is 5mins walking distance and if you continue on the beach 5 more mins northwards you’ll end up at turtle point. If you stay at Any‘s place you’re even lucky enough to have the (maybe) two best restaurants on the island right around the corner and yet it’s so silent and private cause it’s not first row beach access where everybody walks by. Thank you very much if I come back to Gili Air I know what place I will book again.

A quiet private paradise and hidden gem in Karangasem close to Ujung Waterpalace and White Sand Beach. Where the values and traditions of the East Bali Hindu Culture are lived and loved. With great traditional Balinese food by cookbook publicist and owner Wayan Kusuma Yanti. Great hospitality and an amazing swimmingpool with seaview, green garden, relaxing massage, friendly servant staff. Nothing else to wish for. Don’t go here when you want to enjoy a nightlife with bars and clubs. DO when you want to see a million stars and hear the rythm of the strolling waves. Be prepared to arrive as guest and leave as friend!

We loved our stay at Aquaterrace. The views were incredible. The hospitality we were shown by the owner and stuff were superb. We look forward to visiting again in the future

The place is very cute and tucked away from the business of the centre. I loved the bamboo design and the upstairs area was so chill. Breakfast was good and lots of local warungs nearby, also walkable to the centre or you can rent a bike from the place. Very happy with my stay :)

Our second time at Pelangi homestay, first one was one year ago. Felt like home! Small place with only 4 rooms. The best and most friendly staff who helped us with everything we needed. Very affordable. Simple room but got everything you need and is cozy and clean. Cleaning every day. Amazing view from the balcony with sunset, Agung and the ocean. Free coffee, tea and water all day. Breakfast included and every day we got a lot of fruit with either Balinese cake, pancake or toast with egg. Would definitely come back a third time!

The host is really nice and kind. Very good communication and always friendly. The breakfast was traditional Indonesian and good. The place is in a very natural area of Amed, people who wants to be here don’t have to be afraid by bugs or embarrass by the noise that can do the school in front of the house.

Really cute chill weekend location 🌴 The owner is very responsive and helps with anything needed. The views and energy here are beautiful really peaceful and tranquil setting. Advice : * Don’t book here and complain about bugs you are in the middle of nature it’s inevitable. * Best to travel by bike on a road trip as the location is on quite a steep hill and you’ll want to travel to go to tourist attractions and restaurants which is more difficult by car. * Visit Virgin beach it’s 30 minutes from here and beautiful white sand and amazing food 🏖️

Location was excellent, less than a minute walk to the harbour for the ferry! Very close to all the bars and restaurants. Hotel was very clean and staff were very attentive!

I have been living in the Amed area on and off for nearly 20 years . My husband and I would always go to Bhuana to have lunch at their restaurant and enjoy the beach that it sits on . Wayan’s staff always welcomed us as we passed through , so we decided to stay there for a couple nights to see how the rooms are . This hotel is the real deal. We found it clean, comfortable, and quiet. It has basic balinese decor that is functional with a desk, unlimited spring water , a rack to dry our clothes and a nice deck to sit on . Most importantly for us —the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Our room was steps from the beach. The sunrises were amazing ! In our opinion , Bhuana has the best beach in the Amed area because it is more private than other beaches in Lipah and Amed. (less tourists). So if you seek more privacy - you will like this place . This is the first time we met Wayan . He was delightful and very hospitable . Thank you Wayan - we will see you again ! 🌺

The accommodation is impeccable! Super clean, cleaning was done on a daily basis. The pool is super well maintained. The family that holds this place is super welcoming and warm. It is possible to rent scooters for 100k/day, which is very interesting, as very few things to do within 15 minutes of scooter. The island is quiet in general and there are no taxis, it is quite essential to rent a scooter. I loved my stay, I would probably go back! The host also arranged my transfer to the port for 200k.

The room was super nice and clean. You shouldn't be afraid of animals because there are no windows in the bathroom. We had to change our date at short notice, which was super easy. Communication was very good. We were offered nice excursions at a fair price. The only criticism is the uncomfortable beds - the mattresses are very worn out.

The people who work there were very kind. I want to thank them for the way they treated me. They are very attentive, and you feel well taken care of at all times. My stay there was perfect. The villa was very beautiful.

Had a good stay here. Place was as described and was clean. Staff were lovely and there is a nice security guard who is there at nights. Wayan was tremendously helpful and even helped me book my transport from Amed. Very happy and would recommend this place.

100% recommend. We initially booked for 1 week, and then ended up extending. There are 4 rooms in a beautiful purpose-built villa with a shared kitchen and living spaces + the pool. The best thing for us was the full western style kitchen (shared). We've been budget travelling in Asia for the past several months, so having an oven, and things like a good blender to make smoothies were big bonuses. Everything is clean and well maintained. AC & wifi work well. Also nice that the bedrooms have AC + a ceiling fan. The owner lives in her own separate apartment on the third floor of the villa. She's very responsive and helpful, but you also have your own privacy. She even organised a diving trip in Tulamben and gave me a free lift out there. Location in Bunutan village within wider Amed was also great. Everything you need is in Bunutan - good restaurants, dive shops, Adi Shop supermarket - but it's quieter than the main tourist strip 4km up the road in Amed village.

It was a nice place to stay! The rooms were comfy and the pool area is nice to relax a little. The street right in front is quite busy so I can get a little loud. And if you don’t have a scooter it’s a little complicated to get around. There are some restaurants and Markts around, but if you want to have a bigger choice of places to eat at, you should get a scooter. But overall it was a really nice place and we enjoyed our stay!

The stay was just great, no matter what questions I had. Everyone was answered and I was immediately helped, a point of contact was always present. The host was very polite, friendly and accommodating. I felt very well taken care of at home from the beginning. There is a very nice pool, free WiFi and TV in the room with the possibility to watch Prime, Netflix, YouTube and the like. The food in the directly adjacent restaurant "Makan Makan" is great with a good value for money, even a happy cocktail time with 25% per cocktail, everything is very well maintained. and you speak English! around a great deal will definitely come back next year

Christelle's place was absolutely amazing 😍 we had the most beautiful sunsets and due to the central location we got everywhere well. 😊 The staff were super accommodating and special thanks to Cemeng to the driver of the accommodation. He organized our excursions, transportation from the port and booked us a ferry to Lombok. Simply super!

We had a wonderful time, despite the fact that I was sick myself, I was able to recover well! The service was fantastic and the cottage and the surroundings beautiful! Would definitely recommend this to others :)
