Had another amazing week with the family this year! This makes two years staying here and we will be back for a third. Unbeatable location, views, and house.

My friends and I visited from Portland for the weekend, and we had a wonderful time at Max's place! The location is fantastic - easy to find and a quick two minute walk to the beach - and the house itself is charming and cozy. The fireplace was a hit, especially in the chilly evenings or after taking a dip in the freezing ocean. It warmed up the top level and we were comfortable the whole time. Check in was easy, there was plenty of space for our party of four, and we loved it. I absolutely recommend staying at Max's place!

This is by far the best home we’ve ever stayed at! Right on the beach in a peaceful neighborhood-many times I was the only one on the beach-Easy level path right to the sand from the yard-Beautiful furnished home with soft bed linens & towels-Great comfy leather couch & relining chairs to look out spacious windows to the beach-especially nice when you just want to relax and watch the waves-The beds were especially comfy and the home was the cleanest I’ve ever seen-lots of everything you would need in the kitchen-we had fresh crab, clams and smoked salmon…a seafood delight! Teri was so kind and responsive that she made you feel very welcome and more like a good friend-The home is minutes to Pacific City so venture out to the Pelican Brewery Restaurant-the best fish & chips and chowder ever-be sure to shop the little stores and visit the Greatful Bread-best fresh bakery I ended up going twice too-Such a wonderful home we hated to leave-Thank You Terri for having us!

A lovely stay right on the ocean and next to nature as well. An old school beach house that has everything you need….the hot tub with an ocean view is epic!

Absolutely loved the view. The home is avery nice and loved the big couch. Spent a lot of time sitting in the chairs by the beach. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Close to town and great amenities. We rode the train, ate some really good seafood at Old Smokehouse and at Jetty Fishery and Marina. We ate at the Original Pronto Pup, ice cream cones, and enjoyed the local foods store. The shops were fun and we definitely strengthened the local economy. It was just a really nice vibe and the weather was perfect. We will definitely stay there again!

We had the dreamiest stay here! This place is a gem for young families, you really could not ask for a better location and the amenities were so worthwhile as well. My kids learned how to crab and clam while we were out there and were hooked! We would definitely return without a second thought to this place!

Beautiful home with amazing views. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The host responding quickly to all requests and was incredibly accommodating. We loved our stay and would come back the next time we are in the area.

Easy walk to the beach, downtown shops, and restaurants. Well-stocked house in a quiet and peaceful location. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning on a future visit.

We needed a change of scenery over Memorial Day weekend badly, and with a 3 year old and 6 year old having a rental property as kid-friendly as Kelsey's was SO awesome. We didn't have to bring anything - books, toys, beach wagons, sand toys - ALL of that stuff was there, and because it was new to my kids, it was extra special. The sleeping accommodations were incredibly comfortable, with blackout shades and a noise machine in the kids room, and we made a delicious meal in the wonderfully appointed kitchen. We will definitely be back!

All of us --three generations--had a wonderfully amazing time at Christine's Pelican Haus! The location--a short walk to a magnificent beach and park and a three minute car ride to some great restaurants (a little longer ride to Wanda's was so worth it!)--truly made our mini vacation SO enjoyable and memorable. At the home, the outdoor hot tub and play equipment, and the indoor movies, music, and games provided fun for all ages. The kitchen was well-stocked, the dogs needs were attended to, and there was lots of room for each of us to enjoy our private time also. In other words, because the ambience was so wonderful, we had such a special, lovely, just simply A+ vacation. We hope that one day we might be back. Christine, your flexibility made this work. Thank you for your generous and kind hospitality.

What an amazing place! Stunning views , wonderful home, spectacular beach, spotless accommodations, very comfy beds, fantastic kitchen and grill. No complaints here, this place is done right. Great use of space. The eagle flying over daily was a nice touch. Really enjoyed the deck with great sunsets. Highly recommend. So great to be able to walk to waterfalls at Hug Point during low tide. Great stay!

Loved the location and privacy! Fun to have the toys in the garage like the beach chairs, scooters and helmets, and kites.

This house is beautiful and a very comfortable place to stay for friends/family. The view is amazing.

The Coral Crab was a great location! You are literally steps away from the beach and a quick 2-3min walk to local shops and the main strip. The home was beautiful! Spacious and very clean. It has everything we needed for our stay and furniture was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to come to seaside!

We have stayed some sixty-five places as far away as Ireland, Spain and Puerto Rico, never have stayed at a lodging that was as generous, well-appointed, comfortable as this one. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING and IN ABUNDANCE. For us, this is about three hours away, and there is no doubt it will become an annual visit!

Love, love, love the Mermaid Escape! The house is so adorable and feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing! It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and on the way you pass a general store (which has about everything including firewood for the beach), a Mexican restaurant, and a brunch place. If you need anything else, it's just a 5 min drive away. The jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck are divine, and the two large soaking tubs put this place over the top! The owner, Lynnet, was super responsive and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel like they are at a home-away-from home while also on a vacation. So close to the beach! It’s definitely an older house but it was perfect for a fun weekend on the beach with our dogs.

Return trip 3 years later. Great find. Amenities make it feel like you are staying with friends. Charming and peaceful.

Wonderful place to stay, cozy and welcoming as soon as we walked in. Everything was laid out with easy to find instructions, and all accommodations that could’ve been thought of, were. Fantastic place to stay if traveling through the coast, easily accessible to all surrounding towns and attractions! 10/10 space to stay, would absolutely come back.

The location of the property is amazing. The views were stunning. It was also very private, the beach was not crowded (very few people). So you basically have the beach to yourself and you are only a 5-7 minute drive from Cannon Beach. The property itself is very nice and well kept. It has absolutely everything you need. It has a ton of sleeping room and sufficient bathrooms. It feels like a luxury cottage. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

This home was the perfect location for our extended Memorial Day visit. The ocean views provided a tranquil oasis. We enjoyed the hot tub, the ability to walk directly to the beach, and the quick and easy access to the historic train ride just steps away. Our favorite part of the home was the beautiful sunroom in the back where we spent hours just taking in the views, chatting, and relaxing. In addition to the enjoyable train ride to Garibaldi during one of the days of our visit, we drove North to Cannon Beach to see Haystack Rock and the many gorgeous coastal vistas accessible just by pulling off the side of the road. On the way back, we stopped off at a winery in Manzanita and enjoyed the sunset and local wine offerings. On another day, we took the boardwalk trail to the old cedar tree, which was a super easy and tranquil hike, and then headed down to the gorgeous Cape Mears lighthouse. With Rockaway Beach bring right in the middle, it was the perfect location.
