Saltwell Cottage Seahouses

Available from Monday 4th July 2022 Gorgeous fully renovated detached cottage in the heart of the bustling seaside village of Seahouses. The property has undergone extensive renovation to provide a stylish, luxury four bedroom, four bathroom cottage with sunny gardens to the front and rear. A spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen with bi fold doors leading on to the garden with sunny patio, provides the ideal sociable living space for a holiday with family or friends. At Saltwell Cottage, there are four bedrooms, three king size with en-suite bathrooms and a twin (full size adult singles) which has use of the family bathroom together with free standing bath and walk in shower. There is off street parking for up to three cars. The cottage is very well located; only a short five minutes walk down the main street or the Heritage Path to the beautiful beaches of Seahouses and its bustling harbour. The cottage is close to the village shops, delis, cafes, pubs, restaurants and club and of course Seahouses' many award winning fish and chip shops! Some of the beautiful villages of the north Northumberland coast are just a few miles away. Both Bamburgh and Beadnell are less than three miles in either direction and are accessible by foot along a sealed path. The town of Alnwick, with its 'Harry Potter' castle and stunning Alnwick Gardens is only a 20 minute drive and the glorious Cheviot Hills can be easily reached from the cottage. Or if you just want to stay put, Seahouses has loads to offer from boat trips to the Farne Islands, crabbing on the harbour, boarding in the dunes to crazy golf and amusements. Topped off with some popular bars and restaurants. Golf enthusiasts will love Seahouses golf club, enviably positioned on the links overlooking the Farne Islands. Comfortable, quiet, harbour-front holiday apartment with spectacular views and accommodation for 4 (we can take 6 but send a message to us before booking if there are more than 4 in your party) on the edge of Seahouses. Views out to the Farne Islands where you can see countless sea birds - or stay put and watch the wildlife from the apartment. This lovely family home is set in a quiet residential area on the edge of Seahouses. It is situated only a 2 minute walk to the golf course and less than 5 minute walk to the beach, town centre and local amenities. It has an enclosed back garden which is mainly grass with a small patio area and BBQ. There is off street parking with space for 2 cars. Please note in peak months and school holidays bookings are Saturday to Saturday

The Byre. Cosy, eco friendly barn camping.

The Byre is a delightful upcycled 19th century listed cow byre on an old farm. The room looks out on to the farm courtyard. There is a large garden for visitors use, and dark skies above us. We are an eco friendly family, and the Byre comes with a private composting toilet in a separate wooden shed, and a water supply just outside.Think of it as cosy camping in a stone tent.

What a quaint little cottage... tucked away down a quiet lane but yet a short walk to the main high street. Shared parking was a little tight but manageable with a small suv, I would recommend to reverse in. Kitchen was clean and well equipped just lacking some cleaning products. I would stay here again...

Incredible location and beautifully presented cottage, easy to find and immediately comfortable and welcoming to stay in. Lindsay was a really kind and helpful host, sending lots of useful information ahead of our stay, very responsive to any queries while we were there, and generous with little touches to say hello - milk, bread, brownies, and even treats for the dog! This is a beautiful part of the world, with incredible walking to be had but not always the best weather so, the boot room for outdoor gear and general sorting out was really appreciated. Knowing it is just early days for Lindsay, you can be sure this stay will only get better with time and we would definitely love to return - thank you!

We stayed in this property over the bank holiday and found the property perfect. The views of the harbour and Farne Island were breathtaking. The location was ideal as it close to all pubs and restaurants. We would recommend this property to anybody. Parking was next to the property which again a big plus

Really lovely place and so unique. Location is perfect and so private. Facilities are good considering they are basic and the shower was great. Very clean. Could do with a fresh lick of paint but overall an amazing stay, we already want to rebook.

We had a great stay at Poppy's place with three generations of our family- there was plenty of space for everyone and the perfect set up to spend time together. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the view of the gardens through the large french windows from the living/dining area. Location was great too- only a few minutes walk to the town and the harbour. Great fish and chips and a wonderful boat trip to visit the puffins and the seals. Can recommend!
