Beachfront holiday rentals in Sea Palling

Dunwich is a beautiful seaside village with an interesting history. Beach was good (by North Sea standards but be sure to either have feet like old boots or preferably a pair of swimming shoes. The house is perfect for a family get as ours was with grandparents, maiden aunts, youngish couple and a toddler. Everything you could need and more.

We’ve just had a great week in Stone’s Throw Cottage. Location is everything, as it literally is minutes away from the most gorgeous beach, which has a beach shop, fish and chips and ice cream, plus lovely walks along the seafront to an amazing cafe. We didn’t need to drive anywhere, which is a huge bonus. The house is very comfortable and homely and well equipped (except for tea towels!), with good secure garden areas and private parking - you just need to be mindful of very close neighbours who clearly find us holiday makers an intrusion. Would highly recommend this house for a great beach holiday!

We had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay. Very dog friendly and great for the beach. We have also stayed in Rowena Cottage.

Absolutely fantastic weekend away , The apartment was as described and contained everything we needed plus more. Great location conveniently 5 minutes walk from the Beach and 10 minutes into town - along a beautiful Seaview promenade. I would certainly recommend the putting green cafe for breakfast , its the closest and the full English was on point. Great place to stay for a few days with friends. Beach easy to walk to and house cozy. Local pub great and lovely local surroundings. We have booked our 3rd vist for next spring

Really enjoyed our stay at Penny’s. She kindly offered an early check-in which was helpful for our friends particularly. Great location and a comfortable house. She even managed wall-to-wall sunshine.

Lovely home right in the centre of Southwold, we had an excellent stay!

This was a relatively last minute booking and a lucky find on air bnb. We could not fault the place or our hosts - it was exactly as it said it would be in the description. The lodge was beautifully clean and spacious. The bonus for us was that it was a small site but with everything on it that we needed, including pool, cafe, little play area, small shop and club house. The site staff and site residents were friendly and helpful. We would recommend and would stay again. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay!

Booked for a last minute stay and couldn’t have been happier! Everything was super clean, and the furnishings were beautiful, made me feel right at home. Convenient features like AirCon and Laundry were a plus! Definitely exceeded my expectations! The location was 10/10 as well, right next to the beach, and all of the tourist attractions, which was great! Will certainly be staying here again!

We had such a lovely time. Location was peaceful and the accommodation was perfectly placed for planned activities and so close to the beach. Inside was clean and lovely and warm and Hannah was fantastic at answering any questions very quickly and also making sure we were settled in. Thank you.

Dreamers Cottage is a great place to stay, handily located at the heart of Southwold, only a short walk from shops, restaurants/pubs and the seafront. The low doorways and wooden beams help the cottage to retain some of the old character of the property alongside modern furnishings. Jayne was a very proactive and helpful host. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The views from the apartments are just phenomenal at any time of day you can watch the world go by, see the sunrise and the sunset with a glass of wine in your own comfortable and private space. The location is set right on the promenade with your own parking space supplied by the booking and from there, you can walk everywhere in Cromer to all the facilities including pubs, restaurants, the pier, cafés, bars etc. Park the car and leave it there for your whole stay, Cromer has really good bus and train links up and down the coast. Excellent walking from the apartment across the coast paths: turn left and walk for about an hour for Craigie Bottoms restaurant (excelkent seafood) or turn right on the coast path and do a long circular walk towards Gunton (3-4hours) where there is spectacular countryside, easy walking and some fabulous country pubs. This apartment is of an excellent quality, perfectly located and the host is very friendly, would highly recommend for a quality stay.

We enjoyed a fabulous stay in Iain's beautiful cottage . The Haven is situated just below the sand dunes with easy access to the beautiful coast line. Iain is the perfect host, and always responded quickly . We were celebrating a special birthday so Iain had left some lovely little extras for us which we really appreciated . The cottage is beautifully furnished , squeaky clean and very spacious , the rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are super comfortable . It was lovely listening to the waves at night and birdsong in the morning . It has everything that you might need for every occasion . The enclosed garden is perfect for our furry friends and there are lovely walks in any direction , so much to see and do , you really are spoilt for choice ! We visited some local cafes and pubs all of which were very friendly , serving freshly made food . Thank you Iain we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return again !
