We really enjoyed staying at Gary’s place. Gary was friendly with fast clear communication. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Off street parking was a big plus and we could walk in to York centre in 25mins. Thank you Gary for a great stay.

We had a really nice visit. One thing that stood out was how peaceful and quiet it was. It felt like we were in the countryside. We both slept well and the bed was comfortable. The location was fantastic, it was a few minutes walk to the city walls and very close to York minster. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend the apartment. Many thanks

Ben was a great host he responded to all enquiries and provided clear information regarding check in. The apartment is a flat 10 minute walk from York train station and also to Micklegate one the entrances to the town centre. The apartment is in a modern development and seemed very new. If self catering there is a small Tesco nearby. One minor suggestion is the addition of some wine glasses and a mixing bowl other than that we really enjoyed the apartment

Great communication from the hosts prior to arriving, did not need to contact during our stay. The apartment is in a great location and easily walkable into the centre within minutes. Very well equipped kitchen , with many utensils, glasses, plates etc. Lovely living room with a comfy sofa and added bonus of Apple TV, plus a DVD player with a selection found in the bedroom. Great double bedroom, with blackout blind, wardrobe and drawers. All in all we had a fabulous 2 night stay in an amazing private apartment! Thanks for our stay 😄

Very comfortable clean apartment with everything you could need. The gratis bottle of wine and tea cakes were a nice touch. Easy allocated parking nearby. Great location for touring and visiting the area. Village has several places to eat/take aways and local shops. Be warned about the stairs as they are a little irregular and the pub opposite had loud music all weekend, this may just have been because it was a bank holiday and was mostly cancelled out by closing the windows.

We loved our stay at this property - it was a super location steps to all the sights and restaurants in York, but quiet and comfortable. Great water pressure in the lovely, clean shower and the bed was very comfortable for a great night’s sleep. Highly recommended for exploring amazing York!

Tim’s place was amazing-quiet, peaceful and so close to everything. I walked everywhere easily. No complaints as a single female traveler and would stay again.

Wonderfully charming cottage, Hosts were pleasure to deal with. Our small jug dog loved the space with private field and easy access for walks. Exactly as described, thanks again for a great stay. Would definitely book again!

Our stay was perfect. Very beautiful home. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the house was just beautiful, every room was immaculate and we felt very lucky to have such a grand home to ourselves. We will 100% be returning and telling our friends and family about this amazing place.

Alex's place was a great stay, we only had a couple of days visiting family, but it suited us perfectly. we met Alex upon arrival and he made us feel at home straight away, explained everything about the facilities and the neighboring area, we'd highly recommend.

Great location in the centre of historic Lincoln, close to shops, eateries and the cathedral. It’s a beautiful house, very well equipped, with a lovely quiet outside space which we enjoyed. Comfortable beds with high quality linen and modern bathrooms. Rare to find somewhere with three king size beds!

Lovely house! Scott & Helen left lovely notes in the house along with treats for us, milk & butter in the fridge, a loaf of bread and a selection of things in the cupboard for breakfast! Honestly can’t fault them, i had a few questions and they responded fast every time. Would definitely recommend😊

We had a relaxing 3 night stay at the church. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a more unusual break. The church itself was larger than expected. The kitchen area is modern and well equipped, there’s beds were comfortable and the underfloor heating a nice addition. The location is good, there’s a scenic river close by for walks, and it’s a good location if you’d like to visit local beaches, Humber bridge etc.

Aaron's place was perfect for me and my son, from the comfortable beds in the spacious rooms, to the living room with the big screen TV, the well lay out kitcken and the calm and comfortable dinning area in the conservatory. It was clean and clutter free. We took a short break and was close enough to visit Cleethorpes beach. The area is quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely, clean, and spacious apartment! The apartment was spotless and had plenty of room to relax. The secure walled garden was perfect for my pooch — such peace of mind! We were greeted on arrival by great hosts who made us feel very welcome. I had a great night’s sleep, and the location was ideal for visiting my family for birthday celebrations, just 20 minutes up the road. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again! Had a lovely stay. The apartment was really cute and well furnished. Really beautiful neighbourhood with lots of nice bars/restaurants. Tesco close by if you want to buy food to cook as well. Hosts were very communicative too.

Alison’s apartment was spotlessly clean and looked just like the photos. It’s an amazing location if you want to access all York has to offer. Everything was in walking distance which was great. Alison was really quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit York.

Fantastic stay, honestly a 9.8 out of 10. Pro's: - 5 min walk to the shop and 7 min walk to the pub. 25 min walk to town or 8 min drive. - Spacious, lots of room to relax - The kitchen had every utensil: microwave, fridge, freezer, oven, even spices!! - The living room was cosy and Vic left a small bottle of prosecco for us (very kind) - Massive mirrors and a very comfortable bed - Extra towels and sheets - Large shower, decent pressure Con's - The shower heat couldn't be adjusted - perhaps a small fix? - Wifi is a little slow if you want to watch films or videos, but not a major issue Would recommend and stay again.

Slightly apprehensive as this was my first time using airbnb but my fear was unfounded. The absolutely beautiful snug was the perfect stay. From leaving us complimentary bread, croissants, buns, a bottle of orange juice, a bottle of milk, butter with 2 selection of homemade jams, multiple choices of teas and coffee. A basket of drinks and chocolate was supplied at a rate of £2.50 per item which is brilliant if your caught short. Robes, slippers, towels,shower gel, a cabinet full of womens makeup and other necessities was also provided. I have no bad words at all to say about the snug and before we walked out the door we knew we would be back.

We had a wonderful stay. Sharon was great and very responsive over message. Easy instructions of how to gain entry. The beds were extremely comfy and it is a very homely place to be. Will definitely stay here again 🙂
