Family-friendly holiday rentals in Schwäbisch Gmünd

Everything is great, as always! Small criticism of bedrooms on the upper floor: there were hardly any ways to hang clothes here. We will be happy to come back

The house is an absolute dream – from the furnishings to the ambience to the loving details, everything is designed with a lot of heart. Everything you need is available - and much more! We were particularly impressed by the sauna and the whirlpool, both in perfect condition and ideal for relaxing. More detailed instructions for heating the pool would have been helpful, but did not affect the enjoyment. The quiet location ensures real relaxation, the ambience invites you to switch off. You can see the attention to detail, from the soft towels to the stylish bathrobes. The host was very friendly, the communication pleasant - a little faster answers would be nice, but that's a high level of complaining. A small suggestion for improvement: a charging facility for electric cars would be great today. Overall, an all-round successful weekend that we would like to repeat. Please continue in the same way!

Everything was great, as always

We spent a nice week in this refined and very well-equipped house. Nothing was missing despite the purist design (hardly any pictures on the walls, no cabinets, but instead very good pillows, cozy sofa, good beds, great fireplace & plenty of wood, good garden furniture, top kitchen equipment). Overall highly recommended with great excursion opportunities to Kirchberg, Rotenburg, Schwäbisch Hall etc...

The property is in a perfect location right on the marketplace, where there is a weekly market twice a week in the morning from 7am. The amenities of the entire property are upscale and there was nothing missing. Volker had prepared a folder with all the important and helpful information about the area. We will be happy to come back.

The host Uschi was great

We stayed at Maren's place for 2 nights and were very happy there. Maren was very communicative during the booking, the check-in and also during check-out. The attic apartment is quite spacious, as described in the listing, and truly within walking distance to anything you want to see in Ludwigsburg. The eggs, milk and butter in the fridge were a really nice surprise. Also, the coffee maker with the espresso cartridges, and various other nice touches in the kitchen. At checkout, it actually turns out that our mother's actually knew each other... :)

The accommodation was exactly as described and is highly recommended! What far exceeded my expectations was the location: nestled in a gently hilly, partly wooded landscape, partly characterized by heathland, my hiking heart beat faster. There are numerous places worth seeing (castle ruins, a former monastery complex, bathing pond, etc.), which you can explore directly from the accommodation on beautiful hiking trails. By car, you can quickly reach other picturesque and very interesting places that are not only worth a visit: Nördlingen, Burg Harburg, Bopfingen, Wemding, Katzenstein or Neresheim with an abbey church whose ceiling frescoes by Martin Knoller are unparalleled!!! On the trips there, I have come across so many other promising places and regions, so that there is still a lot to discover for future visits :) I am not least grateful to my always friendly hostess Elke for the delicious restaurant tips!

Apartment was exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable. Location was quiet, walkable to several very nice parks. Very nice stay and I appreciated Micheal as the host, very responsive before and during stay. Would recommend this apartment to vacation or business travelers.

Very cozy beautiful apartment. Rooms were very spacious, clean and modern.Especially I loved the scenic view from the balcony. Very calm and beautiful place surrounded by vineyards and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Bus stop is located in front of apartment and the apartment is located just 1km away from rauthaus(town hall). Need to tell about Renate and Fritz, they were very friendly with us. It’s our first time visit to Germany they gave us warm welcome and was very helpful. With no other second thought I would recommend this stay … :-)

Had a very nice stay. The children loved the garden and played in it wonderfully. Nice cottage in use, everything available. It's great that there are shutters everywhere! There is a lot to do in the area and Legoland is a short distance away. The only disadvantage of the area is the many speed cameras. Contact with Sonja and Jürgen positive, they are friendly and helpful. In short; recommended!

Very nice place to stay, I would definitely come again. Hopefully the COVID restrictions will be lifted soon and the swim area can be used by multiple families again, it would be a great place to hang out in the evenings for some social gatherings.

The stay was during Christmas and New Year; Christian and his family went above and beyond as hosts, were very kind and helpful, and spoke German and English. I recommend places to visit during your stay; public transport is perfect for supermarket shopping and surrounding areas of interest. A thermal spa is nearby, and there are excellent local hiking trails. This Air BnB has all the modern conveniences: a lounge, sofa, TV area, kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and bedroom. The place has extra beds if need be. Suppose you're after a quiet place with stunning natural beauty and cave systems with boutique shops and restaurants. I recommend it 100 %, and you will enjoy your stay. There is parking if you come by car or bike. Five Star Rating.

Good location and had everything we needed

Melanie was a great host! She was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and other requests. Her response time was very quick. She is wonderful!
