One of the Best Airbnb Stays We've Had! This villa was truly one of the best Airbnb properties we’ve ever stayed in. It’s a spacious house with all modern amenities, beautifully maintained and perfectly located. The views of the Black Forest from both the living room and bedroom were absolutely stunning. The large balcony with a dining table made it perfect for enjoying meals with a breathtaking view. The villa also has a beautiful garden and a lovely outdoor sitting area, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The private sauna and wellness area were a fantastic bonus — we wish we had booked a couple more days to enjoy it even more! Melanie was a wonderful and friendly host, making our stay even more comfortable. Just a note for future guests: having your own transportation is essential, as there’s no public transport nearby. We’re already looking forward to visiting again!

Our family of four, kids 12 and 9, had a lovely week away here! Fantastic views of the Black Forest, comfy beds, stylish bathrooms, terrace, well equipped kitchen and parking. Hornberg is great for hiking and sightseeing. We hiked through the woods from the house, drove to Feldberg to climb the highest point in the Black Forest and enjoyed a walk to Hornberg Castle. Triberg Waterfall was a great day out, as were the various museums and attractions there. A highlight was Ride and Slide day at Europa Park and Rulantica. Amazing rides, short queue times and excellent theming. We've been to Disneyland and, honestly, had a better time here! We headed to Baden Baden for a walk along the allee and a trip on the funicular to the watch the paragliders jump. We spent the whole of our last day at the Freibad Hornberg, a wonderful lido, local to the house, where our kids played on the huge slide and diving boards for hours. Can't recommend the house and location enough!

We had a great stay, all 3 of us didn't want to leave. The view was extraordinary, lots to see around the cottage & nice people in the neighborhood. Everything in the cottage was great & were even surprised how beautiful it all was. Quick response from host for tips & advice. There was nothing disappointing. 15 minutes from villages where there was also a lot to do. This was a great experience & we look forward to coming back. Thank you !

We were very satisfied with Mr. Hartmut and the accommodation. Was our 1st time at an AirBnB and a nice experience. Mr. Hartmut has apparently not received such good reviews for nothing. He always seemed very uncomplicated and friendly. Makes everything very transparent and fair. In our 4 days and 3 nights we felt comfortable and can not complain about the price, cleanliness and performance. Simply great, no lie. Thanks again for a nice time.

A much more welcoming feel than the pictures suggest – cozy, with beautiful views in a lovely setting. Fantastic walking right from the doorstep, and a great golf course with restaurants and a spa also within walking distance. Spotlessly clean throughout.

Anita was an extremely friendly host, she welcomed us very well. The accommodation is very cozy, well decorated and functional. The garden in front of the accommodation is really nice, we spent two very relaxing days.

Good place if you have a dog. The forest is next to the house. I also liked the restaurant next door, as well as the small supermarket about 3 blocks away. Edward and his assistants always answer you, that's very important. Everything was calm

Highly recommend this place! The place and hosts are so welcoming and setting is stunning. One could spend a long time there and still not see everything in the area - it’s a great location to go and explore from. But staying in is great too, we didn’t even want to leave the cozy wintergarden with views of fields full of wildflowers. And the place is very comfortable. Loved it.

We loved this apartment, the infared sauna was amazing, my husband liked the massage chair and our daughter enjoyed the closet bedroom attached to ours. It was perfect, we had a lovely time there.

Apartment has very good air ventilation, well equiped and easy access to all facilities provided especially the swimming pool and sauna. In and of itself, it was quite beautiful, with a great view out to the living area. Beautiful window front. However, it gets warm pretty quickly when the sun shines continuously🫣😯😉. Despite everything, highly recommended. Thank you 😇😏

Absolutely loved this apartment, maybe tricky if you don’t like stairs but overall perfect. We didn’t, unfortunately meet Thomas however we did meet his lovely wife Anja who couldn’t be more welcoming. Highly recommend this apartment and the area around it. We spent a very nice week here, the apartment is very well equipped, cozy and quiet. The city center can be reached on foot in 20 minutes and is highly recommended! I would be happy to come back..

Verena and Rudi’s home was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed (and we’ve stayed in a lot!). They were such kind hosts who made us feel so welcome. The setting on the banks of the Rhine is incredible. We swam in the river every day, enjoyed their lovely pool, and loved the beautiful view. Already wondering when we can come back next!

Great and clean apartment in a beautiful area

Great and beautiful remote location to find some peace and quiet in the Schwarzwald!

We felt right at home in the apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything possible, there are many games and books - also a game of patience that we unfortunately could not solve 😅 In about 8 minutes at the bus stop, with the bus only running very sporadically on Sunday. On foot, however, you can also reach Paula-Modersohn Square in about 15-20 minutes and from there take the light rail towards Freiburg. Would definitely come again!

The stay here was exactly what we expected! A beautiful, clean space that was equipped with all comforts. Despite having some rainy days, we were able to stay in this cottage! This is definitely recommended!

Beautiful holiday apartment! Everything was perfect from the start. Eunice is a fantastic host and we felt welcome even before arriving at the Pine Cone Loft as she provided us with all the relevant information well in advance. The apartment is pristine, luxurious and the views over the forest from the balcony and from the kitchen are breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you need including coffee and tea. Even the bathroom is equipped with shampoo, shower gel and lots of towels. Eunice was very patient with our rescue dog who was a bit nervous at first. Everything is very dog friendly, the dog house rules are easy to follow and there even was a water bowl and mat for our dog. The whole apartment was very clean and we felt immediately at home. The area is beautiful and quiet and right on the hiking trails. Baden-Baden very close and easy to reach within 10 minutes by car. Eunice has so many great tips about the area and is always there to help if you need anything. 100% recommend!
