Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. The outdoor pool is about 300 meters away. The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

Our apartment is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Benshausen, suitable for nature lovers. An ideal starting point for many hikes & bike tours. It is only 15 km to the well-known winter sports center Oberhof am Rennsteig, year-round cross-country skiing in Skisport Halle Oberhof, tobogganing, bike park, golf climbing park, wellness in the H2O Therme, sea aquarium in Zella-Mehlis.

Für die kleinen Gäste steht im Garten ein Trampolin, eine Nestschaukel und eine Seilbahn bereit. The child-friendly apartment was completely renovated and newly furnished in 2022. It can accommodate 4 people and a toddler. The apartment is quietly located on the outskirts of Schmalkalden. It is the starting point for hiking and cycling tours or for exploring the old town. For nice evenings in our large garden, we will be happy to provide you with a grill or enjoy the time in our beautiful conservatory.
