Holiday rentals in Schisma Eloundas

We had a fabulous holiday at Ioanna’s place. It is a family affair and they were such gracious hosts with a welcome meal as well as some sweet treats along the way. Thanks so much to lovely Despina who gave us many tips on eating out and shopping. The photos are a fair representation of the property and it is situated within easy driving distance of Agios Nikolaos and Elounda. The pool area is ideal for 4 people with comfortable sunbathing loungers. We ate out mostly in Elounda which is a lovely small town. The best meals we had were the fish dishes and local Cretan fayre. We visited Spinalonga after reading the book ‘the island’. Still worth it in spite of recent increases in costs. We preferred to go direct from Plaka on the ferry rather than take a tour where we would have been restricted to time. We also traveled into the hills to Kritsa where there are lovely jewellery and gift stores along the main thoughfare and Kritsa gorge is worth a visit. We take away special memories! X

Perfect location. Loved the house and views! Host communicated quick and so well with us.. very helpful! We were a little bummed because the 4th bedroom was downstairs in the gym. Didn’t work out for our family and we really wanted 4 bedrooms and baths all by each other. But we made it work.. lovely hosts and place!

Everything was perfect and the airbnb made our holiday. Clean with so many amenities. Lots of space for us. The best view in elounda definitely. Babis helped us with everything from showing us bus routes, recommending restaurants and excursions to booking our transfers to the airport. He is very friendly and a great host.

This is a great villa with great hosts! The place is gorgeous, the house itself - an architect's house with great taste throughout - and the setting. The garden is amazing, planted with beautiful plants and trees, and the view over the sea is breathtaking. The pool is big, you can definitely swim and exercise back and forth if you want, or just enjoy and relax, taking advantage of the many lounge chairs and quiet spaces in the garden. The outdoor spaces are well thought out, so you can find spots in the shade throughout the day. To top it all, Ioannis and Alexandra are wonderful and kind people, who care about their house - perfectly maintained - and their guests. They were there to welcome us and show us around the house. They had filled the fridge and shelves enough for 2 meals. They took us around the aera and arranged for chef Dimitrios to come prepare a typical greek dinner at the house one night. Wonderful and absolutely delicious experience. You can't go wrong staying there!

stunning property in a perfect location on the hillside. views across the bay and the surrounding mountains. Pool was most welcome in the heat. would recommend to a friend without a doubt. Hopefully will return one day!

Great location, beautiful view, only thing are the stairs up to apartment, no handrail.

A Wonderful Stay at Villa Karfi Elounda, Crete We recently stayed at the beautiful Villa Karfi in Elounda, Crete, and had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. It was myself, my daughter, my sister, and a good friend—and the villa was absolutely perfect for our group. The villa itself is well-equipped with everything you could need, plus lots of thoughtful little touches that really made our stay special. The private swimming pool was a real highlight, surrounded by comfortable sunbeds, chairs, and tables—ideal for soaking up the sun or enjoying a meal outdoors. The location was also spot-on. Elounda town, with its wide choice of lovely restaurants and shops, was just a 10 to 15-minute walk away—so we didn’t need to rely on taxis at all. A huge thank you to our hosts, John and Flic, who were truly amazing—some of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Warm, welcoming, and always happy to help, they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We would absolutely recommend Villa Karf

An amazing Villa set in it's own private grounds. a little piece of Heaven would not be an understatement. Everything you could need was within the Villa with the Host also kindly also providing all the necessities such as water, milk and juice in the fridge. With a fresh fruit bowl, Easter Eggs and a various assortment of biscuits also provided - which were also very tasty! A big thank you to both our host Mr Nektarios & his lovely wife for their hospitality which was second to none.
