An old Kundersteen quarry from bygone times, is 200m from our B&B. Voerendaal is the gate of the Limburg hills. The walks are magnificent. For cyclists, the routes are a Walhalla. The Amstel Gold Race and Limburgs Mooiste are one of the most well-known cycling rounds that come past our backyard.

We offer a granny apartment in our house in Gillrath with its own entrance in the countryside and yet a few minutes by car from the city of Geilenkirchen with very good bus and train connections to Aachen, Düsseldorf and Cologne. In the village of Gillrath is the historic steam train station. There are many opportunities for cycling, hiking and excursions. Several recreational areas are nearby, as is the Dutch border.
