This lovely apartment, located on the second floor, has a beautiful view over the countryside, is directly on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway you will reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box-spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with next to it the spacious bathroom. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

This chalet is within 6x4 and equipped with kitchen (with microwave oven and fridge), bathroom with shower and toilet, a cozy bedstee (1.40 m x 2.00 with a step) and sufficient storage space. The spacious, covered terrace of 6x3 meters (west) is easily connected with the living space. You really are at the (swimming)water of the clean puddle. Ilpendam is a picturesque village in Waterland, 8 km north of Amsterdam. We have the advantages of the countryside, on the other hand we are in 10 min by car or bus to the A'dam Metro! After a hectic day in the city, you can relax here in nature. There is a large wooden deck on the water with table and chairs. Here you can swim if you like or paddle with our borrowed canoes. There's also a terrace in front of the house, with a table and 3 chairs where you can have breakfast in the morning sun.

After a good night's rest, you will enjoy your own wonderful waterfront terrace. Your apartment has its own entrance and is on the second floor of our beautiful house. Be aware that there is NO kitchen.

There are beautiful cycling and hiking trails in the area. Schoorl's mountain bike trail is 5 km away. Cities nearby are Schagen and Alkmaar. Shortly to a holiday destination with plenty of possibilities.

Our cottage "2nd Heimat" is the largest in the park "de Watersnip". It is located in the coastal town of Petten near the beach & is nestled in the typical Dutch countryside. A small shell path leads to our special retreat, which offers some amenities. The park in which our house is located also has many leisure activities (pool, etc.) that are available for our guests.
